Excellent experience from start to finish.
The visit to the Showroom was very worthwhile, giving us the chance to see the unit working, recieve answers to all our many questions and compare our choice with other makes and models.
The fitting was excellent - obviously very experienced Engineers who worked quickly, were very friendly and helpful and left everything clean and tidy.

We had an old open fire that leaked fumes into the first floor bedroom. We had been looking for what options were available for us for a few years but got nowhere until I happened to find the Cheshire Stove Shop on an internet search.
I emailed them and they quickly and helpfully identified what kind of open fire we had and what our options were and prices from the outset of installing a woodburner and flue.
We arranged for them to visit us to give us a quotation and they were really informative. We wanted to have the work done before we went on holiday, and chose options provided by recommendations from Martyn who worked really quickly to sort out the materials and woodburner.
Thanks to Alf and Clive for excellent workmanship, shaping the plasterwork into the old walls and installing the hearth etc and keeping us informed at every step that needed a decision. We were shown how to use the fire. We’re really enjoying sitting in the room now it has a good fire.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. We were kept up to date with installation dates and on the day the team arrived on time, covered up all carpets from the door to the lounge and worked with every care needed.

Excellent, honest, friendly service from the beginning. We went to The Cheshire Stove Shop with an idea in mind. We ran through our idea with them and they advised that our idea wouldn’t work doe to size of the stove v the size of the room it was going in and explained why. To the relief of my wallet their proposal was significantly less in cost.
They ran through each of the available stove models in their show room and explained the pro’s and con’s of each unit making our decision on design easy.
The installation team took 2 days to remove our old fire place, install the new hearth, flue and the stove. The team took great care to ensure everything remained as clean as possible and that we were happy with the installation throughout.
The training and tips provided by the installation team on completion was very useful.
I would recommend The Cheshire Stove Shop to anyone who is considering a stove.

We are absolutely thrilled with the work that Alf and Clive performed - I can’t express how pleased we are to have such professional and respectful tradesmen- our fire was not straight forward and they worked so hard to ensure it was spot on and we were happy with it. They kept the house tidy and cleaned up after themselves - makes such a difference to the experience. The fire has already transformed the room and we haven’t even painted or carpeted yet. To have such hard working and courteous tradesman working on the house has been a pleasure - Alf’s guidance on using the fire is great, especially for us as first time log burners. The service from the start was friendly and helpful. And even when we decided to return the electric stove - no faults, it was just louder than we'd expected - the guys at The Cheshire Stove Shop remained helpful and easy to deal with and took it back, no problem. Very happy to recommend.

Use of the term ‘decoration’ in the beginning led to a misunderstanding at a late stage about how much more the total cost would be. Decoration is not, as I’d thought, the painting around the fire (which my builder was due to do), but some very expensive boards that are integral to the safe use of the fire. This was also after the shock of the cost of installation. Also slightly disappointed that I was expected to pick up the said (approx 2m) boards in my car. It felt like punishment for asking my builder to do the ‘decoration’ instead of Cheshire Stoves Shop. Otherwise, I really like the Element Sky T medium and am looking forward to using it to its full potential in the winter!

If you are looking for or thinking of a log burning stove, don't go anywhere but Cheshire Stoves! We visited the shop in Macclesfield felt at ease from day one, Nick & Martyn were very good very helpful throughout & really know their stuff, from our first visit upto the installation of our stove. I could always ring or email get help & good advice from them. James and Mark were excellent fitting the stove gave us good information were very professional, efficient & kept the living room tidy & clean throughout installation, we are enjoying our stove with the cold weather we are having & thanks again to all the team at Cheshire Stoves
