from the begining you messed my insurance up. Too many issies in the first few month ranging from your staff having a short "break" which turned into him getting married and off for several weeks. mYouyr staff did not appear to know this which meant my inception was delayed. Miss quotes due to incorrect information imput for my quote, to not sending renewal details until 5 days before expiry. Then not being able to do anthing about your extention until 7 days after the expiry which efectivel lost me my businees as I was not notified of your agreed extention until 6 days after expiry. Total waste of time, unreliable service from start to finish and not even a letter to confirm my no claims after not renewing!! Service? they don't know what it means. Thank god I am not with them now. Such a shame as they came on good recommendation from several collegues in my industry. They too are having second thoughts.

I have been with this company for probably 15 years, You have got to be the worse ever company for answering the phone to the point i was going to give up, you never speak to the same person dealing with your claim,it took me 18 weeks without a car to settle my claim,
I was paid a ridiculous amount not realisic to value of car,

The office appeared to be understaffed and we did not feel that our business was valued. We had to come into the office for several days running in order to sort everything out as the information requested was not completed in one visit and the information given had to be asked for. We will wait and see how thing go in the future as to whether we stay with this company Some of this could be put down to the fact that we had been with the same company for many years and therefore were perhaps not up to date on the way things work now.

After 4 years with Clegg Gifford, my policy was cancelled just because my driving licence took too long to come back — even though I’d provided my updated address and documents. They unfairly reduced my no-claims bonus from 7 years down to 3 for an “open unpaid claim” they can’t explain. I emailed them at least 6 times requesting my proof of NCB, and they finally sent it just one day before my new insurer was due to cancel my policy. The delays, lack of transparency, and poor service caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. In the end, I lost my full 7 years NCB — but my new insurer still came out cheaper, even with the cancellation declared.

I have been a Clegg Gifford customer for approximately 25 years and apart from the time they moved my contact office from Guilford to Newcastle thinking it would be better because it was closer but still 80 miles away and in the 25 yrs I’ve never visited the office once so I requested to be transferred back because I had formed a relationship with the staff there who are all absolutely outstanding. The service they provide is second to none and I have recommended dozens of people to them which is not something I would do without having upmost confidence in their ability to deal with them in a professional but also friendly manner and give good service alongside value for money.
Five stars all the way.

To be honest, the staff are really good on the phone. I have a claim going through at the moment I’m very disappointed on how hard it is to sort this problem out. My insurance has gone up £1000. I’m fully comprehensive or third-party has damaged my car Recovering it Yet it seems it’s a major problem for me to get my car repaired and I’m just really upset about this as a company i thinks fine but feel let down As I’m fully comprehensive, and it’s a non-fault accident of mine
