This started out as a pretty decent plug in. It was worth using for years. In the last 9 months the platform has shifted. It used to be get x% back up to a certain dollar amount. Now the only offers i get are like spend 300 get 75 back. The problem with those offers is you can only use it once for what ever category it falls into. They never tell you what the special falls into. The way it works is it passes an affiliate link so that they are earning kick backs from directing your purchase and finding ways to not pay out. If they push you out to kohls, kohls will cut them a percent then you get nothing

I'm very disappointed in this site. I used Capital One Shopping over Rakuten several times when booking Viator excursions for my last trip. Now when I've completed the trip, I look at the website and most of those purchases were deemed Ineligible, for some unknown reason. I did use my Capital One credit card to make those purchases, and I did complete the excursions. For some reason, my total rewards actually decreased since I checked it before the trip! I'm going to cash out and get a gift card for what I have on there, then discontinue using this site. A complete scam!

My CapitalOne Shopping account was hacked and the person that accessed my account illegally redeemed my rewards for a gift card and used the gift card. I've submitted 4 help requests to report the fraud via the CapitalOne Shopping "help center" along with numerous emails and no one has responded. Fraudulent activity occurred on my account and there is no one to help me. Beware - if you need help with anything, you aren't going to get it. They do not care about you. This app sucks.

I got the same fantastic offers they stalk my browser history several days in a roll. So my son who got very tight budget on college decided to purchase a couch from JC Penny for the $100 back on >$300 purchase incentive Capita One promised and even waited for a very slow delivery. Then the reward never followed though and changed from "pending" to "ineligible". When you contacted customer service, they provide something in general that you are still confused which one you didn't follow or meet requirement. And you even lost the basic % store reward, or other coupons, and all other options. Very disappointed!

I have used Capital One Shopping site I have gotten gift cards with no numbers or 0 balances. You cant contact anyone My rewards have been pending since 2019 They don't deliver what they offer. I have written their help center 8 times with no response. I think it is a scam site.

If I could I would leave negative rating. I had dollars accumulated, linked my credit card so I could get a gift card & then all my Capital One shopping rewards disappeared down to $1.75!!! This site offers no phone number and the email given to contact them gets returned as 'this email account is not being monitored'. Submitted a ticket via their website & got the run around. Never got resolved. DO NOT USE CAPITAL ONE SHOPPING REWARDS. IT IS A SCAM CONTRARY TO WHAT YOU WILL READ. BAIT & SWITCH

Capital one shopping web extentinsion is collecting data and providing none of the promised "rewards". Stick with Retail-Me-Not, by far the better option.

The $45 "free dollars," is a scam and only available thirty days out after your fifteen dollar purchase, none of this is of course mentioned or included when you're jumping through all of these hoops to get it back. Bait and Switch. Scam.

Received an email stating that my rewards on the way and next time I checked it was deemed ineligible. almost a bait and switch situtation.

I used Capital One Shopping on hotel bookings for Iceland. The extension kept putting a discount in front of me, about 50% if I'd book through hostels.com so I did . it kept reappearing so I booked six of them. I am not staying in any of them until June.

I paid more than I would have on Booking.com at my Genius level, because of that discount. (though I compared and they were cheaper than Capital One travel so avoid that too.)
Nothing on the confirmation says the reward stuck. It does not show up in any useful time. You cannot tell for days whether it is even going to try, and you only find out after the hotel stay is complete (June!)
When I went back to look, Walmart, Temu, and Target have failures going back years yet working every so often. The fact there is an interval is documented but the intervals are not given! I should not have assumed that the pop up meant I was eligible. Basically I let the extension talk me into going through Capital One Shopping instead of my preferred cards. Looking back, those rewards have been bouncing for several years.
Support is email only, and I only got the address by calling the regular Capital One number. I wrote. No answer. I'm canceling them anGoing back to only accepting the offer if I'm truly going to do it exactly that way anyway and don't mind possibly losing one percent which I because I get 2% to 5% on other credit cards... come to think of it I'm going to uninstall it from my browser.

So generally, they are pretty good. Sometimes, though, they miss the rewards you are due, which can amount to serious missed cash that you were promised. I have submitted a missed rebate twice. It should have been a 14% reward, which is the only reason I shopped at this one site. Nothing. They don't acknowledge my report of their error. It's almost like you have to take a screenshot of the offer capitaloneshopping gives you ahead of time, a screenshot of the clicking to get to the site, a screenshot of the purchase, a screenshot of the receipt (and then maybe your credit card statement?). Too much hassle for a temperamental site that doesn't pay everything they promise.

Bought two items at two different times and never received any bonus points.

I have been a long time account holder and customer of Capital One Shopping Rewards. Two months ago my account was breached, my profile information changed and $285 in my rewards used by the hacker to buy gift cards. There is no number to call to reach the shopping department or direct email. You have to rely on a help box. After 6 weeks of constant remailing my help request I received an answer that my rewards would NOT be reinstated and they do not offer any guarantee on the security of their platform. This is not a secure platform, obviously easy for someone to hack and Capital One will not stand beside you if there is fraud.

Consistently underwhelming. Sure, you get the "cash back" but you also get a very narrow band of redemption options for your "value total." Just get a cash back card from someone reputable like Fidelity or even Discover and stop trying to navigate the Capital One quagmire of total bull.

I did the referral and even order something twice over 10 and my referral bonus is not pending or even counts smh where’s my reward??? TERRIBLE APP please report to the bbb

There's a choice of only 7 different gift cards available as rewards none of which interest me at all. The reward options are far greater with other cashback companies so there's virtually no incentive to use Capital One.

They ask you for too much sensitive information like bank accounts and others in order for you to redeem your rewards, gift cards selection is pathetic, and most of the gift cards are not preferred by the majority of people, No Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, Kroger, Meijer, Target, Sams Club, Costco, gift cards, I stopped using them for the inferior variety of gift cards selections.

Just deleted my account. Somehow my points were submitted for an order to redeem a $142 lululemon gift card however I was ok with it and when I decided to use it, the gift card was depleted to a zero dollar balance already. What kind of scam is going on here???

This Capitol One extension for shopping is a scam! It takes over your purchases and removes other viable codes. Redeeming rewards is impossible as well. It's a total scam and the entire program should be canceled as it doesn't work!
