Blueacorn is full of lies and I am confident they are a scam. I posted here a few weeks ago and their response was sorry they were unable to process the loan.

This is a complete lie. I receive an approval on May 12, signed paperwork May 14. Each time I asked a question or they asked for info it was provided and I was told the money would be coming. After continuing not to receive a response I finally got a text saying you loan has not been approved and they shut everything down. The only saving grace I have are date and time stamped communications.

Also I was told by the NC district SBA that blueacorn accepted the $2500 service fee specially for my loan number and they have not returned it. Two SBA reps (Emily & Karen have sent several emails from the SBA to blueacorn & copied me on the emails, they have called blueacorn with no response and they have elevated the matter to their directors with SBA and had me file a complaint with Office of Inspector General - OIG). In addition all websites with PPP disbursement info have me listed as having received the funding as well.

Another colleague in the industry experienced the exact same thing with blueacorn. They have been told over and over their funds were coming and even recently in a chat with blueacorn were told all still looked good and money would be there soon. Well this week they received this message from blueacorn: We are writing to let you know that we have determined that based upon information you provided, your application does not meet the requirements for the Paycheck Protection Program.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to fund your PPP loan.  
During our review and processing of millions of loan applications, we have continually updated protocols to eliminate applications that do not meet the standards of the PPP. As part of our process, which includes a thorough manual review by our service team, we concluded that a responsible lender could not fund your loan due to at least one of the following reasons:
• We were unable to verify your identity.
• You did not submit sufficient proof that your business was operational as of February 2020.
• You did not sign and accept the promissory note.
• You did not submit sufficient documentation to verify eligibility as required by PPP.
• You did not upload a verifiable copy of one of the following requested documents:
◦ 2019 or 2020 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC or W3
◦ Incorporation Documents
◦ The filed Schedule C included in your tax return (2019 or 2020 as requested)
◦ Proof of Quarterly Tax Payment to IRS (Q4 2019 or Q1 2020 as requested)
◦ Filed 1040 tax return (2019 or 2020 as requested)
We understand that this is not the result you were looking for.
Please know, we take our efforts to verify compliance with PPP standards very seriously and simply could not verify your eligibility based upon the information you provided. This decision is final and cannot be appealed.

The most unusual thing about this message is that person had already uploaded and completed every item the mention above and they have proof as they kept good records as well. So this company is lying, misleading people, taking the money and doing lord knows what and creating greater hardship on small business during a pandemic and also while riding in the tail or horizon of another huge impact due to virus strain increasing across the US.

I have written every place I can this week, including White House, white accounts, SBA, various senators and governors and I will not stop until this company pays the people as confirmed and agreed and they are put out of business for fraud, theft and anything else possible. It’s so sad and unfortunate. All of my professional groups, colleagues, academic community who reviewed PPP funding has no experience similar to the one myself and so many others have encountered with Blueacorn, but I won’t stop stepping on the dogs toe to save, help and prevent other vulnerable businesses to be taken advantage and abused in the manner blueacorn has done to me and so many others.

If I would have known it take a year to get funded I would’ve picked a different lender you guys sold me a dream

I’m having the same issue I was approved and my funds were on they way…my I institution sent the funds back so I had to reverify my identity and update my account information for funds to be redeposited. Once I updated ( which was a month ago) it said I was in the process of being funded. I got an email today from blue acorn saying that I was denied and it was a final decision. After I was approved. Currently connecting sba and lawyer just to look into blue acorn just in case there’s fraud on their behalf. They are doing this to so many people..this is not ok and I’m not letting it go

I had same experience with BLUEACORN. I received sba loan # and status to disbursed current within 6 days from applying. So that alone is only statement Blueacorn made that was true. To bad i never received the funds. Same process as all the others. Same response to support tickets or chat with customer service. Claimed bank rejected, but bank never received anything to reject. May 13,2021 date disbursed per SBA CLS.
Yet it gets to last days possible to fund then after assured repetitively that if i have a SBA loan # i 100% for sure will be funded. After i complain and advise of local news story. I receive there infamous Not Approved No funds no appeal final decision email status update within seconds of receiving my complaint. Now i can access my account in new Forgiveness Portal to have a loan i never received forgiven. I'm national list of a PPP loan borrower and in worst state business wise but now not just financially but emotional put thru emotional roller coaster with these false hopes and promises. Ive contact a couple different SBA Expert but they simple say that Blueacorn cannot cancel loan now because it's been funded theres no taking my name off the list. They advise work it out with lender that they are obligated to fund. But obviously they haven't attempted to do business with this company because they are not professional,legit, or care about there customers.

Hi im extremly concerned months ago I applied fpr the PPP loan through Blueacorn. I was later on excited to receive notification I had been processed and shortly after got notified ofthe SBA Approval and the note through docusign to review sign and return inmediately. Everything seemed as if it was flowing good and all was about to be.completed. I had a minor set back with the financial institution I was banking with at the time which I had applied and found myself having to end relationship with that financial institution and start fresh elsewhere. However that wasnt aproblem and went actually really smooth. However May 26,2021 SBA disbursed funds out for my company and the attempt to direct deposit into the old account was denied by the bank and I was immediately contacted. I then commenced trying to get ahold of someone or get some acknowledgement that my new information had been properly received and updated. I spent weeks after weeks day in and day out writting support tickets and contacting the chat messaging i have allthe transcribing of all my communictionsand support ticket reference numbers to show proof. Finally after almost amonth in a half later of the funds going everywhere and being placed on hold im contacted by Blueacorn rep via email and askedonce again for the new banking info and im asked after already doing so to reverify all my information and im asked to resubmit mysupporting company documents forthe year ihad applied for which all of this was originally submittedat the time i submitted the application for the 1st time and was later approved with. I followed through immediatelyand resubmitted all the same documents and the new banking information and soon after that I receive an email which stated that I DID NOT PASS THE REVERIFICATION PROCESS THAT THEY ARE SORRY BUT THAT THIS WAS A FINAL DECISION.Meanwhile the SBA themselves are telling me and showing me that theydont understand what the confusion is now if I was alteady approved and had already signedthe note andfunds had been disbursed outunder my name my social and currently still appear as if i received them but in actuality i have just been told that no i didnot passthe reverification and now i don't know what to do. I have been speaking with a specialist directly inthe SBA department and she is trying to get thisproperly situated and handled accordingly so that my funds are returned to them and they will handle my funding process. Dont understand why Blueacorn would try and scam or play with ones company or social or personal information but its truly unfair and very unprofessional for oneto trust and deposit all faithin this company andget juggled and played around with like we are some kids orin any conditions tobeplayinggames.its our companies funds yourplayingwith and the possible salvation to aome of our company struggles. PLEASE I PROVIDED EVERYTHING THAT WAS NEEDED RELEASE MY FUNDS TO ME OR BACK TO THE SBA SO THEYCAN HELP ME. THANK YOU

I am at my wits end with this lying, scamming, unprofessional company! They lie and give you either wrong or miss information about everything! I, myself, along with several other hundreds of thousands of people have been waiting for MONTHS on money that we are legally responsible for and BLUE ACORN can’t even begin to tell you where our money is!

Re: it’s asinine to believe that you all can reply to a review but not to a support chat nor email when it’s supposedly your only form of contact! There is no way a process that should’ve taken no longer than 21 days is ongoing for 5 MONTHS!!

Suppose to get it disbursed it’s online showing it is on SBA site, I get info deny when was approved and funding all July come august deny and can do anything about it, I got a email stating that! I’m on the band wagon what we need to do next! They got my money during these hard times and they need to fund people loans we all got scammed by them!

Fraud company we all have

I was approved back in May, signed the promissary note & funds were transferred to my bank in May, due to the coding from Blue Acorn my bank rejected the funds (which I believe was done on purpose). I never heard anything from them, but could see on the Clarion ledger that my loan was approved & funds dispursed. Contacted Blue Acorn and was told they would send the funds out via debit card. Received an email stating they had to reverify my information so I sent in the requested documents. On 08/11/2021 I received an email saying my loan was denied (how can a loan that was approved in May be denied in August) and that the decision was final & it could not be appealed. How can a loan that was already approved and per their website guaranteed to be funded regardless of the time, all of a sudden not approved. My concern isn't the loan, it's my personal and business information that they currently have and if they are scamming business owners out of SBA approved loans, they can use our personal & business information to further their criminal activities. I have closed my business account associated with my PPP loan and have put a block on both my social security # & my EIN number. I have also filed formal complaints with the SBA & The CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) and the Attorney General of my respective state and the DOJ. This is happening to far to many business owners and voicing our frustrations online and giving bad reviews won't stop these scammers from stealing money earmarked for business owners during the times of COVID.

Update 8/17/2021: They are still sending me automated buckshot messages you’re not going to tell me my loan was denied when I have proof that it wasn’t this makes no sense at all then y’all constantly lying and scamming people how the hell did I get denied once I opted in for y’all prepaid card I have a freakin loan number from the sba and all that. Blueacorn got mad and sent out mass denial because people started speaking up. They are scammers DONT EVER APPLY WITH THIS COMPANY. There aren’t any real people everything is automated. And they will most definitely take your money. They have a PPP loan of their own so any extra money that’s coming in to them they keep it. And refuse to send it to you. And you’ll be responsible for paying it back even though you never received a dime. I pray that this company gets shut down and the owner goes to jail for fraud and theft. I’m most definitely going through with a lawsuit wit them. For mental anguish disrespect fraud and theft. This company is a complete joke and will not get away with this.

I was SBA approved back in March signed my documents in April and have a loan number. My funds were rejected by chime bank so 3 months later they send me an email to update banking so I opted for the prepaid card. Received an email yesterday after I contacted the BBB that I was denied. Contacted blueacorn by chat and by email both sent me the same computer generated message that they couldn’t verify my identity. Was even told by a chat agent that if I didn’t receive the funds I don’t have to pay it back. I went to the forgiveness portal and long behold my loan is there waiting for me to apply for forgiveness. All blueacorn told me was the decision was final. I contacted the SBA and they said if it’s been disbursed it was supposed to be sent to me 10 after being disbursed. It’s been disbursed since April Blueacorn and Capital plus financial are both scams. I have a lawyer looking into this. He even said that we may have to take a trip to Texas with the news and police because someone has to answer to where $20,000 went to since I was denied and opted for a prepaid I never got.

I’m honestly not believing that it’s been since may an I’ve yet to see any funds I filled out for the debt card an still nothing this just makes no sense I’ve searched my name I’m on public record as disbursed but I have nothing Blueacorn what’s the issue an tell

I am a small business owner that needed help from the government with a PPP loan. I applied with blueacorn because they advertised on facebook for independent contractors to apply for the PPP loan. I was approved, and given a SBA loan number. I was sent a loan contract to sign from Capital Plus Financial and it was signed by that companies CFO. I sent in every document they requested. SBA website caweb recognized my loan as legit. The problem started when I signed the contract and my bank wasn't one of their partner banks. I did recognize Dave bank as an option since I do have an account with them. Blueacorn knew VERY well Dave Bank does not accept business loan deposits and they will be rejected. I was told I had to wait for the rejection then I could change my banking information to get my approved loan. One month after applying Blueacorn sent my loan deposit to Dave Bank. REJECTED. Three months later I was lied to over and over and told not to worry about my SBA guaranteed loan. I had to jump through many hoops of more identity paperwork and documents they requested. Bottom line is they kept lying to me about my loan and this debit card that I was told was in the mail. I sent in support tickets and every one looked computer generated. No phone number to call. Four months since I signed my loan documents and I got an email that stated i was denied for any number of reasons, NOTHING SPECIFIC, decision final, blocked from blueacorns website. The last hoop I jumped through was choosing an account to wire my loan into. I chose the Dash debit card. What sickened me was Dave Bank was listed again as a option knowing whoever chooses that they will get deposit rejected. Four months of my life being told the money was safe and on its way. Nothing but heartbreaking lies. That company is evil. They have all my personal information. The government has me as received a PPP loan on every reporting site. I got nothing. Blueacorn stole it. These stories are all the same. No PPP loan will come to anyone at this point. The money was stolen and Blueacorn can not and will not deposit a dime now. One min I am told the debit card is coming, next minute I am denied. These people are liars and thieves. I submitted everything and this was heartless of them to do to me and everyone else.
You have to love these generic automated responses from BlueAcorn. Never saying anything or allowing to be corrected. Good news is no fine print will protect your company BlueAcorn against all these legal cases. I got the new PPP regulations because of my loan rejection from BlueAcorn’s partner bank Dave Bank that they knew doesn’t accept business loans. Was that fair? One star review is too much.

Just like everyone i got the email today saying i was And then I checked at capital financial and they say I’m still approved and my first payment date is April 22, 2022. What can we do?? I am not taking this laying down, this is not going to be another L for 2021. They have done this to to many people. Well we about to book a flight and make the news. I got approved for the sba loan through blue acorn. I have a sba approval number and all.. They sent the funds to my bank and the bank sent them back because they deposited the money as a checking, which my account was a savings. The bank said they used the wrong deposit code. So months later they asked me to submit another account and send proof of either my 2019 or 2020 tax return. So I did all of that. And they said my funds would be deposited in so many days but today after I contacted them they sent me an email saying they couldn't get my loan approved. That the decision was final. But on the clarion Ledger website it has my name and how much was disbursed to me. If yall believe yall been scammed go to this website and put yall city and state in. And go down the list looking for your name. When you find it it should say the date approved, how much was disbursed and a undisbursed amount. If it don't have a undisbursed amount that mean your funds were disbursed. If you didn't get it that means you've been scammed by blue acorn. I will be calling the sba tomorrow with my loan approval number. Mississippians search clarion Ledger paycheck protection act for people who got the ppp loan.

Update: I talked to the SBA and it is confirmed that I got the loan and it was disbursed. But the question is who was it disbursed to because I never received any funds. Whoever has been approved for a loan through Blue Acorn and didn't get the money. Contact the PPP forgiveness. And give them your ein number or social security whichever you used to apply for the loan. And they will tell you when your loan was disbur
sed. I was wondering why would they send me an email about loan forgiveness if I didn't get the money. So if I didn't get the money who has it. Like I thought Blue Acorn kept the money. Blue Acorn better count their days. Because this is not the end of this.

Today I got the news that my approved loan was denied after waiting since May 12. I really needed this loan to happen to save my 20 year business. I am deeply saddened by this as its been months of the runaround. What kind of loan Co. doesnt let you speak to someone ? I look like a fool and am embarrassed by this company also Prestamas or however you spell it. All liars that have hurt a lot of people. I will hop in a class action suit along with everything else at my disposal. I refuse to walk away from this treatment. They said I was approved and made me wait till there was no PPP options left , thats what bothers me the most , all the stringing around to the point I couldnt go elsewhere.

I applied for my PPP loan on 4-6-21. I was approved by them and the SBA on 4-9. I have been in the funding stage since, I had sent hundreds of emails with either no response or the same automated one which doesn't come close to answering your question. I had to reverify my info and upload my tax returns, which i did immediatly. I then got notice that I was being funded in 7-10 days. That was 3 weeks ago. Today I get an email stating they can not fund my loan and that it's final and I can do nothing. My loan on the SBA website has said disbursed current for 2 months. Where's my money? I have a legit business and did all they asked for...and have waited almost 5 months to be now told I'm denied? Bull! These people are awful! Not to mention Capital Plus too! You can't reach anyone ever! I'm supposed to just lay down and accept this? I don't think so!

Customer service replies to my emails from a "no-reply" email so I can get anywhere with the information I need. It took them a month to provide me a copy of the loan docs I signed 4 months ago. I can't find my PPP lender Loan # and they are withholding that info from me. So I can't apply fr forgiveness

I have had a horrible experience as everyone. Else.I got SBA approved and I signed on 5/27. My bank CALLED ME to inform me that my account number had three additional numbers in front of my actually correct account number listed so they had to rejected the loan on 6/4 ( Not Blueacorn) I think this was a misprint on their behalf rushing. On 7/7 I received an email to send in my bank statement again( For the 50th time) and my schedule C. I uploaded everything they asked for I also received an email that my funds were being transferred after uploading them. Today 8/11 I spoke with a chat rep that said I’m in funding and should wait. Ok, cool. Why did I just receive a email saying they could not fund my loan at this time then??? The SBA site says my funds have been disbursed so where are my funds? I have a real business. This has to be heard! It’s ridiculous how you guys did us with Small businesses I hope there is something we can do about this!!!!!!! Now they have used our funds that suppose to been set aside so did a Mass denial with all these lies as reason for denial. They are a joke here with them same automatic message when trying to reach them. Definitely recommend NOT TO EVER USE THEM!
