Malicious unwarranted billing
I attempted to sign up to Binge on 23/10/25 and had technical difficulties, which resulted in not ever gaining access to the account. The signup process did kick off monthly billing though, which i wasn't able to cancel as i didn't have an actual account, and took three months for their technical support to resolve. They refused to refund the payments. I'm referring it to the ACCC. They're a technology company -- they can hardly claim it's not their fault when their online subscription page mistakenly starts billing you! Very disappointed and keen to warn others off dealing with them.

They tried to send me down a rabbit Warren of lengthy rectification processes. Whe. I refused citing other streaming devices wiring straight away they didn’t offer a refund. Seems to me that they entrap ppl for a month, take there money and offer nothing it o return. Seems deliberate which, given the service doesn’t work they have me paying $$ for nothing.

Sneaky onboarding UX which takes advantage of the free offer without explicitly telling of the coming charges. Do better please. This sort of of revenue raising tricks create crappy brands and leave potential customers with a poor taste in their mouth. Beware!

But at $22 a month it’s way better than spending way more $$$$$ for Foxtel via IQ or Foxtel Now

DO NOT get this streaming service! once you start your subscription its almost impossible to cancel it, it states that there should be a cancel option after your prompted to the hubble page and there is not and the information that it gives you to cancel is completely incorrect. I now have had to contact customer support to cancel my subscription that must be done via hubble not binge itself, like wtf

I received a promotional email from Binge offering a few months for $5. I subscribed to redeem the offer, but to my surprise, I was charged $19 instead. Their customer service was no help - no refund, no compensation.
Excuse me, but this feels like stealing.

Triple check your account was cancelled
Tried out binge for the first time. Wasn't overly into the selection available. Cancelled the subscription, well so i thought. Got charged, thought I stuffed up and tried to cancel again. The subscription was not actually staying cancelled even after confirming it. So I reached out to customer service and they put in a refund request which was rejected because it's a self managed account and they don't do refunds. I counter argued there is a technical issue because the only the subscription cancelled was through a consultant. Anyway no outcome and doesn't seem they are surprised or cared that the account didn't suspend through their portal. Seems like a dodgy system...

0.1 star if I can rate it. Absolutely a scam business, deceptive cancellation user interface which make you believe you cancelled but you are not as there is a final confirmation button hidden in a colorful button down below. I believe countless people are scammed by this design and they refused to refund because it is still active and it works well. People should fill a class action and make this company broke for intentionally misleading consumers.

Absolutely honest down to earth site full of great shows and movies
I started off using Binge 19 dollar plan for the free week. Then I switched to their 10 dollar plan with ads.
I have to say they are not like YouTube ads every 3 minutes, these guys are a wonderful example of a dedicated streaming service. Their ads are 3 ads at the beginning of the show and that's it. If you are watching a series you get 3 ads at the beginning of every episode and no more until the next episode. I do not know how long it will stay like this but I shall remain on the 10 dollar plan for as long as the situation lasts.
They have the best shows, the best movies and for a measly 10 dollars who can resist them. Give them a go you will not be disappointed, the 10 dollar only allows for one user and sd definition, but who cares ads x3 at the beginning and I think maybe a few ads during a movie but I cannot be certain of that. They are top draw people in my eyes. A wonderful company who are very reasonable to their customers. I found it best to sign up on my phone, it was an easy set up using my Android phone. Give them a go you will be impressed and certainly not disappointed. If you want 2 devices and hd definition it's only 9 dollars more, but you can change it during a cycle. I have nothing but praise for this company.

Wanted to watch hbo (the only good content) so gave them another chance.
Shocking, ads every 5 minutes and no hbo. Constant buffering (none of my other streaming or gaming buffers) customer service is awful.don't waste your money.
False Advertising
Wanted to watch a TV series. I googled it and everywhere it shows that the show is on Binge. I subscribed, but it's not on there. I contacted the team and they would not refund and cancel my subscription which was only a about 20 min old. Poor service from them.

I have / supposedly a binge account which l am paying for but can not access. I try to access but l am denied access via logging in to my account and access to the binge website. It comes up with access denied.
Bad customer service
Error on website led to me being charged when I was advised I wouldn’t be. I contacted support and they dismissed my concerns regarding the website issue, they then canceled my subscription without asking me which isn’t what I wanted.
