The Benenden Health GP was great
The Benenden Health GP was easy and quick to engage through the app - I could even choose an apt to suit - I was contacted promptly - the Doctor was professional, friendly and helpful. Her advice helped me gain swift access to a 2-week NHS pathway for an urgent matter. I got seen within 2 days and my health fears were allayed very quickly. This alone was 100% worth my annual subscription. So glad I now have this cover for my hubby and myself - especially given we are 60-ish and things can go wrong with our bods !!!

I became very despondent with Benenden…
I became very despondent with Benenden Health due to the times that I visited only to be told they won't do anything to help my situation. In the end, after I attended for having a very painful knee joint, after having an MRI I was told that they could either do key surgery, which would not be sufficient to deal with the problem, or a complete knee replacement, which was deemed overkill. Also at the age of 71, that I was too young!! I asked the consultant what he was prepared to do and he said nothing! I just felt they were interested in taking my money, but not in doing anything meaningful. A year later I went through the slow process of getting my doctor to write a letter for referral, which took 2 weeks to get, only to be told by the Benenden receptionist, that I could not discuss an injury that had been previously looked at for 2 years!
Further to my review and the response from Benenden Health.
Thank you to them for their offer, but I had already spoken to the Member Services Team when I stopped my membership and they offered for me to pay for further treatment, which summed it up entirely for me. No thanks, I'm glad I left.

Benenden The only cover you need.
I was a member of Benenden for many years, but never needed there help and support until recently. For me it was an insurance policy I had tucked away in my back pocket for myself and my partner.Recently I needed there help they were incredibly quick and professional in arranging and authorising my procedure and that of my partner who I had only recently added some 8 months ago.If you don’t seriously look at the help Benenden can offer you or your family for a negligible fee. Your crazy.
