I have had the most amazing experience with American Logo Designers..nothing like “who ever” this person is who wrote these awful untrue things ...He even called out David Brown and he has been working on my brand for over 2 months and I can truly say he has exceeded my expectations. (Trust me when I say I am hard to please). David has been prompt, attentive, and very creative with logo designs. In my opinion you would be hard pressed for to find someone better to be your person . You should really take your business to American Logo Designers and David Brown and his team because they are trust worthy and the hardest working team out there. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Today is 10/15/2020 STOP reporting my review American Logo Designers!
I ONLY GAVE IT 1 STAR BECAUSE I COULDN’T LEAVE IT BLANK. WHEN I TELL YOU THE SCAM AND FRAUD PEOPLE THAT THIS COMPANY HAVE. I PAID FOR A LOGO FOR $139 and A WEBSITE FOR $250. WELL I CAN’T GET IN CONTACT WITH THE MANAGER. THE PERSON I WAS DEALING WITH IS ERIC MURPHY, JACK BROWN & DAVID BROWN. I ALSO FOUND SOMEONE ON FACEBOOK THAT’S HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. SHE WANTS HER MONEY BACK. SO TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE DON’T BELIEVE THAT AMERICAN LOGO DESIGNER HAS 5 STARS. IT’S A SCAM, A FRAUD! AND MY NAME IS DARNELL BROWN AND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE!

Worst, most unethical company ever. After we paid for our package, we were contacted by Jordan Chase who, initially, we were quite happy with. The logos he provided us with were awesome. Shortly after, he began an attempt to upsell us on services, basically stating that without a vector file (which would cost us about $340 MORE) our logos would be useless. However in our package, we had included ALL files, including the AI (which is in fact a vector). When we politely declined, he became really unprofessional and difficult to work with. He claimed he would not give us what we paid for. We continued to be patient because my husband really liked the logo and felt that we would have to get what we paid for because that's how it works, right? Jordan became increasingly difficult and would often play dumb like he didn't know what we were talking about. It would take several days to a week for him to give us the changes we asked for. And then after settling on the concept we liked, he became difficult about providing the files we paid for.
Anyway, eventually after emailing him several times the copy of our actual invoice, he sent the files. However, we have yet to get our "copyright" paperwork... we have asked and have heard nothing back from him. On multiple occasions we have tried to speak with a supervisor and have been given a name and time they would contact us (which seems legit, right?) but they have never contacted us.
At this point, we have not received all we have paid for. I don't know if the rudeness and unprofessional attitude is worth the trouble for a good logo. Especially since we paid for other things too.
Use them at your own risk.

Sharing my experience with this company as I think people should fully avoid this company for any design work. My issue is primarily around timing and the ownerships and “rights” of use of designs (although there are some concerns about the originality of the designs they make – I will put a foot note at the bottom)

We asked American logo to create a Logo, stationary design, and social media banners and as such selected the appropriate package they offer ($200). Work started and we came to a semi final version of the logo, at which point I received a call from the project manager, he began right of the bat trying to up sell a website design service and would not take hints we are not interested, once we clearly declined stating we are not interested the tone completely shifted, the project manager began by stating we will not be the owners of the work and will only have limited “rights of use” the only way around this was to pay an additional $500 to have complete ownership and right of use.

We went back and forth on this topic and what options we have in an increasingly combative conversation, they would not confirm what usage rights we actually would have of the logo and for what duration we would be able to use the logo, unless we paid the additional $500. The project manager asked multiple times for my credit card information over the phone, which I obviously declined to give. The called ended with the project manager stating that they will not release any final works until we pay the additional $500, they subsequently sent me a payment link via they project portal, (it was not an itemized invoice, just simply $500 amount).

Needless to say we did not receive any final versions of the logo, we missed our deadlines and had to submit our business plans etc. without out a logo. Once I asked for a refund 2 days later they said I am not eligible, and they then sent a “final” version of the logo – which was an earlier version (not the revisions we agreed), they then closed the project. We also did not receive any stationary design, or social media banner (as per our package) – but now it really doesn’t matter as we missed our deadline anyway.

The main point in all of this is they claim in the terms and condition that the client(you) will get full ownership of the designs, but this is not true unless you pay a minimum of $500 to get this ownership. What they give you is a limited “rights of use” for the designs (while they keep ownership), they give you no documentation on how long this lasts and what conditions. When I discussed with the project manager and asked “what if tomorrow you decide to no longer give me permission to use the logos and keep charging me to used it?” he audibly laughed and said ‘we won’t do that” – which basically means if your business is success and they want to further monetize the design, they can come to you and ask for more money, and you will be left with a choice to either pay or rebrand your business.

Review the TC on their website, it clearly states you will be owner of the design, this is not the case... they will not give you this ownership unless you pay an additional $500. you actually only have limited rights to use the logo at their discretion, and there is no documentation just a payment link that doesn’t describe what your actually paying for.

my recommendation would be to find a freelance designer through Fiverr and have a simple contract that states it’s a “commissioned work” and you are the owner of the work and you will not have to mess around with a company like American logo.

Please also read the other negative reviews (I wish I had), the above behavior seems to be very common. I wonder how many people just pay because they feel they don’t have a choice. The solution is to avoid this company totally.

Lastly, I mentioned their work not being original, as you might image this situation was frustrating so I investigated all aspects, I researched the logo “they created” and found 70-80% stock image versions of the logo they created on the 4th page on google image searches, they simply changed colors, a bit of the orientation and size…. I don’t know if they do this for everyone but it worth checking into if you’ve used American logo services.

I work with a guy name Jordan to do a logo for my business I literally showed them what it was I wanted and the color scheme after a few try’s he came back with one I decided on I told him for the $300 plus dollars I spent I’ll take that one. My next step was to get it trademarked they tried to charge me some ridiculous price for a lifetime registration I told them no I would do it myself they told me that I don’t own the logo and would have to pay for them to do the trademark for me because they have some type of deal with the trademark company I finally agreed to pay a additional $225 for them to file it for I finally got the certificate of registration back as a copyright not a trademark and low and behold I noticed under RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS is the name of the scammer Jordan Chase With the address 45333 Fremont Blvd Ste 5 Fremont, Ca 94538 I look this address up and I don’t see there store name they are SCAMMERS FRAUDS and will take your money if you not careful.

Well I started business with American Logo via a simple phone call and as time passes by I got assigned to Melvin and I have been working with him ever since. He has been really good in what he does and always comes to the table with ideas that has always worked better in my favor , that is to say he really looks out for his client and what’s best for them . Thanks to him !!!

Amazing company. They work within your budget and keep you informed every step of the way. Will definitely be back with more projects.

I been dealing with these people for 6 moths and this is the result:
Logo: pour design and can't use it, it's a hostage to negotiate a very expensive price to own it.
Website: Pour design, after 6 months of them trying to up sale me more stuff they upload a very pour product and try to charge more money to use it.
Hosting: I hire other company to fix the website they design for me to fix all the mistakes they made when it was uploaded to the web, but they don't want me to have the login credentials arguing that even if I payed for the web and the hosting the website is not my and i need to pay more money to access it.
This people will use Yandex for everything they do, this is a Russian company that is not approved to work in the US or West Europe.
Update:
I received a call from them after i posted this review, they trying to make it right, i have the rights for the Logo and the login for the website, i can see that they trying to make it right.
I loose allot of money but at least some things are getting corrected.
