I would say the service is appalling but that would require a member of staff to acknowledge an email. Booked a holiday through alpha rooms and paid in full up front last August only to arrive and discover the hotel we had booked had been closed since March. The hotel owner had explained they had contacted Alpharooms to reject the booking and that they were fully aware they were closed but Alpharooms had failed to contact us and taken payment anyway. As a result we had to stay in another town 10 miles away and had additional travel expenses travelling to our desired location. I've been contacting Alpharooms via email since last September and I am yet to receive even a reply even to advise that someone will look into my query. I've tried calling on numerous occasions only to be told that a member of their customer service team can only resolve the issue via email. I fully understand how difficult the past two years have been on the travel industry and can empathise with how this has affected staffing levels however it is not acceptable to ignore a customer for an entire year. I receive at least two automated promotional emails from alpha rooms on a weekly basis so the company is clearly still in business. I have also noticed that previous bad reviews have been deleted from other customers so I am very sceptical of how this trust pilot page is managed. If you look on their Facebook page it is also flooded with details of people's negative experiences. My advice to anyone considering using this company is to avoid, stick to the trusted providers. If there is a problem which the company is responsible for, don't hold your breath waiting for someone to help. The company seems to prioritise cheap sales and spend or care very little on the customer experience and ensuring they can provide a dedicated team to resolve the simplest of issues.

Have used alpharooms a few times, their service has always been great. Special thanks to Nancy for helping us on latest trip. Highly recommend

Do not trust v this robing thieving company. If unsure join the alpharooms no refund support group on fb...3000 members whos refund that they are entitled to are being b refused. 100s of People who used a credit note to book another holiday only to show up in a foreign country to be told it was cancelled the day before and they have had to fork out again. When you ring, their staff tell blatant lies. They don't reply to emails Look at the recent 5 star reviews- all by people who have posted multiple 5 star reviews. Alpharooms, if you are gonna post fake reviews at least make it look realistic.

Alpharooms also trade as teletext holidays and come under the umbrella of Truly holidays. They appear to offer great deals, however they cancel accommodation without telling you, constantly tell blatant lies, drag their heels on answering queries. Force customers to threaten court action to obtain refunds for cancelled holidays.
Do not book with this company. I and many others regret doing so and won’t ever again.

Absolute scammers! Do not book through them, they will ruin your holidays and you will never see your money again.

Please be aware this company is getting good reviews only because when people are booking holidays they are begging about this comments, once when you book holidays with them you lost. 1,5 years trying to get refund from them and everything what they say doesnt work . Please do not book with them, if you dont want to loose money.

The man I was dealing with was called Ryder and ever so helpful. He went beyond the call of duty to help me.

Worse experience Ive had with a travel company. Cancelled my booking wihtout telling me 3 days before departure. Now want more money to proceed. Spoke to 4 different departmartments for a refund. Still nobody knows who I need to speak to. Finally after 50 mins a promise that original booking is back on. Travelling in 1 day, very stressfull and anxious this is going to happen. lets see..Still on going

We have booked accommodation with alpharooms in may 2021 for 7 days for July 2021. When arriving at the hotel there was no reservation under our name. We had to pay for the hotel again. Can not contact alpahrooms. No refund was issued

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES book a holiday with this company!!!. You will never get to that holiday and you will never see your money again.
Still waiting for a refund from January 2020.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR HOLIDAY WITH THIS COMPANY. They do not give refunds and also you may arrive at ur destination only to realize that ur holiday is not paid for by Alpha. NEVER BOOK WITH THESE THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN.

Don’t book with this company, arrived in London for the weekend to discover our rooms had been cancelled due to Alpharooms had not paid. Contacted them to be told they had lost the contract and I would receive a refund straight away. Hence I’m still waiting, save yourself the grief and book direct.

Booked a hotel though alpha rooms and when I got to the hotel there was no reservation. Called them and they offered 0 assistance in helping us. 0/10 will never book again

I cant imagine how any review of alpharooms would be anything other than 1 star. Do some due diligence people. The business model of alphrooms is to take your money, not provide a service and do anything they can to keep your money. Its a scam. Stay well clear.

Nancy abs Martin were amazing

I was panicked as the hotel dates had to change and I was scared I would loss my money but Nancy sorted it all out quickly and efficiently. Martin helped me transfer my credit to a new hotel. Great service around.
I will be using the service again as a result.

I would give them a minus if I could… nothing short of scammers.. keep giving me different excuses as to why they wot refund me money, my booking was for June 2020, so frustrating! I will NEVER deal with them once I resolve my issue!
