TV signal was lost suddenly on 9 December 2021. I retuned over & over & then started to research why the signal would go so suddenly when it had been perfect.
I learned about some recent transmitter issues & movement of Freeview to new channels/frequencies due to 5G for mobile ‘phone transmissions.
I called Freeview & was told there are no issues & no problem with Winter Hill transmitter.
I started watching TV with BBC iplayer & intermittently tried retuning the TV to see if the Freeview signal had returned.
Finally, I read that some aerials, if near to 5G masts (there is one close by) will have to be replaced in order to receive transmissions on the new frequencies.
Gaz came this morning from Aerialcare UK/Wudhus. He tested the signal & advised strength & quality of the signal I could get with the appropriate aerial. He contacted his office & I had a call from his colleague to give me 3 quotations for basic, mid-range & high gain aerials. Gaz advised the mid-range would work well for my location so I gave the OK to install a new aerial.
Gaz had to put the aerial higher up in the loft rafters & slightly change the direction it’s pointing. Doing this achieved 99% + re strength & quality.
Happy days, TV signal restored!
Gaz was very polite & professional & explained to me what he was doing in testing for the signal, what results he was looking for & what he thought could be achieved.
Gaz arrived at the time I had been advised & completed the work in a timely way, finishing with my being able to pay with my credit card.
Great job done professionally, efficiently & well!

Avoid this company at all costs. Promises made and then broken, no-one accountable, appointments made and then not kept. They call themselves a family business but you never speak to the same person more than once. No one takes responsibility for sorting out the problem. A classic case of how NOT to run a business. Terrible, terrible service and we are amazed that they are still in business.

I booked a visit to help my 90 year mother with an aerial problem. I was told there was a £14.95 call out fee and if a repair was needed I would be quoted and the call out fee would be deducted from the bill. The engineer came out and my mum had forgotten to press a button on her remote so no repair was needed. The engineer charged my mum £50 for a 2 minute job in helping my mum. Don't use this company. What a rip off!!!!

Very poor service, called today for engineer to come sort my TV aerial out was told engineer would call 1 hour before arrival by 3pm no call so called company was told engineer on another job but they work till 6pm then just after 4.30pm received message from engineer saying he was unable to contact me and to call them to rearrange but hadn't even bothered calling me so just cancelled as they wasted all my time today waiting in when I could have given my business to someone else and now left with no TV for another night

Awful - booked a same day engineer on Wednesday when our aerial blew down. Everyday for the next 5 days I was told they were coming, only to be called at the end of the day to be told they couldn’t fit us in and we had been bumped to tomorrow. Got bored of being told that everyone else’s job was more important than ours and booked a different company who actually came when they said they would. Don’t bother calling these guys if you actually want someone to come out and fix your aerial.

Called the company around 9.30, as the property I had just moved into had a faulty aerial socket. They offered a same day appointment and called back an hour or so later to say the engineer was on the way.
Steve arrived and diagnosed the fault within minutes.
Quoted a fair price to make up a new lead, retune the BT box and TV also connect the sound bar.
Steve’s ability made it all look simply.
Well done Steve, a credit to to his company.

Excellent , professional and quick service. TV wall mounting was done same day, within few hours from my call. Engineer Lee was extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend and use again.
