A very swift and efficient process. The team at Able Surveyors communicated with me transparently during the process and were happy to address any follow-up queries I had. The quality of the report and the clarity around what actions needed to be taken off the back of it was also very helpful in allowing my flat purchase to progress. Very thorough report with lots of useful info being highlighted on the property I am planning to buy. The report was actually produced the next day after the survey although it was previously said it was going to take up to 4 business days. This means I don't have to wait until next week to action some of the points being highlighted. Highly recommended.

We got quotes from a lot of different surveyors and asked each one for example reports. Able’s stood out immediately. It was really thorough and detailed, but also included helpful context, ballpark cost estimates, and sensible suggestions, which none of the others did (or charged extra for). We actually weren’t planning to go for the cheapest quote, but Able happened to be the most affordable and the most impressive, so it was an easy decision.

Booking online was super simple, no back and forth, no phone calls, just smooth and straightforward. On the day of the first survey, the seller wasn’t in, but Able let us know right away and rebooked very quickly, even though we knew they were busy at the time. When the survey did go ahead, it was clear a lot of care had gone into it. Ross spent a good amount of time at the property, flagged key issues, and gave really useful clarity on what was urgent, what might cost what, and where we might want to dig a bit deeper.

We’d absolutely recommend Able Surveyors. Ross did a fantastic job and we now feel much more confident about the purchase. We know where the issues are, how serious they are, how much to budget, and where to start. Really pleased with the whole experience.

My basement was always damp. Had 3 companies try to sell me expensive solutions that didn't work. These guys actually found the real problem! Used proper equipment, not just poking at walls. Turned out to be a drainage issue outside, not rising damp like everyone said. Fixed it based on their advice and now it's completely dry. Should've called them first!

Recently had a Level 3 Survey completed and was thoroughly impressed with the entire process. From start to finish, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. The quote was prepared promptly, and the survey was scheduled quickly to accommodate the existing owners. I received the final report within 24 hours - it was detailed, thorough, and clearly explained. What really stood out was the follow-up courtesy call with Dean, the surveyor, who took the time to answer my questions with confidence and expertise. Absolutely top-notch service, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Really impressive comprehensive service for Level 2 survey. Great and swift communication from start to finish.
Ross got in touch almost immediately after initial telephone contact. I asked for a sample survey which I got without hesitation. I booked and paid online and got an estimated date of survey and the opportunity to express the areas of which may be of most concern to me.
Shortly after an appointment was booked to do the survey (all comms directly with the estate agent - vendor) and the next thing I knew, I got a confirmed date.

Survey was carried out on the specified day and by evening I got a summary report with promise of a full report within 3 days but to my pleasant surprise, it came the following day. And in all honesty, the summary report told me all I needed to know but the full report made it much clearer and suitable to just pass on to my solicitor (i.e. after a no-fuss telephone conversation which I asked for - I sent an email and got a call from Ross in less than 2 hours after it was sent.) So we had a chat about the report and I am a very happy chappy as an outcome.

All in all, it was a job well done and I recommend Able Surveyors to anyone who may require their services.
