The process is so slow and confusing for something that should feel like a walk in the woods. You are late, but you are receiving an automated message saying that if you do not hear from Optima, it means you are on track.
The worst experience I’ve had in a long time, and we’re talking about solicitor services.

Very quick and efficient online portal. Tracker visual was very helpful for knowing latest updates. Always got a response to messages within 24 hours. On occasions when I needed to talk to an advisor this was also fairly easy and always helpful. I would recommend and I would use again!

very surprised to see all the good reviews, definitely not my experience Very slow to respond and cost me hundreds of pounds in extra payments due to this. The re-mortgage process took almost 4 months which is both totally unnecessary and unacceptable.

STRESSFUL! AVOID!
This company does not even deserve 1 star. AVOID THIS AT ALL COST. Remortgage delay for almost 2 months now and still didn't get any update. I don't know how long will it take for them to complete my remortgage: how many weeks, months or years!!! I need to constantly call almost everyday, and just receiving 1 answer: they will escalate. The progress is very slow, very difficult to get a proper response, both in their portal and phone call. Dealing with Optima is so STRESSFUL and FRUSTRATING, causing a lot of anxiety. Now my RICS valuation is expiring and I have to extend this, I am also paying a lot of interest from my previous mortgage which has already expired, and will be paying interest with HTB, which will cost me a lot of money. This is all because of the very LONG delay, without any update given. If I only knew this will happen, I could've just use another company. I never had problems with mortgage before. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.

Online portal works ok, responses on validation of documents or responses to mails take a few days. If you ask for completion dates you have to just wait for your turn and you will get generic holding emails. Not rubbish, high volume service provider that will get it done .. eventually

If your bank is forcing you to use that incompetent company, run away!
I'm not gonna say anything new then other people already said. 1 star reviews is way to much! Simple proces took them 6 months, coused a lot of stress and money loss. They not responding to emails. I dont know how companies like this can even exist. AVOID that company as they have nothing common with profesionalsm.
