Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. We had to use these for our mortgage with Virgin and it was worst experience. Non stop chasing for documents, letters and process isn't easy. I've re-mortgaged many of times and this process seemed very strange and long winded. Also to top it off they've charged up £140 for a service which is meant to be free. RIP OFF, AVOID.

I am currently using Optima Legal Poor Service
I am currently using Optima Legal for a remortgage and unfortunately the experience has been very disappointing.
Last week we were informed that everything was ready for completion and that only a small piece of information was required from another conveyancing solicitor acting on our behalf. That information was provided promptly, but Optima initially claimed they had not received it despite clear evidence that it had been sent. As a result, the completion has now been pushed back by another week.
I have also been trying to contact the completion team, but my requests for a call back have so far not been responded to.
Communication has been poor and there appears to be a lack of coordination internally. For what should be a straightforward remortgage, the process has been unnecessarily delayed.
Their call system is also confusing. The automated system advertises Voice ID enrolment, but when speaking to staff they are unable to activate it.
I have requested to raise a formal complaint and have also contacted the lender who instructed Optima. Based on my experience so far, the level of service and professionalism has been disappointing.
