I am very happy, with the work done by 1st call, installer. He was couteous, prompt, and did a good job, of installing 4 windows and some rectyfying work. He left , having tidied working area.

I have used 1st Glass on two occasions. The first time was last year when I needed to have my old conservatory windows reglazed. I'd received various quotations but the friendly service, competetive pricing, along with good quality materials & their expertese, influenced my decision to choose 1st Glass.
My 'old' conservatory doesn't have standard sized windows or doors, so everything had to be made and fitted to precision. After seeing how good my windows were last year, I requested a quote for my patio doors, knowing I'd need to save up with a view to replacing them this year. I kept the paperwork so it was easy to contact 1st Glass this year. They were so helpful and did their very best to honour their previous quote, even though materials had soared in price since last year. They revisited my property to carry out another survey and separate measuring assessment, so I knew the job was being done right. They'd followed that procedure when reglazing my windows. My unusually sized patio doors were made with exactly the finish and furniture I'd requested, and yesterday Chris, Anthony and Alex not only delivered a superb fitting service but a bit of friendly and reassuring banter too. 😀 They worked well together, and quickly making sure they cleared and tidied away after the job was finished. They were relaxed & approachable which allowed me to watch how they worked and ask any questions I may have had. Thereafter, I know that if I have any queries at all I can quickly call 1st Glass anytime. That's a must for a lady living alone. Shame I don't have any other glazing needs for the time being. Excellent service from start to finish. The engineer was friendly, professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He repaired the hinge and realigned my patio door so it opens and closes properly again, and also replaced the mechanism on my kitchen window which had stopped opening. Everything was completed to a high standard and the difference is noticeable straight away. Very pleased with the work and the service provided. Would happily recommend 1st Call Repair.

Replacement glass in upvc windows fitted in a timely and efficient manner.

We had six windows that were misting up and when I looked up what to do I was inundated with companies. I chose 1st Call because they were family run and seemed local you can never tell these days but actually they were. From the first visit to advise and quote I thought they were reasonable and trustworthy. They measured up accurately, kept in touch throughout and kept time. Did an excellent job I would certainly recommend them and use them again. Many thanks Derrick Taylor.

Excellent customer service from 1st call. We had someone to give us a quote and take measurements and the work was completed the week after. We had new hinges fitted to two windows and also new glass fitted in two windows where the seals had broke. The price they quoted was very acceptable and the work is also covered for 5 year. The guy who came to do the job cleared everything up and left things spotless. Can highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

Absolutely DO NOT USE, DO NOT TRUST, this is a cowboy firm! We booked to have all our windows taken out and resealed, trickle vents fitted, handles replaced, and one pane of glass replaced. Firstly we were booked on May Day bank holiday, and nobody turned up as apparently the sales person who did the measuring and took our money wasn’t the person who was meant to measure. So they sent a surveyor to take proper measurements and booked us in for the spring bank holiday which is today. One man in a van has turned up and said he can’t do the job because scaffolding is apparently required (which it isn’t!), and we haven’t been quoted for that. He didn’t bring any new handles with him, and he apparently can’t even replace the 1 measly window pane because he doesn’t have the right tools with him!!! Complete scam of a company, we’re determined to get our deposit back and I will be writing to the local council to ensure these thieving cowboys get investigated. 40 years experience my arse!

I can see you’ve done this to many other people and you’ve replied with the same complete lack of accountability and downright lies aswell! 1) Scaffolding is not required for our bathroom window, we’ve already spoken to another company who laughed at your suggestion of this, 2) Scaffolding was never mentioned even once after TWO different people came to our property, 3) yes all new handles were agreed because I was there when my partner called you to add them on and you said handles were £50 each, 4) my partner did not say he was an ex fitter he said he had some prior experience in assembling window frames during manufacture, 5) after the absolute farce you’ve put us through how can you expect us to trust you to come back a THIRD time and actually do the job properly?! Your fitter was absolutely mortified today, he couldn’t say enough how embarrassed he was at how this job had been handled, and we certainly agree. You have wasted everyone’s bank holiday not once but twice. Lastly, the fitter couldn’t even replace the pane in the ground floor kitchen window because he didn’t have the correct bracket for the window frame, he was going to put the pane in there and leave it unsecured! He said your company only really deals with new windows, which is pathetic tbh. He also said he’d only been booked in for 2 hours to do 7 windows all by himself, what an absolute joke, it would be an all day job to do RIGHT and take more than one person! You should be prepared for an array of window frames, especially considering two people have visited the property and physically seen that they’re standard upvc albeit older ones. It’s not like they’re listed building windows, it’s a standard end terrace!

Folk who read reviews are not daft and they’ll see right through your excuses.

I have 2 windows and 1 DG pane in my conservatory replaced. Reasonable price and replacement was carried out to a great standard, cleaned up afterwards and I’m really pleased with the results. I highly recommend this company

1st call were excellent and honest. They responded quickly to my enquiry and attended timely. The engineer who completed my repairs was polite and cleaned up after himself. I would use 1st call in the future.

Although the first booked appointment had to be cancelled, I was kept informed and an alternative quickly arranged.
The engineer arrived on time, was very pleasant and did a good job, leaving no mess - not even a smudged fingerprint.
A few days after the work had been completed, Aaron, the owner, phoned to check that the work had been completed to my satisfaction, which, of course, it had.

Very happy with the 2 guys that fitted my glass, cleaned up great, very friendly, couldn't do enough, highly recommend.

I saw the advert for them on social media. First a man came out to measure and discuss the price. The next man came to measure the thickness of the glass the the engineer came to fit my 3 replacement windows. Each person that came out was polite and professional . The fitting of my new windows was so quick with no mess left and he took my old ones away. I would highly recommend this company 100% and will use them again myself. I’m absolutely delighted.

Excellent service. From the first phone call right through to me paying the balance on completion. Polite, no pushy sales, offered great discounts the more you buy. I even gave the details to my sister who was impressed with the speed and entire house was done. Fully cleaned up afterwards. I just wish every purchase would come with such a service.

I called them because 3 of my windows had water inside and needed to sort them out. They came very quick, gave me the options I had and decided to replace the window panel instead of having to do the full window frames who sabed me s fortune. They completed the job with high quality and fair price. All the team from the office, surveyors to the person who came to do the job have been honest, kind and gave me the confidence that I was in good hands.
