Stay away from this company

Where do i start! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I arrived in Italy Wednesday lunchtime and flew back to the UK Thursday lunchtime. My 24 hours in Italy was pure torture.
I arrived at the airport in Italy and after over half an hour of searching I eventually found a man standing in the corner with a tiny piece of paper in his hand with Go Singles on it, he also spoke no English at all so not a great start. I could have been stood there for hours.
The guy drove very erratic and the drive to the hotel was nerve racking to say the least. At the hotel he handed me a piece of paper which stated the meet and greet would be at 3pm.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist said here was no one here to greet me and I would have to now wait until 5pm for the rep.
I went to room, the facilities were extremely poor (couldn't even make a drink), I had two single beds pushed together so not comfortable, there were no English channels on tv at all.
The room was just not up to standard, the chair had no padding so too uncomfortable to sit on. The blankets on the bed had certainly seen better days and they were very scratchy and uncomfortable. The red carpet in the room had white stains on and didn’t look pleasant at all. Everything was really dated. Certainly not an upgrade from what we were initially promised!
The bar was absolutely tiny and no choices of beers, only one beer of which he only had 4 bottles of. I have never experienced anything like this ever!
I sat down with the rep and told him of my concerns which he wrote down , I told him I would be leaving the following morning, to which he said I don’t blame you.
All excursions started at 8 so would mean getting up at 6 on morning, not ideal when you are on holiday.
The pool was dirty and needed cleaning, this seemed to attract the mosquitos and the lady who sat by pool for half an hour got bitten numerous times which meant that even sitting out by the pool wasn’t an option.
The food….. well, there was no real choice, no buffet to select from, no fresh fruit out and no bread selection.
I got a choice of 6 options on a card on the table. I opted for linguine (wish i could attach the picture), the langoustine was rotten! I asked for it to be changed and it seemed they removed the langoustine and brought back the same plate, I was ill all night and couldn’t keep off the toilet.
I then found out there was only 3 people on this holiday including myself and one wasn’t going on the excursions. The idea to go with yourselves was that there were many single travellers to not be on my own.

Response from go Singles - in a nutshell your choice to leave early and should have spoke to rep before leaving - i did this but was told - I don't blame you!
No compensation, no vouchers no gesture of good will!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that your short stay in Italy did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond and clarify the situation.

Firstly, we would like to confirm that you were met on arrival by our pre-arranged transfer, and the driver was present as scheduled.

Regarding the hotel, the accommodation provided was the Tamerici Principe, a locally rated 4-star property operating to Italian tourism standards. The hotel is traditional in style rather than modern, which is clearly reflected in our product descriptions. While we regret that the décor and facilities were not to your personal taste, the hotel remained fully operational and as contracted.

With respect to the welcome meeting, our representative arrived as scheduled. Upon speaking with him, you raised several concerns and advised that you intended to leave the following morning. At no point were GoSingles or our representative asked to arrange an alternative solution, hotel move, or immediate intervention. The decision to depart early was made independently and voluntarily.

For clarity, leaving the holiday early without allowing us the opportunity to resolve issues does constitute voluntary curtailment, which is clearly outlined in our booking terms and conditions. Had we been contacted before your departure, we would have actively worked to resolve matters on the ground.

On the subject of excursions, early starts were clearly stated in the itinerary and are standard for sightseeing programmes to maximise the day. These were not mandatory, and guests were free to opt out.

We are sorry to hear that you felt unwell during your stay. While we cannot medically determine the cause, all food service is provided by licensed suppliers and subject to local hygiene regulations.

Finally, we would like to address the expectation regarding our holidays. GoSingles holidays are social group holidays, not dating or matchmaking services; group dynamics, ages and participation in excursions can never be guaranteed.

We understand that this experience was disappointing for you, and we regret that it did not align with what you had hoped for.

I received the bag I bought for my…

I received the bag I bought for my daughter no tags at all no box or any sign of authenticity at all . I Returned the bag for these reasons , now they are saying there will be no refund as there were no tags returned . This is unbelievable please stay away from this company . Gary Johnson M.D

As we buy all of our stock from the general public, we’re sadly unable to guarantee that an item will come with any of its original packaging / accessories, however we will always list what an item comes with in our product description.

On this occasion I can see that our team only listed this item as coming with one of our own branded Luxe Collective Fashion Dustbags, so we really cannot apologise enough if this process was not made clear to you prior to purchase.

That said, we'd like to assure you that regardless of packaging, every item we receive and sell goes through a rigorous authentication process.

Our team of expert authenticators thoroughly examines key details like hardware, materials, zippers, stitching, and typography before attaching a 'tag of authenticity' to each item. All of our items then get photographed with this tag before being uploaded to our website.

Despite this, we understand that on this occasion you decided to return the item back to our HQ, which you were of course more than welcome to do. However, upon receiving and inspecting your return, our team noticed that the item did not have its 'tag of authenticity' still attached.

As mentioned on our website: "returned products must be returned in the same condition as sent out, unworn and with all tags still attached & in the original packaging. Any item that doesn’t meet the criteria set out in the return policy will be rejected and returned to the sender".

For this reason, on this occasion we were sadly unable to accept your item back for return. We're so sorry about this and for any disappointment caused, however we hope you can understand our reasoning. In line with this policy, your item was promptly returned back to your original shipping address.

Absolute disgrace for such a big bookmaker , 5 places no best odds for the grand national . Even his own staff are call the group just greedy ... I won bet with then again

For the Grand National we had 2 markets, one for 6 places and one for 8.

Ordered 2 skips for 2 different…

Ordered 2 skips for 2 different addresss neither turned up 3 days later still no skips . Diabolical service . Although contacted there service manager eventualy !!! and payment was refunded promptly

Hi Gary, we have listened to the call and you complained about another company called Circle Waste. You requested we deliver a skip on the 4th May, which we did and we collected it on the 6th May. We wonder whether you got us muddled with the rival company, if so we would be grateful if you could change your review to reflect our service.

10 BET .....BAD SITE

I had an in play football bet running for a lot of money. On 89 min 10 BET shut down there cash out facility with 8 minutes of extra time left to play . Hence my bet lost because I had no cash out option .
This should never happen .
They are ripping off there own customers.
They had the cheek to off me a £25 free bet. Regards Gary Johnson
