Lies About Delivery Dates

Ordered a birthday card and gift to be delivered on a specific date, which was confirmed on my order. Received notice from Royal Mail that delivery will occur after the confirmed date. No way on Monnpig's website to contact them, which I am sure is deliberate. Won't be using again

Thoroughly Enjoyable

A shout-out to Go Singles for their Christmas break at the Queen Hotel, Chester. Excellent accommodation, good food, and best of all, several new friends. Also want to thank Gary, the rep, who made everyone feel very welcome.

Truly awful shopping experience

What a truly awful experience using their website. Spent almost 2 hours on there, and still wasn't able to purchase. When trying to check out, it asks you to select a delivery option when you already have and no new ones appear. Then it tells you that one of the items is no longer in stock, so you have to go and reselect. You get through that, only to be told the delivery slot you chose is no longer available.

Waste of Time

Whilst I have been able to transfer files in the past, more recently this service has been a total time-waster. Every time I try to transfer files, it fails. Not much point in having a so-called 'Unlimited' transfer quota when you cannot transfer an entire folder with it failing.

If you are looking for a transcription tool that is accurate, easy, and very affordable, then I highly recommend Clipto. It is definitely the best I have used.

Worst dining experience ever

If you plan to eat, avoid Premier Inn, Peterborough. Claims that the "kitchen is a bit busy" when the restaurant was only half-full was the first sign that everything was not going well. Then, garlic bread with cheese was akin to a cremation with black cheese adorning the plate. Then, having ordered a well-done steak, it arrives with blood seeping from it. When I raised this with staff, the response was, "Medium rare is on the order" trying to blame me, rather than the person who wrote my order down wrongly. She said she would get the chef to cook the steak I ordered, but when it arrived, yet another that was pink all the way through. I decided to eat elsewhere at that point. Premier? Not even close.

So much for welcoming new customers

So much for welcoming new customers. They encourage you to sign up for an account with a promise of a new customer discount and newsletter but hours later I've received nothing via email. Need printer ink but if this is the first impression I have of their customer service I'll be going elsewhere to purchase.

In Response To Cartridge World's Reply: I only got an email regarding this after I chased it with your customer service dept so goodness knows how long I would have waited had I not done so. BTW there was nothing in my spam folder so trying to suggest it was my mistake confirms my initial opinion. As for 1-star, it is a genuine measure of my appalling first experience of Cartridge World which extends to you questioning my right to reflect this with my review.

Thank you for your review however I believe it is not reflective of your experience. Having looked at your email exchange with Charlotte I can see she informed you of an email problem with our web platform, she politely asked you to check your spam or junk folder and provided the discount code to you via email which we know you received as you then replied to complain about the lack of discount. Charlotte replied quickly to advise you of which products the discount did apply to and those excluded so we are confused as to why you feel so aggrieved to take time to leave a 1 star review.

Avoid - Flawed plus poor customer service.

Avoid. This tool has numerous glitches, such as freezing, which they try to appease by giving you credits, however, you cannot use those credits unless you pay for a subscription. Also, their AI detection is hugely flawed as it gives false positives for text that is 100% human-written but it flags as AI written.

Avoid Them

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Charge you for services you did not request, their customer service is non-existent (unless you call every answer being "It's in our Ts & Cs" as customer service) and when you try to close the account they try to hit you with fees such as £49 for the debit card. The banking ombudsman should be investigating them.

Delighted New Customer

I'm a new customer who realised I needed a different, higher priced package than the one I orginally bought. Using the chat on their website, I took this up with a customer service rep called Jenny. Jenny to her credit spent considerable time (and I'm sure her negotiating skills) to ensure that the total amount I paid was what it would have been the first time around. I love it when someone fights FOR a customer rather than against them. Thank you Jenny, and if your managers read this you deserve a bonus for showing the company in such a great light.

New customer about to cancel.

I'm a new broadband customer who signed up yesterday and have had more issues in 24 hours than I did in 2 years with my previous company. Appalling customer service having been told I would be called back by two different people no call has happened, they have messed up the direct debit details and when I did speak to someone it seems they have my name and address wrong. A|bsolutely shambolic.

What a shambles of a travel company

What a shambles of a travel company. We pre-booked seats and yet after 6 hours of phone calls and repeated assurances, "it is definitely sorted" my wife and I still do not have the seats we booked. Their phone staff are either liars, useless, or their computer system is not fit for purpose. T-U-I = Totally & Utterly Incompetent.

Communal repair not resolved

Communal repair not resolved. The date they said it would be fixed passed without resolution. Email to them was not responded to. The usual abysmal lack of customer service from L&Q, a housing association not fit for purpose given they see profits as more important than looking after their tenants

Avoid. Avoid Avoid. Appalling service. Lie about missed collections claiming they turned up when they didn't. Trying to contact their customer service is a nightmare with only automated options.
