Extremely disappointing support – vehicle unsafe and no resolution


I am beyond frustrated with Volkswagen’s handling of my case (0004283466).

It has now been nearly a week since I reported a serious fault, and there has been no meaningful resolution or urgency shown. My plug-in hybrid is currently unsafe to drive, with every warning light illuminated on the dashboard. It cannot be charged or driven as a hybrid due to the fault.

In effect, I have a £45,000, 2.5-ton vehicle sitting on my driveway that is completely unusable.

What’s most disappointing is not just the fault itself — issues can happen — but the lack of proactive communication, urgency, and ownership from Volkswagen. When a vehicle at this price point becomes unsafe and inoperable, customers expect immediate support and a clear plan to resolve the problem.

So far, that simply hasn’t happened.

I would strongly urge Volkswagen to review how cases like this are handled. Customers deserve far better support when dealing with serious vehicle faults

Just useless as always

Just useless as always, who would ever choose to use them??!!! .. would have been quicker to crawl on my belly like a snail to collect!!!

Surprised they are still in business to…

Surprised they are still in business to be honest!!!! No customer service, no assistance, nobody in any department wishes to assist and just passes you to another department. 9 months on and with no exaggeration, over 20hours on hold or being palmed off no further forward.. just unreal.. you pay a premium with BA as you expect a better service, not these days…

Company’s a joke, uncontactable and unhelpful!!

As others report. Company a joke. Wait for weeks for contact from them. Email, no response, call their number and it just doesn’t ring.., chase and chase only to be told they have cancelled the repair. Back to square 1 after 2months!!!

Fully electric car - JUNK!!!!

Fully electric car, 12v battery keeps discharging, apparently can only be replaced by a dealership to keep the warranty, however the dealership cant book it in until next year.

Terrible after sales support service

Poor quality products, slow to support, bad service in general.

They are happy to take your money but when the products are faulty they Offer little support and a very slow response. I Guess it’s just a delay tactic so that you loose interest.

I will avoid any future purchases and Have taken legal action to recover my costs.

dishonest and not trustworthy!!!

dishonest and not trustworthy!!!! Ordered something and it came late. As it was no longer required I was forced to pay the return fee so was never given a full refund. Sarcastic messages from returns department which really didn’t care about providing a professional service.

I’d avoid!!!

Unfortunately, at the time you placed your order, deliveries were subject to change at very short notice, often due to reasons entirely outside of our control. We have made every attempt to inform our customers prior to delivery that this could happen due to the unprecedented times in which we live.

Our delivery and returns terms are such that return postage is at the cost of the customer, which is in line with many online retailers and these terms were available for reading at any time.

Shocking after sales service

Terrible customer service. Still awaiting a response after chasing many times the order. Difficult to get through to customers services, and when you do, the promise of a call back is never fulfilled. I must of wasted an hour this week on the phone to them on hold!!!
