I ordered the Bella Perle 30-piece dinner set, along with two extra dinner plates and two serving platters, for an urgent dinner party. While the dispatch was fast, the rest of the experience was a total nightmare.
My order was held up at the DPD depot for three days. When it finally arrived, the box was suspiciously covered in thick white sellotape. Upon opening the individual boxes, it was a mess:
Two dinner plates were completely missing.
One dessert bowl was smashed.
One serving platter was also smashed.
Poor Communication & Stock Errors:
I contacted customer service immediately, sent the requested photos, and was promised replacements would be sent that same day. With my dinner party only 24 hours away, I called back to check the status, only to be told the serving platter was suddenly out of stock.
Zero Flexibility or Goodwill:
Because I was still short on items for my event, I noticed a larger serving platter was available online. I emailed asking if they could send that as a goodwill gesture since they couldn't fulfill my original order in time. They completely ignored my email.
The Resolution:
Nine days later—long after the dinner party had passed—I had to follow up again just to get a refund. They only refunded the original platter and showed zero care for the fact that I spent the day of my event with a missing and broken set.
Summary: Between the broken items, missing pieces, and dismissive customer service, I wouldn’t recommend Dibor. If you need a complete set for a specific date, look elsewhere.
