A very knowledgeable salesman Cameron who went the extra mile for us , thankyou . The engineer Chris could not have been more helpfull or polite to ourselves and was very tidy in his approach to the job in hand . My cupboard was a very tight fit for all the stuff and he still managed to get in beside it to fit and wire all components. Thankyou . Office staff have been great too . First class service all round .😀

Trustworthy Company
I was very skeptical about going ahead with this investment, however Cameron Milne, the salesman, was not at all pushy. Instead he took his time looking at all the possibilities that would result in our electrical bills being covered by Solar panels.
He was very patient and answered all of the huge number of questions I had about the system.
He was genuinely invested in the benefits of Solar Energy, without pushing me to accept a deal.
Overall I am delighted we went for this and as soon as the panels were installed, I could see the massive energy benefits.
The accompanying members of the team were also very knowledgeable and did a superb job of installing the entire system.
I would most definitely recommend Zest Energy to furnished you with the facts, figures and installation of Solar power.

I would recommend Zest Energy.
From start to finish everything went very smoothly: polite, knowledgeable representatives who were always patient, helpful and respectful of our property. We really know nothing about solar power, other than it should save us money, so everything from panels to paperwork was explained and simplified to help us understand. It’s early days but, so far everything seems to be working very well.

Dear Mr Dickson, our software indicated that we could fit 13 panels on your property. Unfortunately, our installer only managed to fit 12. There are a few reasons when this can happen; placement of joists etc. This was communicated to you and the order value was reduced to reflect this. We originally quoted you on the 14 February 2025 and you placed your order with us on 5 June.

The fitting team were great really fast and good at there job explained everything clearly the only down side to this company is the lady in the office very abrupt and obnoxious if I was ever in need of contacting them again I would avoid going through the office if possible

Don’t work for this company
I am leaving this review as I wish I had been given a heads up about working for zest. I had a short stint at Zest energy in December 2023. I started alongside a few others and we were asked on the first day (in a semi-joking way) to write a good review about the company to help improve Zests image. I left after being told I was going to be watched through my computer to make sure I was clicking onto calls fast enough.
I asked to be paid for the shifts I did and was told I wasn’t there (despite providing proof of being at the building during working hours through Google Maps timeline). I was then asked to send in my timesheet which I did and still wasn’t paid.
Don’t bother applying to them, very high staff turnover rate and it’s unsurprising.
EDIT: Zest flagged this comment as defamatory. Trust Pilot reviewed and decided it wasn’t.

Thank you for your comments. While we cannot discuss individual employment matters in detail on a public forum, we would like to clarify the following for transparency:
All staff are required to complete a weekly timesheet as part of our payroll process. Timesheets submitted late or without corresponding rota entries cannot be automatically processed.
In this case, no rota entry was recorded for the dates claimed, and the timesheet was only submitted several weeks later. This was why the hours were initially disputed.
Location data such as a phone’s GPS record is not sufficient evidence of working hours, as it does not confirm start/end times or whether an individual was on duty.
We follow the same process consistently for all employees, and all hours verified against rotas and timesheets are paid in full.
We regret that this has been presented publicly as a non-payment issue, as we take our obligations to staff seriously. We also wish to stress that Trustpilot is a platform for customer feedback — not employment tribunals — and this review does not reflect customer experience with Zest Energy Ltd.
