Still no refund after 2 months
My tax-free form was validated on 10 April 2025. It’s now mid-June and I still haven’t received my refund. ZappTax keeps repeating that there are delays but gives no timeline or meaningful update. Would not recommend.
Update-
My refund was delayed after validation on 10 April, and I received it on 18 June after posting here. I’m glad it was eventually resolved, but clearer communication along the way would have made the experience much smoother.

They are good just that they take a lot of time but you get more upto 90% back
They took sometime but I received the refund . Well I will recommend them just be aware currently it can take upto 12-15 weeks to receive your refund but if the forms are validated you should get it . Appreciate the team for their work. Only if timelines could be improved then it’s a 5/5

Au début, tout roulait : dépôt des factures simple, décompte rapide, formulaire de détaxe validé, passage en douane sans souci.
Mais une fois arrivé à l’étape cruciale du remboursement, c’est la dégringolade.
Un mois d’attente, toujours rien. Et en lisant que certains attendent 2 à 3 mois, on comprend vite que ce n’est pas un cas isolé.
Le service client ? Toujours le même discours : “Zapptax a toujours remboursé”. Très bien, mais quand exactement ? Aucune réponse concrète.
J’en attendais un service fiable pour mes achats réguliers : c’est raté.
Mieux vaut choisir une plateforme qui rembourse peut-être un peu moins, mais qui paie vite.
Là, on parle d’attente interminable, de promesses vagues, et de plans financiers qui tombent à l’eau.

Nous souhaitons apporter un peu de contexte : les délais actuels sont principalement dus à l’attente de remboursements de TVA de la part des administrations fiscales, sur lesquels nous n’avons malheureusement pas de visibilité claire ni de contrôle.
Cela dit, votre remboursement reste entièrement garanti — il ne s’agit pas d’un risque de non-paiement, mais bien d’un problème de délai. Et nous travaillons activement à rétablir des délais plus courts, notamment via des discussions avec les autorités fiscales et des pistes de financement en cours de structuration.
Nous comprenons que pour des achats réguliers, la fiabilité perçue est primordiale, et nous regrettons profondément de ne pas avoir été à la hauteur cette fois. Nous espérons pouvoir regagner votre confiance prochainement, avec un service plus fluide et des délais mieux maîtrisés.

Poor service, terrible experience.
Zapptax were brilliant when I used them last year but something has gone terribly wrong since then. My tax forms were approved 7 weeks ago. I’m still waiting for payment and there’s no proactive support or comms from Zapptax. In my latest chase they’ve informed me that I’ve been “unlucky” - but they have no idea when I’ll be paid because it’s down to when the tax authorities pay them and they don't have the funds to pay ahead of this. I guess I’ll just have to keep waiting until my lucky day because Zapptax aren’t interested in helping me.

The delay is linked to the unpredictable timelines of the tax authorities, and while we usually prefinance refunds to avoid such situations, this hasn’t always been possible recently due to the sharp growth in demand we’re managing.
We completely agree that “being unlucky” is not the experience we want to deliver. We're actively working on improvements — including discussions with the administration and exploring funding options — so that situations like this become the exception, not the rule.
