Thank you for taking the time to share this with us – and I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your experience with the Earthborn Clay Paint.

Given that you've used it a fair few times before without issue, I can completely understand how disappointing it must have been to open this tin and find it with bits in. That's not the experience we'd want for any of our customers.

I understand you called us to report it at the time, and we asked for some images. I appreciate that you'd already used all the paint, so photos weren't possible, and without the tin or images we're sadly unable to test or investigate what happened. I hope you can understand that's not us brushing it off – we genuinely can't look into it properly without something to go on. It is very important that we look into any potential issues as quickly as possible in case there are any faults.

If you do find an issue in future, please do contact us at your earliest opportunity so that we can investigate this properly and get this rectified for you.

The delivery itself is carried out by DPD, a separate courier company. So while we arrange the delivery on your behalf, it's DPD's drivers who are responsible on the day. We completely understand your frustration and we're sorry to hear they not only failed to deliver but then gave you inaccurate information about it.

We should say that, on average, DPD receive great feedback from our customers – but unfortunately, you do sometimes get the odd area with a rogue driver who spoils it for everyone. It's unfortunate when that happens, and we're sorry that your area seems to be one of them – especially when this is the fourth time you've had problems.

We do review our courier arrangements regularly, and feedback like yours – particularly from customers who've had repeated issues – forms a real part of those conversations. It's clear that in your case, DPD have fallen well short of the standard we'd want for our customers, and we're genuinely sorry that you've been the one to suffer for it.

If you ever do decide to order with us again, it may be worthwhile considering Click and Collect or a local Pick Up Point for collection instead.
