It’s good but it’s a business
It’s a good training session. But can get a bit too focused on making money through the add ons. It would have been nice to be able to have a fight after attending 8-weeks worth of training. I strongly feel £50 for seated tickets and £40 for standing tickets (with nothing included in it) is a bit high for a fight night like this.
I think the owner needs to reevaluate the spirit and purpose of the sport. People should be allowed to fight based on the efforts and number of session they attend and not the number of tickets they sell. They claim this is how they try to raise money for the 8 weeks training course, but I am sure they receive grants from the government which help them cover these expenses already.
Anyhow, credit where it’s due Steve, Ed and Remmy have been really nice and helpful.
Ohh and not sure what’s taken you this long but my charity had asked for two documents to ensure the safety of the event but has not received it yet.
Chased twice by them and twice by me.
Public liability insurance for the event, as well as insurance coverage for participants.
Risk assessment for your participation in the event.
But nvm as we don’t need it anymore as I am not paired to fight on the fight night.
