Great help from Harley

Great help from Harley with resetting up of the wifi thermostat after our electrics had been disconnected and it loosing it's settings.
He was able to give me clear and precise information and new what to do when I came up against a problem.
Ten out of ten from me.

Clear instructions well paced

Harley gave clear instructions at a good pace pitched so I could understand how the system worked, and I had the opportunity to ask questions. It was more of a conversation rather than someone reading off a script

Top quality customer care

For a non tech person I was having great difficulty setting the tariff on my bathroom thermostat . Harley, with the patience of a saint, talked and walked me through the process with kindness and consideration and is to be highly commended for his empathy and customer service skills.

Thermostat and WiFi connectivity

My issue is with the wi fi thermostat. I recently changed my IP address which means the facia has to be removed to scan the QR code enabling heat management via the app. Warmup constantly tell me the QR code should be on the facia which it isn't. They then tell you to lever the facia off with a sc rewdriver to scan the QR code on the inside which might crack the screen. This year I haven't used my underfloor heating as you can't turn heating on via the app without scanning the QR code. How ridiculous that the app does not make provision in settings for changing IP address. The support team are downright rude and unhelpful.

The Warmup Element thermostat is supplied with a primary QR code located on the front fascia, labelled “Do Not Discard.” This label contains the device’s unique pairing information which is required for securely linking the thermostat to the MyHeating app during initial setup and whenever the Wi Fi network configuration changes (e.g., new router, SSID, password etc…)

If the front label is removed or misplaced, a secondary, permanent QR code is printed on the rear housing of the thermostat. This serves as the backup registration method and ensures that app pairing is still possible even if the external label is unavailable.

The fascia is designed to be removed without any force on the display panel itself. The unit incorporates a release clip located on the underside; inserting a flat head screwdriver into the designated slot disengages this clip. Once released, the fascia lifts away cleanly.

Damage can only occur if the screen is pulled outward without first releasing the retaining mechanism.

It is also important to note that the thermostat remains fully operational as a standalone controller. All heating functions — including temperature adjustment, scheduling, and manual override — can be accessed directly from the unit on the wall until the app connection is restored.

Technical support

I had a couple of issues during the setup process so I called the helpline number. The technician I spoke to (Anton) was amazing. He patiently walked me through the process and was very quick to resolve my issue. Anton is a real credit to your company.

Rang up with a small issue that I…

Rang up with a small issue that I couldn’t sort out, using my email Harley was able to immediately look at my heating system and identified what the problem was (user error🤦‍♀️). I was able to rectify this whilst on the phone, fantastic service.

Excellent tech/customer support

I had to change my e mail and was struggling to update my app to get my heating to work. Harley was knowledgeable, kind, efficient, patient and proactive. It took several attempts at my end and he understood that I was getting frustrated. It’s when things go wrong that it’s important to have chosen the right product and company and I was more than satisfied. So often it is a chatbot that deals with the customer and I’m so grateful that Warmup have Real Humans!!!Thank you again Harley.

Warm up thermostat support

I had a problem with my warm up thermostat as the floor wasn’t heating sufficiently. I called up warm up technical support and spoke with Anton and he did a great job of walking me through how to reset the thermostat despite not being very familiar with thermostat. He worked things out quickly and efficiently and was very helpful. Thank you anton!!!
