Formally express my strong dissatisfaction with the emergency services provided at The Grange University Hospital following recent experiences.

While the nursing staff generally demonstrate dedication under difficult conditions, the overall service and wait times are deeply concerning. The decision to centralize Accident & Emergency services has severely impacted patient care, resulting in wait times exceeding 12 hours. For example, individuals presenting with acute conditions—such as severe pain from kidney stones or urgent medical device issues—have faced excessive delays before receiving appropriate attention. Furthermore, the triage prioritizing process appears inconsistent and leaves vulnerable patients waiting for unacceptable lengths of time.

I trust this feedback will be directed to the appropriate management team to address these systemic inefficiencies and improve the standard of care. In avail don't think there will be change!

I called for an ambulance after I had fallen and hit my head on the floor. They arrived Pentre Castell, after being diverted from another call,within 15 minutes. They are base in Port. I was treated in a professional and caring way. A nd E was very busy so I received excellent care in the ambulance. They stayed until past the end of their shift and handed me over to the team that came from Blaenau. Again another excellent experience whilst waiting to be seen and treated. The ambulance service is staffed by highly trained and compassionate individuals. I am very appreciative of their help and cannot thank them enough. Diolch yn fawr!

I gave up trying to set up the NHS Wales App...let alone 'login' to it...bonus though is that my personal data and biometrics won't be sold off by Palantir to anyone.
As for NHS Wales itself.....my experience has been very poor and I'm sorry to say that I don't expect it to ever get any better.

My Wife received a Radiology Appointment letter 20 minutes before Her appointment scheduled at 12 noon on 10 August 2026. So Her appointment didn't have to be rescheduled We rushed from Cyncoed & parked in The Blue Badge car park with My Blue Badge displayed correctly ! I parked in what I thought was a clear bay but due to the urgency of assisting My Wife to Radiology I'd obviously made a mistake & ended up with a ParkingEye fine which I appealed but needless to say it was refused & I'm now £40 worse off. It's not surprising that Both !! ParkingEye & UHW Cardiff have Trust Pilot ratings of around 1.5. " Birds of a Feather" obviously stick together. Lets Hit The OAP's / Disabled/ & Infirm 1st. Utterly disgusting.

Absolutely shocking app. Unable to even register. What on earth is going on with this? Appears to be designed to block access to healthcare.

How do I make an official complaint against you with intent to claim compensation. If you don't reply I'll just get it myself . My date is approximately

Diabolical and dangerous at so many levels. Should be able to score a minus!

So forced to wear a face covering when nobody else in the building was after a stroke with COPD and other lung issues but no response after emails and bad reviews. Time to go No win no fee route! Date is a rough idea

AAwful experience,I required an emergency dentist all my details were taken,was I contacted yes eventually after nine and a half hours in relative agony,absolutely pathetic booking a GP appointment is also near impossibility we really have the worst health service in the UK for whatever reason it is a total failure.

My husband was rushed into The Heath Hospital Cardiff by his GP because he was suffering from chest pains. We were directed to A1 Link and were told to go to the waiting room. We were there 5 minutes before seeing two nurses who undertook various tests before seeing the doctor. Doctor Michael was wonderful. We cannot praise him enough. He quickly put our minds to rest by carefully explaining procedures and results to tests as they came to light. His gentle and calming way with a good sense of humour quickly dispersed the crisis. What an asset to the hospital but we understood that he was standing in and The Heath was not his usual hospital. What a fantastic doctor. Thank you Doctor Michael but we must also thank the amazing staff of A1 link. C.and J McCarthy

Cardiff dental hospital are an absolute disgrace.

I repeatedly went to them over 30year period telling them the two apiocectony teeth (an operation they performed) were infected and making me very ill. They told me it was anxiety, laughed at me, another when I told him had Lyme sniggered ‘yeah yeah and where did you get that not this country!’,

Had to go private and they removed teeth roots were bubbling black and whole top jaw full of osteomyelitis, heart affected, chronic ill health and still they refused to help remove other teeth infected and just keep lying and covering up, so now I’m left trying to find a specialist to help me.

Save up and see a biological dentist stay away from these dangerous gaslihhtets

Unreliable when retrieving sent messages, you may have notifications that a message has been sent from the app, but you cant access the message on the phone. 1st you log into the NHS APP, then you log inti the Wales NHS APP, which directs you to the Patients Know Best App, pantomime when you compare it to our English friends, 1 click does it all. I shudder to think what this App cost to develop and introduce, whoever is responsible should give their head a wobble

NHS WALES, SOME SECTIONS, IE. GP'S, ARE PUTTING VULNERABLE LIVES AT RISK, WHICH IS DISGUSTING AND VERY DANGEROUS.

I would never recommend this Welsh nhs app to anyone it is useless

Having visited North Wales for a week, my wife had forgotten some medication, so visited a local pharmacy asking if she could her home pharmacy could sent a prescription through to pick up there. She was immediately told no we dont deal with England! nor Scotland.Wha t sort of nonsence is that, aren,t we all one Country ignoring the silly devolution aspect. It was only because one of the staff heard and stated she would sort it for her,but there appeared also to be some negative responses from the English surgery reception about doing it. It did eventually get sorted, but this needs some positive procedure when this happens as it must do on occasions.

A sham of an organisation. Take months to investigate complaints an they can't do that properly.
Never answer the hone. Only available 10 am to 2vpm.
Needs a massive kick up the backside!

I had a Gastroscopy today at UH Llandough. It was excellent with no pain and great staff.

Shambles , can access my personal details and that's that, which I know. Have an appointment booked for this week and needed to tell work so went on app to check . No appointment at all on app. Can't access medical records so why waste money and time on a not fit for purpose app

Why is the NHS Physio self referral form impossible to comlete yourself and when you ask the hosptal physio team they tell you to go home and phone for assistance. Not really efficiency at work .

I have been waiting nearly 2year for an appt to see someone about my knee I received an appt for the 26/08 to see Mr Vedran Curckovic at 1.50pm, Today I have received in 3 separate envelopes ( 3 lots of postage) a letter cancelling my appt on the 26/08 at 1.50pm, then a letter with a new appt for the 26/08 at 1.50pm, then a further letter, cancelling an appt on the 26/08 at 1.50pm. At the end of it all I still don’t have an appt it is a good job I am not booking an ambulance car to get there and with the NHS in a bad way we could save a little in time wasting ,stationary, and postage my hospital number is M6020007 , my name is Ms Barbara Tazzini.
