I wish I had seen the reviews on here before I paid for my order 50/50 plants in Spring/Winter. Looks like Keith experiences the same problems every year. To many orders to handle but this time I also got the 'lost supplier and all sorts of other excuses. The plants were meant to be delivered in March. I waited until the mid April before I started to wonder whats going on, now almost mid May and I've lost patience. I have requested a refund £54.98 I have little faith that I will get my money back but lets see.

Update 2 days after writing this review I received a refund.

I purchased cabbage and Brussels from this company. rather disappointing, having a degree in horticulture i know how commercially produced plug plants should look. this is not it. Plants arrived in straw, wrapped in newspaper. Leaves were yellowing and some had aphids and leaf rot. Plants were not uniform some were large and some were like seedlings. Been in ground for 2 weeks, not much improvement.

The plants I ordered came, in beautiful condition wrapped in paper and padded with straw - how fantastic! This packaging is the most environmentally friendly packaging I have ever received from buying various plants over the internet. The cardboard box and the paper will go to my husband's recycling centre (they could equally go in the recycling bin, easy!) - paper and cardboard are very recyclable. The straw will go straight on my compost. Usually small plugs come in plastic moulding, which I know usually goes to landfill. I suspect the plants would also have lasted very well among paper and straw (if I'd been out, or away, when the the parcel arrived).

Absolutely appalling customer service. Ordered in April for Late Spring (early May onwards) delivery. No plants arrived, chased in late May and early June - tried phone, email and FB and got no answer.

Got a mass email from the owner 4th June saying how busy they were and he didn't have time to respond to emails. I replied and said it wasn't very good, and where was my order - pointing out that I was about to go away.

Success - a response! We agreed to wait until I returned frtom holiday 10 days later. The plants arrived 2 days later just as we were going away. I did my best but 4 died while we were away.

The order was short of 2 plants. Guess what I've been chasing these for weeks and getting no response. I suggested I was simply refunded for them...no response.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS. If a company has such abysmal customer servce they do not deserve to be in business in my opinion.

I bought courgette plugs and they arrived speedily, have survived transplant shock to a very hot dry raised bed,then a sudden 10 degree drop in temperature with torrential Glasgow rain,because they were very strong plants to begin with--and well packed for moisture retention.I declare them bomb proof!Thanks and I will come again.

Just AWFUL - I share the same experience. Took my money and no contact and no plants. After 2 weeks i chased them and was told that the plants would be sent very soon. 10 days later had to contact them again. Got very upset when i said that i was going to contact paypal. Refund sent same day, but i wanted the plants......DREADFUL company. DO NOT USE

I would give no stars if that was possible. Dreadful customer service no plants but money taken in January, thank goodness for Paypal as I now have a refund- do not touch this company.
This was necessary this is not the first time this has happened. Only got refund when I contacted Pay Pal.

I ordered two different varieties of kale plugs and was warned there would be a long wait. There was but it was worth it. I realise that others have had very poor service from this company but I am satisfied with it since I entered into the transaction in the knowledge that it would be quite some time before I received the goods.

Would give 0 * if possible. Placed a large order in January 2016 (£58), after several un responsive emails, and calls, NO plants, its now November 2016, I suppose I have to realise that there is never going to be a refund, just lots of sob stories i.e. parted company with partner, illness and bad weather. Such a rip off merchant, took my money quick enough.

Ordered twice from this company. First order turned up eventually although a month later than delivery date given but to wrong address despite assurances otherwise. Package was full of flies and plants half dead.

Second order was for some additional plants for late in season. It didn't turn up so emailed. Received an email saying he couldn't refund me due to a backlog of other customers waiting for a refund. Sent an email reminding him of distance selling regulations and opened a PayPal dispute. Ta dah. Money back. Will never use again.v

I ordered some squash plants and a couple of herbs from this site at the end of May, asking for a May/June delivery. By the start of July not only had I not heard anything, but I didn't have my plants. I am still waiting for my refund, which the vendor said he would do when he had time when I called to complain. I would rather that companies either didn't commit to selling things that they don't have the resources to then provide, or were good at communicating with customers when they have a stock failure. It was only £15 but I'd quite like it back all the same, and I'm miffed because I now have no squashes or pumpkins from my garden to eat over the winter.

Ordered some plants in Spring 2013 for Summer. After 2 months they never arrived and upon emailing numerous times they kept saying they were busy and would refund within the week. Spring 2014 and still waiting for the refund.....

Rubbish company , plants arrive in poor condition , orders marked to follow don't arrive at all and they don't respond to e-mails but " don't like " being contacted by phone !

If you love plants this is a company to avoid .
