I'd never heard of them before I started to research Removal Firms! Thank goodness for Google as their name popped up on my search.
Why do I mention this - because people generally tend to stick with what and who they know and you could miss out on including these guys in your search.
They weren't the cheapest but the professional tone on emails and the helpfulness of the chap conducting the site survey made an impression and gave me a lot of comfort that they would complete the job to a high standard.
On the day all of the crew were really helpful and they couldn't do enough to make sure everything ran smoothly. Alongside 'normal' items there were some extraordinary items to be moved including some large semi-industrial woodworking machines. They coped admirably with it all and took it in their stride. After a three hour journey accross country they remained polite and professional even though it had been a very long day.
Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent removal men friendly & professional. Very quick in loading and off loading all our worldly goods!! The 3 men were Matt, Craig & Archie. Would definitely recommend Trunk removals. We also had 3 lads the day before we moved & they loaded part of the house they were excellent too but didnt get their names

Great vibe people
We moved last September and we were assisted by Kieran and Dan. They’re both great persons. I thought moving is a stressful process but thanks to these guys’ positive vibes, everything just was pleasant.

5* packing and removal service - highly recommend
The office team and the removal team were all highly efficient, organised and communicative. Overall the whole process from start to finish was excellent. The packing and removal team were careful and so hardworking - the whole move was made so easy for us, including helping us move some items directly into our storage unit. I would highly recommend TL for any house move and will use them again for any future moves. Thank you for a great service.

They outsourced our move to another removal company, didn’t share any of the details of the job with said company and the vans provided were not big enough for the volume of our belongings, meaning they had to take a trip back to our old house after offloading some things at our new house, much to the annoyance of the new buyers of our old house.
The movers we had were slow and hard to speak to, making the day more stressful than it should’ve been.
They also lost an item of ours in the move and said they would look for it but I’ve heard nothing since.
Not a great experience at all on an already stressful day.

To clarify, while Trunk Logistics is the company you booked with, we do at times allocate work to trusted teams who operate with their own transport but carry out moves on behalf of Trunk Logistics. This allows us to provide coverage and flexibility for our customers, but we understand that it can be concerning if this isn’t fully understood beforehand. We will review how we communicate this to ensure it is clearer going forward.
Regarding your comment about communication with the team on the day, we appreciate that clear communication is important during a move. Some of our crews include experienced workers whose first language may not be English, but this does not affect their professionalism or ability to carry out the job to the high standards we expect. We value all of our staff equally, and we are confident in their skills and the quality of their work. That said, we are sorry if any language barrier made the day feel more stressful for you.
We are also very sorry that one of your items has not yet been located. Our Customer Services team did reply to your initial enquiry and advised that we would be thoroughly checking with all staff involved to trace its whereabouts. These checks do take time to complete properly, but please be assured that we are still actively working on this.
If, after all investigations are completed, the item cannot be found, the next step in our policy is for you to make a claim through the extended liability cover you selected for your move. Our team will guide you through this process if it becomes necessary.
We truly regret that your experience fell short of the standards we aim to deliver and appreciate your patience while our enquiries are ongoing. If you would like to discuss anything further, please feel free to contact our Customer Services team directly so we can assist you.

Not a great experience
Not a great experience. The lads seemed inexperienced and one in particular was not friendly or helpful. An expensive lamp was damaged as they had tried to dismantle it without asking first. I definitely wouldn’t use this company again.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to encounter issues during your move, especially regarding the behaviour of the crew and the damage to your lamp. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We pride ourselves on delivering good customer service, and we genuinely appreciate feedback that helps us improve.
Our Customer Services team sent a follow-up email to you on 16th October to check that everything had gone smoothly but we did not hear back from you at that time. With regard to the damaged lamp, we could have addressed this much closer to your move date on 3rd October, and we are unsure why it has only been brought to our attention two months later. Unfortunately, accidents can happen, but we do offer extended liability to help customers in situations like this when we are informed within the timescale policies.
Once again, we are sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention.

This is the second time I’ve used Trunk for a house move - Matt and Luke were very professional, quick but careful, friendly and overall had a great experience thanks to their hard work.
Unfortunately one of the moving vans broke down on the way, so that was a bit of a downer, but overall a really good service.

Trunk Logistics Review
Our review has been overdue. Our experience with Trunks Logistics was excellent from the start. It was very convenient that we are able to book a video consultation for them to assess the best vehicle size and team needed for our move. We were assigned Pat and she was very helpful from the start. We had no sure date of our move yet and she made it simple moving provisional dates until we had that final date. The pricing was also reasonable as we asked around and some were very expensive. They also offered packing materials however, we already had our own.
On moving day, we had Kieran and Dan to help us move our things. They were very professional and kind too. They made good time and were very organised in stacking up our boxes. They helped with little things like putting our fridge in place.
Overall, we had a great experience with the Trunk Logistics team. They are highly recommended for a house move.
