Trip Advisor is a good informative source but this is one of the referees you can considered.
Ultimately you as one of the individuals are the judges of what experiences you have encountered. Don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself and that is the only way to find out.

So far my favourite platform to seek / share options about places I want to go and have been to.

TripAdvisor is a very valuable resource when planning trips and meals out. I find the “Things to do” very useful. We have rarely been
let down with hotels and restaurants, but occasionally we are surprised at ratings. We have got into the habit of discounting ratings from people with only one rating to their name, typically a bad one, i.e. clearly people who have signed up to TripAdvisor because they have a beef with one establishment.

Trip Advisor is a great way to benefit from the experiences of others. While the reviews are often mixed there are generally enough that you get “the flavour” of what is being reviewed. They help avoid duds and find treasures.

A great tool for comparing hotel reviews. I am a great fan of this feature.

We always go to trip advisor for information and to check reviews, we have never been let down yet . We find it an amazing site AWESOME

A very useful site. Helps you make up your mind on whether something will appeal to you. Good to get first hand feedback on places and experiences, even the costs involved in certain excursions.

TripAdvisor is always what I’ve used. I’ve been engrossed by the reviews and found pretty much all of my accomodation since about 2010 through perusing the wide information provided.

TripAdvisor is my first stop whenever I am looking for hotels, things to see and do, places to eat - in fact, anything to do with being out and about - in my home town, interstate and internationally.

I like the phone App version more than the internet version. Easier to navigate. I contribute to Trip Advisor all the time. Would just like to see people be more objective about places they visit. Not every restaurant can be 5 star...

Trip advisor is a great source of knowledge for travellers like me. It is great to be able to contribute genuine information.

Great site to find reviews on accommodation, restaurants and attractions etc. Added bonus of being able to review/ see lists of things to do. Find this extremely helpful when travelling with young children

Trip Advisor is a great tool to explore holiday destinations and plan trips. I love having the info all in one site and reviews/forums on the places I’m considering help to fill in the gaps.

It is not 5 star yet as I don't feel that TripAdvisor is objective.
It only displays positive feedback. I think TripAdvisor, when seeing a negative feedback should first look at the history of that reviewer. If that reviewer has consistently given 95% positive reviews but one time gives a bad review. I believe TripAdvisor should acknowledge that bad review and post it. But instead they ignored that bad review. And hence TripAdvisor is biased.

I contribute and user TripAdvisor.
I have found it very good as a guide as to where to go or where to eat, some times it has been accurate, but on the rare occasion it has been inaccurate.
I try to write about my experiences as accurately as possible, some time I am a little hard on places and I believe rightly so, but I also praise where service has been good or excellent.
I find TripAdvisor an excellent place to check out places I am going to go to in advance to compare if my experiences are the same or better than other contributors.

Trip advisor helps to distinguish the ‘worth doing’ from the ‘don’t bother’.
Restaurants, attractions, hotels, it covers them all!
The first thing to do before you start booking anything, is check it out on trip advisor first!

For a long time I have relied on tripadvisor as a key source of information. However recently I have found it difficult to work out what are the best attractions in a new place amongst their collection of group tour adverts and sales pitches. There are also a lot of emails asking if you are still going somewhere or reminding you to book somewhere you looked at (even if you you are no longer going there). It is still a good double check on something you are considering, but no longer my prime source of information - despite how much I have contributed to it over the years.
