TripAdvisor covers all bases when I consider visiting another city of the world or even if I want to eat out. I don’t use any other platform when I travel.

I always like to check reviews on trip advisor before going places.

I am very happy to be a regular contributor to TripAdvisor because I gain a lot of benefit from reviews I read. I just do not understand all the points earned and Expert badges - what does that do for me. I would like some definite incentive to keep me interested in continuing to post reviews.

Everyday people telling of there experience. Which in turn helps others make an informed choice on where to stay, what to do & where to eat in the local area.

TripAdvisor is a great tool to find out about Hotels and Restaurants you plan to stay at over the years I have looked up places to stay and had helpful tips on planing my trips overseas.I highly recommend using Trip Advisor to check out places and Restaurants.

I find TripAdviser very helpful when researching places that I have not been to before. It is also great to read others reviews about accommodation and restaurants.

I use Trip Advisor to see reviews for potential accommodation, restaurant, activities & tour bookings. I like that is shows all reviews & not just positive reviews. Also the feedback from the host can be insightful.

I do believe in the ratings from Trip Advisor and use them every time I go away which is two or three times a year. Only on a couple of occasions have my views differed but this is understandable. I’m looking forward to checking out a few more hotels in Italy later this year.

TripAdvisor is a great way for people to see real reviews from real customers. It allows others to know what quality of food they were served and how the service was. I've used it several times and found that the reviews I had read were accurate.

Some businesses cant handle the feedback but majority of them are good, making the changes.

You dont have to go Gordon Ramsey on someone but feedback is important, especially if your paying good money.

Importantly, some people shouldn't be in hospitality and TripAdvisor allows those people to be exposed. It's a great source of information for everyone.

Good infomation on all the sites,where ever you go in the world.

Tripadvisor is a valuable source of information for travelers and presumably also for accommodation and tourist service providers.My one concern is that as it has become more commercial it runs the risk of being manipulated so that reviews are weighted in favour of those who are willing to pay.I would encourage Tripadvisor to ensure that information is impartial, free of bias and accurately reflects the end-user experience.

Excellent travel information and reviews from customers who have actually been to the places they review, often with good photos to support.

Great for viewing up to date information on peoples experience. You can see how a restaurant/park/museum etc..performs over time from a variety of people.

I generally find that the reviews on TripAdvisor are helpful and accurate. I don’t always follow the recommendations for booking accommodation as I can often negotiate a competitive deal direct with the property.

We use TripAdvisor in both selecting and booking accommodation and restaurants. Found the comments to be accurate.

The first place I go to get a honest opinion about a Restaurant , Hotel , cruise etc .
Invaluable in helping with places to stay , eat , shop and insights into important aspects of travel including good bargains , wheel chair access , places to sight see and good recommendations for tours , travel insurance and safety tips by the trip advisor community .
