Charging an existing customer an…
Charging an existing customer an administrative fee for renewing their contract is absolutely ridiculous! All fees should be incorporated in to the overall price and I think it’s an absolute kick in the teeth for your loyal customers to be charged for a continuous service. You decide to send all the new quotes to customers to agree or reject. That’s your job to keep the customers satisfied and returning so from my perspective I will be shopping around next year.

Administration fees are disclosed as part of the renewal offer and, as a regulated insurance provider, we are required to clearly show all charges and fees separately so customers can see exactly what they are paying for. These fees help cover the cost of administering and maintaining policies throughout the policy term.
We value your loyalty and have taken your feedback on board. As you wish to shop around next year, we have arranged for your policy not to automatically renew next year, so no renewal premium or payment will be collected unless you choose to proceed with a new policy at that time.

Renewal price was hiked
Renewal price was hiked, even though I have not made any claims in the last 5 years or so, Loyalty is not a word the company know or understand.
