Overall happy with the price however navigating the help/contact section to ask a question prior to signing up was a bit of a chore as was the call handling bot. Would be nice to get through to a human a little more quickly without the multiple levels on interrogation for a policy number I did not have. Could be a bit slicker, also appears that there are different contact numbers for current customers depending on their policy numbers.... Keep it simple please guys....

We have been using the the same home insurance provider for very many years and have never ever made a claim. This years policy from them was nearly £300 more than previously. As we have a Lloyds credit card we thought we would try you. The figure we received from you for the same cover was significantly less. So we decided to switch to you. I bought the policy through compare the market, not quite the cheapest but, it served my needs better than the options. Process was very quick and efficient. I also found the breakdown cover to be good value.

Over twenty years of consistently insuring with Lloyds and just one previous claim. Put a claim in for damage to an old sewage pipe which had tree roots penetrate it. Claim denied because it’s “wear and tear”. Only an £800 claim but they’re obviously too hard up to want to pay out for a fair, reasonable and honest claim. Certainly won’t be be using any Lloyds products in the future. This isn’t sour grapes it’s a genuine warning to all that over two decades of loyalty will serve for nothing with Lloyds.
