Terrible sevice waited nearly 4 weeks for a router box only to kept being told it was delayed leaving there warehouse then just cancelled my order and asked for a refund and waited another week for a refund and not being refunded my delivery which was £16.99 as I'm in the (HIGHLANDS) terrible service nothings in stock will never buy from this company, barley any return emails have to email 4or 5 times before I got a reply

i contacted them 2 weeks after my purchase to ask whats going on.the answer was they didn`t even send it,reason : "we have the item you purchase on better price now" (it wasnt even a quid less though)....what the hell!!! tell me about it then,contact me or something? then they say i`m going to have it in week time,after that week it was a month! and so on and so on....so frustrating... just unreal cant believe that company even exist,and hope wont be for much longer!

Placed an order 10 days ago NOT in stock customer services are dreadful in replying they do NOT have a single phone number for customers to call I'm having to ring my bank to get refunded they do not hold the stock on there website very shoddy business and very shoddy customer service it's a good job I checked these reviews before spending any more money I use on average 100 to 150 cans of spray per week through refurbishments projects so I'll stick to using my old supplier slightly more expensive but exceptional as a business and first hand in customer service my advice STAY CLEAR !!!!!

i ordered a clarke pls195, which was the cheapest on the net, but when the order came through they wanted more money for the delivery and after a phone call i explained the price was only £2 more from a competitor, but not if they add the extra delivery cost they did not increase the price. the pressure washer turned up super fast, plus was well package, so i will and have already used again. Plus they are very friendly and helpfull on the phone....which is always a bonus. Plus the clarke pls195 is the best pressure washer i have ever used for the price range...

The price of the item we have ordered has increased each order, which is not good & impact quite a lot on our manufacturing costs.
However our previous order had a number of units short & when we advised Tool-Net they sent out the missing ones immediately which I though was good customer service

Ordered on a Sunday and delivered on Thursday. All good and would use again.

This ordered was for a CCM 50 cement mixer.

I was aware that due to the weight being over 30kg, there would be an additional request for postage, overall the delivery fees were reasonable.

Cement mixer arrived in around three days of the additional postage being paid. The mixer comes as a self-assembly kit, an it took around an afternoon to put together (between cups of tea). Fairly easy to assemble, once you get the knack of reading the written instructions and cross referencing with the design drawing and parts list.

Drum will mix a 20Kg bag of Sand or Sub-base, cement and water. First use was around 4 hours, worked perfectly. Bonus, the legs can fold away for easier storage.

I ordered a Milwaukee impact wrench from these guys, all seemed well order confirmed, after a day I was contacted and told they can no longer make this order due to it being discontinued,

So not to be deterred I chose another wrench only to be told some time later that this is also out of stock I was offered another wrench which I told was in stock and asked to pay an additional 38 pounds. I did this promptly as I wanted my order quickly!

Only to be told shock horror! That this impact wrench is also currently not available,

I have now requested a refund however this is taking a massively long time due to the company being in no rush to respond to emails and offering very little else in way of communicating.

I will be avoiding in the future and I warn others to do so.

I feel I have been more then patient and fair in the time frame I have allowed before posting such a negative review.
I look forward to hearing from the company as to a reason for such painfully slow service.

I bought a Stihl hedge cutter from Tool-Net c £300+

On Tool-Net's website under this product it states:
"This Stihl tool is prohibited from hands off distribution. It is a dangerous tool and it must be fully understood BEFORE its first use."
"Tool-net are pleased to offer this tool for sale via our website but responsibly, we insist on assembling the product correctly and giving you a full safety briefing on its function before use."

Tool-Net outsource this 'service' to Adams Garden Machinery (AGM) in Haywards Heath. You have to collect these items from AGM to ensure you have " a full safety briefing on its function before use"

I drove to AGM where I was handed the boxed item “there you go”
I said ‘is there no handover?’
The guy took the hedge cutter out of the box and asked me to check it, which I did.
He then put it back in the box, expecting me to leave.
Once again I said “do you not explain how it works’
The man said “have you not used one before?”
“No I have not”
To which he replied
“You should not buy items such as these off the internet if you don’t know how to use them”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(er, hello, that is why I am in your shop!!)

He did then show me in a very hurried manner how to start it. That was all I got. I left

This is appalling service when Stihl insist on a handover to ensure its safety is understood.

If you want to understand how a Stihl item works and its safety features avoid buying from Tool-Net.
Avoid buying from Adams Garden Machinery in Haywards Heath if you do not wished to be treated like an idiot and made to feel very, very small.

I gave Tool Net the courtesy of responding before taking this matter public and raising the matter with Stihl.
Almost a week after complaining I received an email of platitudes ending "Thank you again for your feedback and I hope you will try us again soon" - No I will not.....................

I got a great price for the goods that I wanted, and they were shipped quickly. The communications from tool-net were good from start to finish, they even notified me that the delivery might be late as the courier had been late picking them up, but as it happens they arrived on time. Very satisfied.
