Seemed like a great gift when my son sent Tinggly $ for my retirement gift. As we began planning our trip, I picked a couple items at the tinggly website that we'd enjoy on our trip. Since we'd only be in the area for a week, I wanted confirmation of availability during that week before trading my Tinggly $ for the experience voucher. Started by asking chat bot, then email, and finally by phone. All dead ends and I'm currently waiting on a return phone call (Guy said he'd pass the message along to "them," so I don't think they even answer their own phones). If this all plays out I'll revise my comments, but at this point I'd recommend expediaInstead *revision to note that I got to speak with a very helpful representative approximately one week after initial chatbot and email inquiries.

Was of money and time save
Poor costumer service and support. If the recipient doesn't like the gift. The can't exchange it. They will take you money and not want to give it back. They told me the gift I was give could just sit on the shelf. Even knowing I would never use it.Basic said we got the money and don't care if you ever use the package.

Our customer support team has tried to explain that the purchase was made in 2023 and unfortunately, it falls outside the 30-day refund policy. Additionally, the refunds can only go to the buyer's account. As you are the gift recipient, even if the refund were eligible, it would need to be processed back to the original payment method, therefore we cannot transfer the amount to you, as per your request.

Website could be better, but good customer support
The website needs rework as is it difficult to navigate (ex: Filters don't really work, search is inefficient)
Information on experiences is not that clear (ex: I bought food experience that said 1 person but if fact it was not limited to a number of person).
After booking my Private chef experience, some back and forth was needed between Tinggly and the provider but that resolved quickly and Tinggly largely compensated that issue. Thank you.
Tinggly should help get better deals because currently it's the same price on the providers' websites.
I appreciate the customer support response and the unlimited lifespan of the gift card

I’m wondering if the 5 star reviews are fake because I’m not having a good experience with tinggly at all so far. First of all, there’s no way of knowing how much money the experience is worth until you click on pay now. Second, there’s no experiences where I live (Lancaster, PA.) last but not least, a lot of the activities are “currently unavailable” or there is 0 available dates left, even 6 months out.

Not a good gift idea
There are several problems with this company:
1. When you receive a gift card and try to redeem it the choices of available experiences is considerably fewer than what someone paying new cash would be able to pick from.
2. There is no way on seeing the value of your experience when redeeming a gift card. You get one experience whether and you have no idea whether you picked one that was very inexpensive and you didn't get your moneys worth.
3. There are no cancellations when using a gift card. A change of plans and you just lose out.

1. While some cities may currently have fewer options available in your gift box, we are continuously working to expand our selection of experiences worldwide. Additionally, our customer support team is always available to assist you in finding your preferred experiences. Even if they are not yet listed on our website, they might be available on our partners' websites.
2. As a gifting company, we aim to make our gift boxes unique and straightforward. The price of the gift box isn’t displayed because all included experiences fall within the same value range and can be booked once. However, if recipients prefer something outside their gifted package, they have the flexibility to exchange their gift for Tinggly credit (the full value of the gift) to choose from our broader selection.
3. We provide full refunds for unused gifts purchased within the past 30 days. If a gift has already been used to book an experience, cancellation policies are determined by the specific provider. In most cases, cancellations are possible up to 24 hours before the scheduled experience.
