Ok experience could do better
Delivery becomes a fully Tesco fiasco departments mistakes. Just click and collect or shop into the store maybe still be good idea.
Before the covid-19 Tesco groceries was the best.Last night they not only come late to deliver my food, they also fail to because somebody change my address in their system. Very be careful, maybe here is an issue as was happened with personal details as previously happened with boots. Pheraps whatever is the fault,I can't trust anymore when my personal details was intentionally change in the same night delivery when they aren't do their job at all. Totally tesco team deparment futility.
So much for "every little helps"
I am showing my email exchange with Tescos to explain the title of my review. They now have a solution to questions they do not wish to answer:
"Ignore them". (NOTE the email address they recommend for customers to use is supposedly for the CEO). Obviously this policy is recommended from the very top of the organisation. (To this day (30/01/21) they have not answered my question).

Regarding email below, I have still not received a response to my complaint regarding the format of your order confirmation. To reiterate, until a year ago your confirmation was sent with single line spacing. Since then it has changed so that if you wish to print a copy it now takes five pages rather than two. How about transferring your favourite slogan into practice by providing a printer friendly option with a print tab?
Mike Davies
P.S. If you check this link you will see Tesco still quotes a Dave Lewis email address. Will everyone know it is automatically re-routed to the above address. So are you not deliberately misleading customers?

N........, It might be a good idea to make sure that Customer Service staff are aware of this email address. I originally phoned them to complain about not providing a printer friendly order list. In so doing I was very surprised that Tesco do not have a formal documented procedure for handling complaints rather than defaulting to Customer Services who are ill equipped for this task (not their fault). Such information should be featured prominently on your website. This would undoubtedly improve your customer image and convince them that “every little does indeed help”. Note I am trying to provide useful feedback as an existing Tesco customer.
If I am wrong please let me know where I can find it as I appear to have failed miserably! On a good note, I am very impressed by your quick and helpful response. This is not always matched by your major competitors.
Kind regards, Mike.

Dear Mr xxxxxx
Thank you for getting back to me.
The best email address for our department is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com sorry that it was quite difficult to find a working email address, this is something I have raised with the relevant teams to ensure that all customers find it simple when contacting us.
Thank you again

Deliverys from Tesco's are so poor
Deliverys at the moment are terrible. The drivers in E16 leave your shopping on the floor in baskets that are dirty. As soon as your in sight the walk off mumbling about substitutes
No masks are being worn
Items missing
Items you didnt order in your basket and bad substitutes
Very poor service that need lots of improvement
So maybe you can look into this Scot Miller
Always had a great experience dealing…
Always had a great experience dealing with tescos online and phone. Good and pleasant customer service people. Never had a problem in many years.
I am a 'real' mum working in these…
I am a 'real' mum working in these trying times in ICU in the NHS. I was really upset going to my local store following a trying shift with my 2 year old son to find there were no parent and child spaces, to my dismay a young couple went to their car in a 'parent and child space' with NO children and one small carrier of shopping. Not to be funny but I parked in a disabled bay Im sure there would be much to say about it. At lease ASDA proclaim to fine these people £70, Tesco couldn't care less. To top it off in my haste I didnt do the pay as you shop so when I went to the till I wasn't asked 'do you have a clubcard' and totally forgot to hand it in. With this new clubcard price buisness I ended up paying more than I should of and the woman on the till was so unhelpful, just told me to go to customer service to sort it out. Sorry but after 12 hours slog in PPE and a tired toddler to deal with I think not. Lesson learnt best stick to the stores that care for their customers.
ryde isle of wigth store
just been into the ryde store and had the worst ever experience at the till, yes i know it's trying times but a manners are surly not difficult. when i ask if the lady could speak up as i'm hard of hearing she turned her head away and muttered something, and the way she handled the shopping i think she was trying to damage the goods the way thy came down the checkout
total fail on customer service and tesco's image as a respectable company
Staff need to be more sensitive
Tesco is the nearest supermarket to me, and on the whole it is ok though I do wish all retail stores would have disability awareness classes. I have a bad hearing problem and one girl was good at first but then at the self checkout she needed to confirm that I was old enough for one item. she came up behind and pushed me out of the way I told her it is no good coming up behind a deaf person and speaking as they cant hear you it would have been better if she had come to the front or side. She did not seem happy about this, and started talking away to me not one word of this I heard so I have no idea if she was been rude, or nice. Though as I said this attitude is not just Tesco's but all over. I have worn T shirts and Sweatshirts saying I am hard of hearing even badges which most people take no notice of at all. After reading about other people with disabilities having bad experience with people, it comes to no surprise but I ask please people be more understanding its not as if we ask to have a disability.
Oh one problem with Tesco veg please make sure all your items are on the scales I tried to get tomatoes but I wasn't able too as your scales had not heard of tomatoes
its ok
all the staff are very friendly as for the security guard he was just very grumpy
Good stores
Good stores, i have been in many branches all over Europe and i always find some thing or another to buy and try ... :)
Bad online shop experience.
Bad online shop experience.
Had order booked for 4th December am. 3rd December went to amend order as usual. Impossible to do this. Tried several times on app and logging in on pc. No luck. Luckily I was able to get slot with Asda got 5th December but it cost £7 whereas I have Tesco pass.
Cancelled Tesco and emailed them
In the evening had call from pleasant lady who was obviously under constraints as to what she could say.
Passing matter to IT.
I now see from other sites that this is common problem.
Why can't Tesco be honest and and advise loyal customers that they have a problem
Rubbish 1st try at Tesco’s click & collect
Ordered click & collect Thurs 26th first available date was 1/12. Drove 9 miles from home to collect. Arrived at my allocated time. Order was bought out to me to only find out that all they had was £8 of chocolate. The other items not available. ??? I could change the order up to 23.46 night before. They couldn’t email me to advise me of out of stock items. Worst one of my trial at on line shopping. Sainsbury’s are well ahead of Tesco’s. Won’t be using them again.
I went into the tesco express in…
I went into the tesco express in Newport Town centre on Sat 14.11.20 about 2 ish and witnessed a male staff member talking about a female staff member to customers. He was being extremely rude and disrespectful about the female staff member totaly slating her to the customers. I felt extremely uncomfortable and did not know what to do or were to look. I have never witnessed a tesco member of staff do this and he has really let tesco down. All I could do was feel so sorry for the female member of staff that he was talking about. I certainly hope who ever she was she is OK.
My delivery was cancelled last Friday…
My delivery was cancelled last Friday no explanation so phoned up they said the van had broken down and couldn't deliver to me. Least they give me a bit of notice.
Ok these things happen and managed to get to the supermarket.
Then the next week I was waiting for my my shopping to arrive between 5 and 6 it got to 6.20 no shopping. I phoned and they said he was running late had three more drops to do and he should be with me within the next half an hour. Fast forward an hour still no shopping. i phoned back to see what was happening and lo and behold my shopping had been cancelled because the van has broken down AGAIN!!!! Seriously who has that many vans that breakdown constantly. No phone call to say my shopping wasn't arriving no phone call to say that he was going to be late the first time round when I phoned. I had to phone three times to get my money back because nobody would refund the money that had been taken out. I then had to borrow money to go and do my shopping with a newborn baby that's why I wanted it delivering in the first place. I understand that things are happening in the world right now but please don't say that you can deliver food and have delivery slots if you've got no intentions of doing it and I'm not buying that their vans were broken down twice in 2 weeks. When I eventually got through to a manager it was a .com manager and not an actual manager nobody was available. Customer service was pretty bad. Not a care in the world.
I went into Tescos in sandy…
I went into Tescos in sandy Bedfordshire this evening to do my shopping and was delighted to be served by a lovely young lady called Hollie-Anne, i would like to just mention the fact she was very approachable, had amazing customer service and she greeted me with a huge smile while in the tough times is a breath of fresh air.
Rip off alert - Thieving loyalty card scheme - avoid
I rarely use Tescos. Was appalled to see the yellow signs everywhere in store for special prices for Club Card members. These ,"lower," prices are identical to the normal prices at other supermarkets, and those unfortunate enough to pay the full price are being fleeced. £1.50 more for a tub of ice-cream. Unjustifiable. I will never set foot in one of your stores again.
Tesco No: 1 Operator.
Tesco, East Didsbury, Manchester. UK
Checkout operator Jeanette is the one that you want. She oozes charm and friendliness and gives you the degree of assistance you require. From unpacking the trolley to packing the bags. All done with air of sophistication and helpfulness.

Rude staff!
Tesco Express Staines Road, Turpin green lane, Feltham TW14 0JY.
It doesn't matter how convenient and stocked the store is when you have to deal with rude staff.
I was asked to wear a mask and explained that I have a medical exemption.
The 2 ladies at the till asked to see a medical certificate.
Out of courtesy I showed them my exemption card but they said it's not valid, only a certificate from a gp validates the exemption.
I pointed out to them that there's no such requirement in the law.
They rudely asked why I was exempt and I told them that they're not supposed to ask.
They insisted that I needed a letter from a gp.
I left them to their chit chat and went to the independent corner shop opposite.
Tesco, you should train your staff, shame on you.
Thank you Tesco
Thank you Tesco, thanks for keeping us safe and fed 😊
Tesco chuck man out for asking another customer to put his mask back on
I was doing my weekly shopping at tesco when a man had a mask around his neck coughed within a metre of me. I asked him to put his face covering on. Then two members of staff asked me to leave the store and no one had to wear a mask if they want. I mentioned its mandatory for public to wear mask on five occasions as I was leaving the store and the staff was saying people don't have to wear a mask if your shopping. I've been complaining for a month now to tescos to no avail. Very poor customer care and complaints procedure.
