I used Tees removals as the Trust Pilot reviews were excellent (4.9), however as my experience was so bad I think some of these reviews must be fake. I took out the liability insurance for £35 however after the move they wouldn't allow me to claim for items damaged in the move. They damaged my washing machine as the transporter feet weren't used, later my fridge freezer stopped working, there were scuffs to the freshly painted walls in my new house and the sofa cushions were covered in dust as were in the back of the removals van and not in dust bags as promised. I had to buy new appliances which cost over £1,000, they said I needed to have called a plumber however the call out charge would have been £120 for both appliances (total £240) and they were clearly damaged and not worth a call out charge to be told that. Later I discovered there were smashed plates and other kitchenware which were expensive fragile items and although they had been boxed well with packaging and labelled as fragile, hadn't been treated with enough care. On the removals day the men arrived smoking in their van and continued to smoke cigarettes throughout the day whilst handing my furniture which I thought was totally unprofessional. They didn't get all of my furniture in the house so I had to call my family to come and help me, they also didn't get all the heavy boxes of books upstairs so again my family helped with that and I struggled to do it alone. When I called about the damaged washing machine at the start they were so defensive that I decided I didn't want the hassle so paid out for new appliances, they were all purchased new in 2020 and all in good working order the day before I moved house.
I lived in Nottingham for over 30 years and would have appreciated more respect as a customer and for my furniture to have been treated with more care and to have been able to claim on the liability insurance.

I cannot praise this company enough! Today they moved my sister from her flat to her new home. My sister has some disabilities and was feeling extremely anxious about the move, however after meeting Trevor and Pete who were completing the move she felt comfortable to just let them get on with it, and allowed me to take her to her new home and wait for everything to arrive. Both Trevor and Pete were so lovely and extremely helpful my sister’s belongings were treated with respect and placed where she wanted them, they plumbed the washer in after disconnecting it from her old home which was an added bonus! Throughout the whole experience they were kind and courteous and asked how my sister was feeling, they were truly amazing and a credit to their boss. If you’re looking for a company to treat your possessions and loved ones with kindness and respect and all at a reasonable price then look no further than this one, they definitely tick all the boxes.

I can’t say thank you enough to Tees removals - they all deserve 6 stars. Danny/Betty were very helpful sorting out the quote and all the follow up questions I had. Both parents have various health problems, and all of the team (and I mean ALL of them) were absolutely amazing on the day and very considerate of their needs. The packing, done the day before, was also done quickly and professionally. This was all done in a really friendly, considerate way, even when we were throwing curve balls at them along the way. Absolutely faultless. Highly recommended. Honestly, believe the other reviews - Tees are brilliant.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Tees Removals for a very professional experience. Connor and Turbo was very friendly, organised and looked after all our things with care and respect. Will definitely recommend you again!

We moved from a 2 bed to a 4 bed house and the team were friendly, helpful and proactive throughout. The quote was clear and straightforward, unlike others that we had and at a competitive price. Even though the team stayed late on moving in day to unload everything for us and put our beds together, they came back a couple of days later to assemble wardrobes for us too.

We would definitely recommend Tee’s removals.

We moved from a three to a four bed and across counties. Very efficient haven't found anything that's broken and it's mostly unpacked now.

We had the beds / furniture down and back up again service and it was very smooth.

Very good removal firm; we opted to have only our furniture removed (not boxes of belongings) because we had some overlap between properties and could do the boxes ourselves. The team (Kyle, Trev and Connor) arrived when expected, worked hard and efficiently and got the job done quickly. It started to rain very heavily while they were working and they managed to keep our things dry despite difficult working conditions.

The only reason I've left this as 4 stars instead of 5 relates to the admin side - they were very efficient providing a quote, but didn't contact me close to the move date and I hadn't had an invoice, so I was chasing for this very close to the date because payment was due at least 24 hours beforehand. However, I think this may have been pressure of work and they were pleasant about it when I rang - I'd just had a few collywobbles in case the fact that I hadn't had the invoice meant they hadn't booked me in properly, since I didn't have much confirmation that they were coming, and at what time, until I chased for it.

Excellent removal company. Turned up on time at 7.30 am and was all packed up and finished at 10am. Couldn't believe how fast they moved us out then into the new property. Nothing damaged and all furniture and fragile things wrapped very professionally. Highly recommended to take the stress out of moving

I’m so glad I chose this company. Polite, friendly, cheerful, professional service from start to finish. Made an inevitably stressful time just that little be it easier. Would definitely recommend.

We had not moved for about 30 years and were not sure how to arrange everything now but from giving us a quote for moving us from Nottingham to Exmouth the whole team of staff have been brilliant.
We sold our house quicker than we thought but Danny was still able to arrange it all for us with only a few days notice. Conner's happy team turned up on time every day and were always very professional. We would recommend them to anyone.

Wow! From start to finish Danny and the team have given nothing but an amazing service, talking through options. Taking the time to explain the quote and offering advice along with clearing a house packed with stuff 160 miles to unload over 3 floors, the lads were always smiling laughing, and offering advice along with asking questions on where to put our various belongings!
