I did a 2x 15 min session
I did a 2x 15 min session, i’ve tried many petrol karts before so the electric cars were a fun experience, the track is a bit slippy making it easier to drift which is what i did plenty, the adviser Matt was super friendly and i spun out (rare occasion) he gave me some nice friendly advice and sent me back on my way, enjoyed it so much i did another 15 min
Charged more to my card than they should
Just booked a session online and it didn't process my gift voucher properly so it billed my card the full amount. I called up immediately (within less than a minute) and was just told it's tough, they won't refund the payment or apply the voucher. Their customer service is probably the worst I've experienced in a long time. The lady just kept repeating their terms and conditions. They apparently have no complaints procedure either. Wouldn't allow me to speak to a manager or more senior level. So they've taken more of my money than they were supposed to and there's nothing I can do about it. Definitely won't be booking with Teamsport again in future.
Amazing
Amazing, efficient and very professional team. Very friendly and exciting experience. Thank you.
⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointing experience with TeamSport
My experience with TeamSport Edmonton has been incredibly disappointing, and the way customer service has handled my complaint afterwards has only made matters worse.
I travelled approximately an hour to TeamSport Edmonton and arrived 15 minutes before my race after being delayed by a road accident. I am a regular TeamSport customer who races at Docklands, where I had consistently been told that I did not need to attend the standard briefing each time I raced, provided I had met the relevant requirements.
When I arrived, Elfrida immediately told me I was too late and would not be allowed to race. I then spoke to Luke, who was dismissive of my explanations and unwilling to properly consider my racing history. Despite having raced at TeamSport the previous week and having a history of numerous visits, I felt there was no genuine effort to help resolve the situation.
What made matters worse was overhearing Luke afterwards referring to having two “aggy customers” he had turned away and laughing about it. I found this completely unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour, particularly from someone in a managerial position.
I contacted TeamSport’s online customer service team to clarify the briefing rules and was given yet another explanation. When I asked for a link to the official policy, I was told, “Trust me - as long as I can remember this is the case.”
However, TeamSport subsequently confirmed in writing that neither Club nor Elite members are required to complete a full briefing at every individual venue. This confirms that the information I had received was inconsistent.
After waiting over a week for my complaint to be investigated, TeamSport acknowledged that I had received conflicting information and that my rebrief licence was missing from my account, potentially due to an administrative oversight. Yet they could not explain why it was missing, who was responsible, or precisely how it happened.
Despite having access to my account and racing history, TeamSport has continued to stand by the outcome at Edmonton and has refused to reopen or further escalate the complaint. Although they confirmed that my concerns about Luke and Elfrida were reviewed by senior management, they have provided no further meaningful assurance about the outcome.
Their final offer was one complimentary race, which I am willing to accept, but I do not consider this adequate compensation for the inconvenience and overall experience. It does not address the underlying issues or the way I was treated.
The biggest disappointment is the complete lack of meaningful accountability. TeamSport has acknowledged inconsistent communication and a possible administrative error, yet I am the one who travelled an hour, lost the opportunity to race and had to spend considerable time chasing answers.
I expected considerably more from a company of this size and reputation. Customers should not receive different answers depending on which venue or member of staff they speak to, nor should they feel that complaints about staff conduct are simply being brushed aside.
This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in TeamSport. When my current membership expires, I will be taking my custom elsewhere.
I hope TeamSport takes this feedback seriously, because based on my experience, there is significant room for improvement in both customer service and accountability.
Booked a experience for me and my son…
Booked a experience for me and my son for some time together with a couple of hours to go till race time got a phone call to say that there was no staff for the event would have to take a credit note and do the race another day .when we rang to book the same event they said it was no longer available when we asked for a refund said it may take two weeks to process two big for there boots don’t care I did have a experience but not a good one .well done team sport karting for nothing.
Marshals need some checkered flags…
Teamsport Warrington Marshals need some checkered flags think they lost what they had, Attitude also got lost 🤔 regards.
We had a wonderful experience at…
We had a wonderful experience at Teamsport Karting! I came here with my daughter for the mini races, and Lexi, one of the staff members, was absolutely lovely. She took the time to explain everything to my daughter and helped us so kindly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. My daughter really liked Lexi because she was so friendly and nice to us. It’s always lovely to meet someone who makes children feel comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend Teamsport Karting to other mums looking for a fun activity to enjoy with their children. We had a great time and would definitely come back! 😊
Absolutely disgusting customer care…
Absolutely disgusting customer care from this company
Children all within height (measured before booking), drove over an hour & cost over £200 for the session to be told that couldn’t race because they didn’t have any smaller carts available for the session. Left 3 neurodivergent kids extremely distressed & disappointed.
They take your payment instantly but takes 2 WEEKS for a refund is absolutely unacceptable. No one to escalate it & when you ring told nothing can do, ridiculous.
Beware of TeamSport’s voucher upsell
Beware of TeamSport’s voucher upsell! They offer you £20 worth of vouchers at the end of your session, but when you try to use them, they charge an extra £5.75. Make sure you check the terms before buying. Very misleading and disappointing!
Preston
Preston. Great Karts, great track, good facilities.
Racing itself was a poor experience. We spent way more time under red and yellow lights than we did under green. I was black flagged for being too agressive which lost me 2 laps - apparently your'e not supposed to go all out to race! If you're lucky enough to be with people who can drive it's probably great but people spinning off every 30 seconds puts a real downer on the 'race'.
Extortionate cafe prices.

Fun while we were allowed to race but spent almost two minutes standing still at one point. While the steward spoke to someone. Then the rest of the time on a flashing orange light! Very frustrating and unfortunately £50 to sit in a go kart isn’t great value
First time karter
First time karter, the booking and introduction was simple and efficient, Aiden was understanding and kept things simple! will come back again.
(BIKC), and the serious failures
My son’s participation in the British Indoor Karting Championship, and the serious failures and in competencies in communication, administration and customer care that have resulted in him being told, just two days before the regional finals, that he will no longer be able to compete.
My son qualified from the local finals at TeamSport West Acton on 14 September 2026, with the regional finals scheduled to take place at Farnborough on 10 October 2026.
Understandably, we were extremely proud of his achievement. He was excited about progressing to the next stage and had every reason to believe that he had successfully qualified.
In preparation, I booked him into a practice session at Farnborough on 19 September 2026, as an intermediate driver. The sole purpose of this booking was to allow him to familiarise himself with the Farnborough circuit ahead of the regional finals.
However, after travelling approximately 60 miles and arriving at Farnborough at approximately 8:30am on a Sunday, we were told by TeamSport staff that, because he was attending Farnborough for BIKC practice, he could not race there as an intermediate driver.
This immediately raises a fundamental question:
Why was I permitted to make this booking in the first place if TeamSport's systems or rules meant that he was not eligible to participate in intermediate?
There was absolutely no reason for us to make a 60-mile journey and arrive at the circuit before discovering this information. Had the restriction been communicated to me when making the booking, I would obviously have made alternative arrangements.
Despite this, I subsequently booked three further sessions at Farnborough as an advanced driver, specifically with the intention of preparing my son for the regional finals on 10 October.
At no point during this process was I told that there was an issue with his qualification or eligibility to participate in the regional finals.
We therefore continued to invest our time, money and effort on the entirely reasonable understanding that my son had qualified and would be competing.
Then, on the afternoon of 8 October 2026 — just two days before the regional finals — I received a telephone call informing me that my son had apparently not qualified for the regional finals it was an error and that I had been issued a refund. I find this wholly unacceptable.
If my son had not qualified, why was this not identified and communicated immediately following the local finals on 14 September?
Why was I allowed to book multiple practice sessions at Farnborough?
I spent additional money preparing him for a competition he was apparently not eligible to enter!
Why was this only identified and communicated to me on 8 October, immediately before the event?
These are not minor administrative discrepancies. Taken together, they demonstrate a serious failure of TeamSport's processes.
I want to make clear that this is not simply a dispute about a refund or the cost of karting sessions.
My son is autistic, and the emotional impact of this situation on him has been significant.
He had every reason to believe that he had qualified for the regional finals. He had been preparing for them, attending practice sessions and looking forward to competing. This was an achievement that meant a great deal to him.
Having to tell him, at the very last minute, that he would not be racing resulted in him being extremely distressed and caused him a great deal of harm and the trust he once had in TeamSport thinking they had his best interest, is no longer.
The disappointment he has experienced is particularly difficult to accept when it appears that the situation could have been avoided entirely through basic checks, accurate information and effective communication had there been robust processes in place.
No child should have their expectations, excitement and sense of achievement taken away at the last minute because of failures in an organisation's administrative processes.
TeamSport has been running the BIKC competition for years. I therefore find it very difficult to understand how a child's qualification and eligibility could apparently remain unresolved through the local finals, subsequent practice bookings and multiple visits to the Farnborough track, only to be identified two days before the regional finals that he will not be competing now we are sorry.
Awful experience
First experience was terrible due to idiots on the track. It was my 1st time so im going to be nervous and slow. And some were waving their hands at me as if to say "What you doing" making me feel like I shouldn't be on there and one of the members "Noah karting YT" even stuck his fingers up. There were a few who banged you by accident and apologised which is understandable and then their were others who take it far too seriously and others ram you to get you out the way. I didnt even do my 2nd session because they made me feel like rubbish. They should definitely be better categories for beginners and "Idiots who wanna ram people who get in their way" categories. My birthday gift ruined and I was so excited. Was going to book a group session with work but we've decided against it now. Very disappointed. There should have been 9 of us on the track and 10 members joined on and ruined it. There were a nice mix of children and women on others and I felt in the lions den. Even a regular said to us it was a bad one. So anyone who wants to go for a bit of fun, or a bit nervous I wouldn't bother, seriously. On a positive, the staff on reception were lovely and helpful.
Visited Harlow teamsport a few times…
Visited Harlow teamsport a few times including today staff are friendly and safety seems good. The karts are well prepared and issues seem to get fixed quick. Have had positive experiences with all staff (Xenia very helpful). It’s a little expensive the first time but if you buy the race again vouchers it’s a little more affordable
our host sammy was great
So much potential at Sheffield…
So much potential at Sheffield teamsport, but unfortunately it seems like it’s being run into the ground, late starting the sessions, place is starting to look tired and the karts are dire, did 3 sessions with 3 different karts which were as bad as each other, slow, poor brakes and handling. It’s a real shame as I used to be a regular at Sheffield but after this last trip I don’t think il return which is a shame :( staff were trying there best and were friendly and helpful, this is the only reason it’s not a 1 star.
Karts are still poor and falling apart
Turned up for a members night, was very quiet, the karts are still very down on power and obviously no maintenance as they was failing apart, they was struggling to start and just in really bad condition. I still enjoyed my time there just think if they put some time and money in to the karts then the amount of people would come back. The staff was helpful
My son had a great day at TeamSport…
My son had a great day at TeamSport Acton. Instructors are fully committed to giving the drivers a great time and learning lots at the same time. Their dedication is to be admired.
Great experience
Great experience, we visited the Harlow track, staff are very friendly, especially a lady called Izzy, made us feel welcome and was very reassuring!!
Would definitely come back
