I was a bit wary of placing an order due to some of the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did. It took a little longer than expected to deliver (a couple of days), but when I emailed to ask they got straight back to me and were bang on with their estimate. I'd definitely buy from them again.

Excellent customer service and a great selection of merchandise. Highly recommend based upon a great experience I had for a difficult to find part.

Utterly terrible all round .
Ordered items on 26th April .
Heard nothing other than the confirmation email on the same Day .
E mailed on 8th of My to ask where it was ,got 0 response.
Called on the 9th and when I said the item said in stock he claimed it meant " at suppliers " .
He then said he would get back to me that day
NOTHING
Called on the 10 to cancel the order .
Got am email confirming cancellation .
Yesterday the item arrived and I'm guessing the refund will never happen .I now have to go out my way to send this damn thing back
Avoid these clowns if you can .

Bought a set of cranks i couldnt get my hands on for over a year, came with 4 days. Good price, no issues. 5 stars - email marketing could be a bit more targeted but still good

I ordered a GRX crankset on Monday, and it arrived on Wednesday. Far cheaper than anywhere else. Thanks to Swinnerton Cycles.

Called them to ask if a certain item comes with a certain accessory. Instead, the person on the phone insisted to ask me questions about my bike and trying to make me feel bad for having this bike.
I guess they really wanted to sell me a bike?

Also, the delivery was really slow. I got an email that my payment's gone through but then nothing for a week.
I called them and they said they'll look into it.
Then, I finally got my item...

Finally: When trying to put the same review into the review system they integrated with their site - it won't let me post a negative review - that's probably why they have a HUGE difference between their score here and their site :)

Ordered a 30 tooth boost chainring, the first item sent was a 30 tooth non-boost chainring, they're excuse "it's an easy mistake to make" this item was returned, the replacement sent is now a 32 tooth boost chainring.
They're not getting a third chance to get it right, full refund requested.
I worry about their knowledge and competence if the so called experts can not get simple things like part numbers correct.
My advice would be to avoid.

I've had nothing but hassle from Swinnerton cycles!
The customer service is some of the worst I've experienced, say they will get back to you today and don't bother, leaving you to chase, my order had missing items, trying to get said missing items is very difficult, ended up with me going through PayPal, case is still ongoing, current status is they will only send missing items if I cancel the case first! What if I then don't receive the items or they arrive but are incorrect? PayPal is the only insurance I have, usually the case would be closed once it's resolved, not close the case then hope Swinnerton keep their word, which they haven't to date!!
I'll never use again.

Total waste of time. One week after placing an order I had to call them to find out that the item was not in stock (even though it was when ordered). They did not respond to emails.
A refund was issued with "Sorry about that" message.

Fast, friendly and Efficient customer service when dealing with a Warranty return and replacement with their supplier. Really really impressed. Can’t fault them. Thank you so much.

Found a heavily reduced item on google search and since I hadn’t heard of them checked on here and seen the poor reviews.
Decided to give them a try anyway since had security of PayPal and the items were delivered 2 days later to Northern Ireland
Had to come back here to give them their dues, with the cost and service it’s one of the best online shopping experiences I’ve had 👍🏻

Ordered a DMR pedal shaft off the web site and it arrived incorrect, I called them and apparently I ordered V1 and not the V2 which there is no mention of this on the web site or the invoice. It cost £6.50 for the part with yep £5.00 carriage, I then paid £3.00 to return it. I expected a credit of £11.50 and would have to suck up the return cost, but no I was only credited for the part which due to a poor listing was incorrect. Clearly I paid more in postage for a part they can now have and can sell on.

So… these people had the best price for a set of eBike lights, but I checked Trust pilot and very nearly didn’t go ahead due to all the bad reviews (I did as it appears to be the eshop of a physical bike shop, so some comeback if problems).

For me the service was perfect, lights as described, well packed, posted immediately and a great price, couldn’t be happier.

Wow, some of these reviews are the exact opposite of the shopping experience I have had with Swinnerton's. Communication has been excellent both by telephone and email. Delivery is as stated, 3-5 working days. They stock a diverse range of products, stuff that is not available with some of their bigger competitors.
Most important of all, I made a mistake with one order, sent the item back, received a phone call to see if help could be given with sourcing correct item, and was quickly given a credit for the item when this could not be arranged.
This is a genuine review, I used to own a bike shop, and Swinnerton's have worked to the same high standards that I once strived to achieve.

The customer service at this company is "APPALLING" !! They refuse to speak on the phone , will only deal by e-mail, and lack any form of honesty ....

The initial problem was forgivable , anyone can make a mistake , Judge someone on how they deal with the problem ....
I am afraid it is on the lack of Support I would never recommend this company to a Cyclist....

Total joke!! Absolutely appalling customer service. I ordered a stem which hadn't arrived after a week. After enquiring about it, they didn't even have the courtesy to phone me back. Now cancelled.

Don't use these people for postal deliveries as they do not respond to emails when you don't receive what you pay for ordered part 14th now 27th sent by DHL who keep putting off delivery told them about it & they have not replied or intervened.

I placed an order on 23 February for a dura ace cassette for 542.95€ (order ID 70130). Craig tells me on March 7th that the product is not in stock. I asked for a refund on 10 March, I followed up on 16 March and 28 March. They ignore the customers' e-mails. I therefore informed the French DGCCRF and the English ECC-NET by registered mail today. You should not order on this website which does not consider its customers. It's so sad.

I ordered a part that on it's own cost the price of a cheap bicycle. They suddenly added £15 on top for postage for no apparent reason. When I contacted them about it they were rude and dismissive and simply cancelled my order even though I had not asked them to.

I since notice that their online review metrics form an anomalous pattern. There is a lot of five star reviews and then a bunch of one-star reviews but nothing in-between. This suggests that their greatest skill is creative writing.
