We would like to thank everyone involved , Howard (surveyor) delivery drivers and customer service.
Laurence made the fitting look easy , as all good tradesmen do .
We can’t believe the difference the furniture has made to our rooms .
Thank you Mr Mrs Morris

We have just had a wall bed fitted in our guest bedroom and we could not be more pleased with the entire experience with Strachan. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved: Customer Service, Malcolm (design consultant), Howard (surveyor), Dave the delivery driver and Laurence our fitter. They have all been very professional and a delight to work with. Laurence did an exceptional job, arriving punctually, wonderful installation and a pleasure to make coffee for! A very happy chappy, he left the room spotless during the installation and when the job was complete.
We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

This is the best company I have ever used. We have had bedroom wardrobes fitted, as well as a study area in our new house. It was expensive but the results are perfect and enhance the rooms. The customer experience was exactly how it ought to be; with helpful & totally efficient office staff, & punctual and professional workers. Delighted to recommend this company and only sorry that they don't fit kitchens as well!

We have used Strachan before for a full fitted bedroom- the results were well beyond expectation- superb!

Now in a new home we needed a small insert into an alcove in a guest bedroom to give much needed storage. Stewart, a Senior Designer, was amazing and envisaged immediately what we needed while making most of the space and looking fabulous! Our new furniture was installed seamlessly, looks as if it always belonged in this room, is of immensely superior quality and the fitting was clean, precise and beautiful. Can’t believe what a difference it has made to this room and can’t thank Strachan enough- efficient, classy, and professional. I wouldn’t consider anyone else to fit our furniture.

We have been very satisfied in all our dealings with Strachan and are pleased to recommend the company. The fitters were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the kind office staff.

We chose Strachan following a previous excellent installation of bedroom units in our last property. Once again the process was smooth and professional, office staff were efficient in answering queries, the design process was expertly done, and Dmitri the installer was meticulous at the sharp end. Thank you to all involved for an excellent job.

The moment we decided to use Strachan's, we found the whole process from planning to the instillation of the Verona fitted bedroom furniture range, seamless.
The company kept us informed at every stage either by phone or emails and our fitter Laurence, was polite and considerate whilst he was in our home.
We would highly recommend this company not only for their products but also professional approach towards their customers.

We are very pleased with the installation and the final appearance of the wardrobes and chest of drawers. The quality is excellent and reflects the cost. The service we received including viewing in the showroom, the visit by the area representative who helped us design the bedroom furniture to fit the room and the installation process was excellent.

Peter who fitted the wardrobes was punctual, completed the work to a high standard and left the room clean and tidy once he had finished.

There were a couple of issues with a wardrobe door and shoe rack but these were quickly resolved to our satisfaction

I would use Strachan again for fitted furniture.

I recently had a dressing room fitted. The planning stage was thorough and the design created met all my expectations. The fitter arrived on time and worked to a very high standard throughout the week of the installation. His workmanship was excellent. After sales care was second to none. The dressing room /drawers in the Principal bedroom look amazing and are much admired. I highly recommend Strachan Furniture for providing a first rate service.

If you have a complex job or want higher quality than the high street offering, just go to Strachan. We had a very challenging design and they just didn't stop until it was right. Expensive? Yes. But you get what you pay for. Excellent design + excellent customer service = excellent end result.

I recently had my bedroom wardrobes fitted by Strachan and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The original sales consultant who visited was brilliant—really friendly, knowledgeable, and helped create a design that suited both my style and space perfectly. Throughout the process, head office kept in regular contact to ensure I was happy with everything, which was a really reassuring touch. The fitter did an excellent job installing the wardrobes with great attention to detail and care. I’m absolutely delighted with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Strachan to anyone looking for high-quality, professional service.

Commitment to excellence and professionalism.
The attention to detail and the quality of the product, and the level of customer service were all top-notch.
We are thrilled with our bespoke Library.
I highly recommend Strachan to anyone seeking unique bespoke furniture. Their work is truly exceptional.
Thanks to the entire team from start to finish that was involved in making our library a success.
We Love it!

Friendly, professional and helpful. Did everything as expected to a high standard.

I am extremely pleased with my furniture installation. The quality of the cabinets etc is excellent.

I had work done in three rooms in my small house and it feels transformed.

Lawrence Strong has been wonderful.

Excellent craftmanship, attention to detail and very tidy. He is also a very pleasant chap and easy to have in the house.

Strachan have just finished (30.04.25) installing a Murphy bed and other fitted furniture into our small box room.

I have to say my wife and I are very impressed with the end result and everyone we have dealt with from Strachan have been very polite and accommodating.

Steve the fitter was brilliant. An excellent worker who worked from 8.00am until nearly 7.00pm! Well impressed.

Our expectations were far exceeded so much so I am considering having our other bedrooms fitted by Strachan.

Highly recommended.

Where to even start with the shambles that is Strachan? Suffice to say our project began on 21 November last year and is still unfinished six months later.

We had used Strachan several years ago to design and build a home office. All went well, if expensively, and we had no misgivings about using the company again when we moved house last autumn. Four rooms needed built-in furniture.

The initial designs were extremely disappointing and required radical changes. Rather than send the designer back to reappraise and make changes, it fell to me to redesign the units in lengthy phone calls, requiring hours of my time and energies. This meant endless delays with revisions to CAD drawings going back and forth. Installation was originally scheduled for January but didn't take place until the middle of March.

Our entire house was filled with packs of furniture, delivered and installed in the order that suited Strachan, not us their customers.

The final straw was the fitting of new internals ro an existing wardrobe. The brief was simple: to replicate the design in our master bedroom. Instead an ill-fitting botched construction was installed which used up a great deal of storage space unnecessarily. We were told this would be corrected on 17th April and I spent a full day emptying the wardrobe of its contents and finding other spaces to store them. Strachan then announced that new CAD drawings were being prepared and a new unit would be built. Cue the reinstallation of all my clothes etc, another wasted 3 hours.

And that is the story so far. I still dont have a finished wardrobe and have no idea when I will. Strachan have had some £60,000 of our money and have never once apologised for their incompetence and inefficiency. One can only assume that a fiasco of this order is commonplace. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely brilliant! I can't recommend the company highly enough, everyone we came into contact with throughout the process of refurbishing our bedroom was professional, very helpful and extremely competent. Next time we need a room refreshing we'll certainly use Strachan.

Strachan has been our "go to" Company for all our refurbishment projects for 9 years. I only wish they also did kitchens!
They have created for us a new library, a large dressing room, a complete bedroom refit, and new wardrobes and drawers etc. for 3 other bedrooms.
All have been completed exactly to our requirements, and they have been happy to come up with solutions for anything unusual. Everything is bespoke and therefore fits perfectly. They can copy any colour that you can give them a sample for. The basic units are made in their factory, but it is a skilled carpenter who comes to fit and finish the job.
They have always been very easy to work with from the initial consultant, and the project managers, through to the surveyor, the delivery guys, and the carpenter. Our thanks go to Colin, Katy, everyone who has been involved in our projects, and especially to Steve for building us yet more beautiful wardrobes!

I had 2 quotes for my office refurb at home. I chose Strachan as they were quick to respond, professional and not pushy. They kept me informed every step of the way of dates for fitting etc. The fitter arrived on time each day for the 2 day installation. He was very courteous, tidy and respectful. He did a fantastic job and I love my new office environment. I would definitely use Strachan again as they were brilliant.

We had a walk-in dressing room fitted out for our teenage daughter. Strachan were excellent from start to finish. The design was easier to visualise when compared to two other competitors we also sought quotes from - the 3D computer model shown on the day of the initial visit was very vaulable (esp to a teenage girl, who is used to looking at things on a screen, and not paper). The finalisation of the design was smooth. Fitting happened on the days when they said it would happen, and was undertaken by a proper craftsman who could actually use his tools to ensure a bespoke finish. Overall, very happy indeed.
