I've posted for 4 years, but I recently switched profiles because so many blocked me for telling the truth (they didn't want to hear that a company was going Expert and it finally did). Anyway, today I lightly shaded Trump in one post and was almost instantly indefinitely banned from posting ANYTHING. Didn't harass or use foul language, no racism, sexism, etc. Not even a warning, just 'BAM', you now can't post ANYTHING. However, there is a guy on another stock who constantly rips Biden and, you guessed it, [crickets] from moderators. He posts relentlessly and blames Biden for everything and nothing from Stocktwits even though this would violate "house rules". They are a bunch of crackpots running this scam of a website. Hypocrisy helps no one. Note the other reviews about how they constantly promote and manipulate their engagement and stock sentiment. Nothing about them is above board.

It crashes constantly from all the ads other wise when it works which is about half the time it is not that bad.

Stocktwits.com earns a hard one-star rating from me—honestly, why do people even bother with this mess? The concept sounds cool: a social hub for traders to swap ideas and track market chatter. But in reality, it’s a dumpster fire. The site’s drowning in ads—scrolling feels like dodging a barrage of pop-ups and banners. Posting? Forget it. The interface is a glitchy nightmare—messages lag, fail to stick, or just disappear. It’s 2025, and this feels like a relic from 2005.

Worst of all, the board’s overrun with spammy get-rich-quick nonsense. It’s less about legit insights and more about pump-and-dump clowns and sketchy “millionaire mentor” vibes. I’m baffled why anyone sticks around—most of what you wade through is pure noise, not signal. There’s zero reason to waste time here when cleaner, less scammy alternatives exist. Stocktwits isn’t just rough around the edges—it’s a full-on ad spam trap.

Be careful, this site is not very reliable. In my case, they tried to take my money and I had to use the site under my headline to get my money back.

Recently signed up in the past week. I got reported because I disagreed with someone, I didn’t send any threats or any abuse, my use of language was very professional as always. I abided by the “House Rules” and got muted. Requested deletion of my information from this joke of a company.

I've been a Stocktwits user for over a decade, dating back to my freshman year of college. Like any other social media site, the experience is what you make it. It takes time to curate who you follow, add stocks to your watchlist, and learn the site’s various research and discovery tools. But once you do, it becomes a go-to source of real-time information and ideas. Attention is the currency of markets, and there’s no better place to track where it’s flowing than on Stocktwits. The trending tickers tab, sentiment meters, and other data help me stay on top of the trends and find ideas. As I start to trade more often, I'll use Stocktwits to journal my ideas and journey to profitability. But even if you don't post, there's plenty of value to be had here.

There are some extremely helpful regulars on this forum, "DonCorleone" to name one, but the forum as a whole tends to be a cesspool of stock promoters that may be on the payroll of private equity or venture capitalist firms luring retail investors into buying bad stocks.

My primary concern with this form is its owner's lack of concern over these promoters, but perhaps it's a tall order to weed out scammers from legitimate posters, caveat emptor.

Stocktwits is an incredible platform that brings the investing and trading community together in one place! I’ve been using it for a while now, and I love how easy it is to stay updated on market trends, connect with other traders, and discover new investment ideas.

Yeah, ST truly sucks. They bans you when you say anything against certain posters. They work with certain posters to pump or dump a stock. Criminals

I got banned for calling a morgan stanley analyst who downgraded a stock goofball and it wasn't even in the main post section, it was a reply. Fun fact, the morgan stanley analyst had a negative return on his stock picks.

If you post the truth about a stock and others complain they kick you off the platform. Nothing but a bunch of scammer bots, lying pumpers, and those that pay to post there. Total garbage.

If you write anything anti trump you will be suspended. The MAGA morons do nothing but name call and are the dumbest people walking earth. The platform is completely bias.
Site encourages pump and dump schemes, and issue violations if you raise any concerns about pumpers.
Only parasites pumpers and bashers thrive in that hostile and scam environment.
2 brain cells bag holders who lost 90% of their account $$$ to these pump and dump schemes still desperately believe pumpers that everything will be okay one day.
You cannot even delete your account. Think about that for a second.
Organized pumpers will report any postings that potentially warn naive retailers.

Its'a full if AI bots. Stocktwits does absolutely nothing to remove AI bots. They must be incentivized by user numbers, but they’re fooling advertisers because many users are simply AI bots. If this company ever went public, Hindenburg would be the first to write about fake AI bot users.

Horrible place, got people posting pictures of kids(Letsgobrandon2022) and when complaining you get restricted for doing so, says it all really, not to mention the inability to disable your account. Steer well clear of this very dubious app!!!!!
UPDATE- had to reset my passwords due to hackers, never had a problem till i signed up for Stocktwats.

Indian and Canadian scam company. SHORT SELLING all retail stocks based off sentiment. Will use bots to pump stocks. This is a site worse than reddit or 4chan.

DONT JOIN. We really hope they go public one day though. Would be fun to take them down :)
