My husband has been wanting a leather belt that would fit better & last more than a year. He's also a fan of the way slide belts adjust . (Had one like it, made of some fabric material when he was a teen!)
Slide belts look, feel & perform excellently.
I got my husband another color for a gift since he liked the 1st one so much.
My only suggestion would be to encourage the creators to look into a "buckle" that is more light weight.

It always falls off and my husband has almost lost it a few times.

I thought it was a very good experience and excellent product from ordering to arrival and usage.

I purchased a leather and a canvas belt early in the year. The stitching on the cut end of the canvas belt is coming apart. I can live with this as long as I don't switch buckles. I ordered a premium leather belt a few months ago. Part of the track fell apart after 5 weeks. I emailed the company about this. No response. I emailed again and the response (after a couple of weeks) was the needed more information. I promptly responded and followed up with another email with a picture attached. I haven't heard a thing from them. It has been 6 weeks. The premium leather belt was expensive, it fell apart, and the company doesn't honor their warranty.

I have had trouble with my belt easily coming apart at the end that is to be attached, not the latch. Frustrating but it does adjust and is ok if I don't unbuckle it

The belt has a nice buckle, but the leather is stiff and thick.

I really like my slide belts and now have two of them. However, I would recommend that you cut them longer than necessary. The hooked end that goes into the belt will eventually fail and you have to cut the end off so that you have a fresh end. Unfortunately, if I keep doing this I will end up with a belt that is not functional any longer.
This is really a great belt, but I wish that they would find a way to prevent the problem I just described.

excellent belt and buckle, need some for the rest of my family.

The buckle is durable and well-made, standing up to daily use. The buckle mechanism does not slip and appears to have held up well after many months of use.

The only complaints I have:
1. The buckle is heavy. If the belt swings freely while you're stringing it through your belt loops and it bangs you on the knee, it will hurt! I'll probably try purchasing the smaller buckle later and see if it's as durable but lighter.
2. The clip that holds the buckle to the belt starts to loosen up over time. I think the teeth that hold it to the belt gradually wear larger and larger holes into the belt, causing it to loosen up. Lately, I've had the buckle come off in my hand a few times when in public restrooms. Fortunately, I haven't dropped it in the toilet (yet)! I'll probably try cutting off the last quarter inch of belt so the teeth can set new holes and hopefully grip better. But then the belt will get a little shorter every year. Good incentive to lose some weight, I suppose.

After wearing the belt a few weeks, when you take the belt off, the buckle falls off of the belt. It's a little annoying.

Love the design of the buckle. Canvas belt is good quality, even thought it can be difficult to feed through the buckle, sometimes.
I bought one for my mother, and one for myself, and a co-worker also purchased a slide-belt when she saw mine. We all had the same issue...the buckle keeps falling off, when the belt is un-buckled. Kind of embarrassing when you are in a public restroom, and your buckle falls off and slides into the neighboring stall.
I have used a piece of double sided tape to remedy the issue, and I'm hoping that its a permanent fix, but mom and the co-worker have given up, and no longer wear theirs.

My wife recently bought me a belt and buckle set that I've been wanting. Unfortunately the belt and buckle that was sent was the wrong style and color. My wife has tried to make email contact with SlideBelts, but hasn't received a response yet. More follow up will be needed. Disappointed in customer service.

Great Company with great helpful service and product

Great looking belt that has not shown any signs of wear and tear after wearing it almost everyday for months.

I purchased a belt about 1 year ago and am still wearing and loving it. I even recommended to many friends (who have ordered as well). I tried to order some as xmas presents and had to cancel due to poor shipping. Ordered 12/2/2016 and was yet to receive a shipping confirmation on 12/15/2016 (website states 1-3 days processing). I had to cancel the order and now have no xmas gifts for my family. I guess I should have called earlier as the support said she could process my order right away. I love the product but would be hesitant to order for anything on a timeline.

I have tried calling them but no one is answering the phone. I have placed an order on black Friday and still have not received the product as of 12/14/2016

Purchased two slidebelts. They have definitely been worth the investment! No problems, no signs of wear and tear (using them every day for the past 6 months), does the job well. Would highly recommend!
