Buckle falls off. did not happen on belt replaced. Have to make sure that belt is pushed on as hard as you can before snaping latch to hold buckle on. I think leather may a little thinner. Other wise great.

I absolutely love my belts. Before I bought the slidebelts, I wore the same belt everyday for 10 years. These belts are of the highest quality, and rugged yet sophisticated. Highly recommended!

Easy to wear, comfortable, great

I like the self determined sizing, but it doesn't always lock. Build quality is good.

I love the concept and feel that the belts are made well. For unclear reasons, one of the three belts I bought will not hold its position and keeps slipping when I move certain ways. I am constantly retightening the belt. So that one doesn't get used. Should have sent it back, but that takes time I don't have.

I am not usually one to be ecstatic about purchasing closing accessories; however, after careful research into the many ratchet belt companies out there, it was SlideBelts that won my two thumbs up!

The ratchet design is sleek and more importantly...simple! My full grain belt is one accessory that I am proud to wear - with its lasting durability and construct. Gone are the days of buttoning up that suit jacket to hide those worn-out holes!

I have had my 2 slide belts for about 4 months and I wear one every day. What a great quality product. The mechanism works well and is quick and easy to use. The leather quality is excellent. I will never buy a belt with holes again.

The buckle is great but after using the belt for about four months, the teeth holding on to the strap have loosened up and the buckle can separate from the strap. It hasn't happened to me yet but I can picture the buckle falling into the toilet one of these days. Eventually, I will have to trim the strap again so that the teeth can sink into a new section of the strap to tighten the grip - keep this in mind when measuring out your strap length.

I bought two top grain leather straps. I'm disappointed that the top layer has started peeling off of the sides. I think it might be due to the misshaping of the belt as you use it. I've started wearing the belt in reverse to get the shape back. For your top grain strap, you might want to reverse the use to keep the belt straight.

I haven't used the second strap, yet. However, given what I know now, I would have bought one full grain strap instead of two top grain straps.

Other than the peeling off, the belt itself appears to be holding up after seven months of continuous use.

So I get this belt. Boring right? NOPE! Awesome...
I conceal carry and this allows a simple slide to adjust the belt to a precision fit no matter what holster or size handgun I wear on any given day.

The belt works great, indeed it is the best one, functionally, I have ever owned, and doesn't look bad either. My only problem was with the spiked clip that holds the head on the belt, once you cut the overall length to fit yourself.. It is a friction hold, no locking mechanism, and the head of the belt would continuously fall off, as the clip has a tendency to come loose and disengage from the leather. I had to put a spot of super glue on it finally, and problem solved, except that If I lose any weight, which has been the case, I will be unable to take the head off to cut the belt length down and readjust the overall length. Not a huge problem as I can always buy another belt, but if not necessary, it seems a waste. Maybe you could re-design the clip so it locks in place, with a simple push pin hole type of release mechanism to remove it if necessary. Otherwise a really great product. Thanks for the most comfortable belt I have ever worn. It is never too loose, never too tight, always just right.

With the great quality of the leather belt, the ability to size it to your needs, and the clasp mechanism, that eliminates tearing of the leather, this makes SlideBelt the best belt I have ever had, I can never go back to other belts ever again.

You certainly need better belts they are of low quality. I quit wearing it. Though I have found a material that is stronger and I can use the buckle on.

Works as advertised. Easy to use. It's now my go-to dress belt.

I bought my first slidebelt a year ago. It is still brand new. I was at first using a military style belt with a brass buckle that would constantly fall apart. It was a OSFA belt but it would constantly have to be adjusted as it would not hold its place. Then I saw the kickstarter video for the survival slidebelt and decided to get one. I got a canvas belt. It fits perfectly. It has a leather back which surprised me of the quality. The stitching is also top notch and doesn't fray. The only time it ever lost it's place was when I leaned on a kitchen counter that was the same height. After a month I learned not to do that. Easy to adjust, easy to put together, and easy to wear, it is the best belt I ever had. I bought 2 more for myself and 4 for my brothers for christmas and one for my soon-to-be-brother-in-law. Highly highly recommend.
