Absolutely ridiculous. Had a look online, found what I wanted and drove to the shop. The prices are more than double the online advertised price! I asked if the match their own prices and I was told no, "we have to pay staff". First of all there was only one person working and I'm pretty sure the online arm has staff to pay too? Garbage business model.

Hello! Someone Ive ORDERED FROM THIS COMPANY 3WEEKS AGO,STILL HAVENT GOTTEN MY MERCHANDISE! I ASK FOR A REFUND, AND NO ONE STILL HAVENT RESPONDED! I WANT MY DAM MONEY! SIMPLY PLEASURE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I recently purchased several items from the Leeds city centre store of Simply Pleasure. Two of the products (both priced at £20) broke on their very first use, splitting completely.
I returned to the store within the same week with the receipt, but was refused any refund or replacement. The staff member contacted the manager at the time, who also declined the request.
I then escalated the matter through customer service and provided clear photos of the damage. Despite this, the Retail Area Manager rejected my claim, stating that the items must have been misused — without providing any evidence to support that conclusion.
What is particularly concerning is that the receipt itself states that store policy does not affect statutory rights, yet when those rights are raised under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they are effectively dismissed.
I remained polite throughout and even offered to accept a partial refund, which was also refused.
Based on this experience, I have no confidence in the durability of the products or the way legitimate customer complaints are handled, and I would strongly advise others to consider this before purchasing.

I have just had an extremely positive experience using the online chat function on SP website.

The assistant Jasmine put me at ease immediately and offered some really great advice for my choice of toys, size of lingerie and delivery options when shopping.

I am a secret married CD and have been really anxious about going into my local store. Jasmine assured me that all of their staff are none judgemental and are well versed in dealing with CD on a daily basis.

I can't speak about the in person store since I ordered online but my whole experience as a first time customer was amazing.
They have great variety of products (some that I couldn't find anywhere else), good prices and very quick delivery.

The 2 toys I got are just as described, high quality and work perfectly.
Their "MeYouUs" lube is one of the cheapest for the quantity and I found it really good, non sticky and non smelly.

They dispatched the order quickly and stayed in contact, the package arrived in a standard discreet cardboard box.

10/10 for me, I can't wait to buy again!

Bristol branch. Had a family member go in to be told his 'custom was not welcomed' and that he was banned. The male server refused to give a reason as to why and said 'you know what you did,' providing no proof for the ban or give any detail.
My family member was belitted and humilated in front of other customers and left worrying what he could have done to illicit such treatment. Needless to say they won't be giving the BRISTOL Branch any more custom.
AVOID.

Went into the Leicester shop yesterday and I could not have been made to feel more comfortable. The staff member (didn't catch their name sorry) was extremely knowledgeable and took loads of time to explain things to me. I feel safe and welcome in that shop every time I visit.

Lovely experience. Steve was amazing and Vic was very helpful too. Ended up buying more than originally planned, so good salesmanship there. Would definitely recommend and will be returning regularly. Thank you x

This company treat staff extremely unfairly. They expect the world without giving anything in return.

Management team have no people skills and treat employees as numbers rather than as people.

The staff at the Bristol store were nothing short of spectacular. They listened, offered advice and suggestions based on their expert knowledge of their product range, and we're really friendly at put me very much at ease throughout my entire shopping experience. I genuinely cannot thank and praise them enough for the trouble they went to, from running around the shop gathering products for me to look at, to asking appropriate questions to better understand my purchasing needs and (just as important) comfort zones. The available product range is extensive to say the least, and incredibly reasonably priced. The only sadness I have is that I'm not local to the store for future visits

Traveled from driffield to Hull to visit the simply pleasure store for a suprise present as we're currently going to enjoy a week to outselves arrived just after 5.35 shop hours says open until 6.00 ...shop shut poor show

I went to the Simply Pleasure shop in Bournemouth and was feeling pretty nervous about it. But after walking in and feeling really shy I was greeted with a great big hello and a smile from a lovely lady. We had a little chat about what I was after and she showed me so many things, explained everything clearly and really helped me feel comfortable. The shop was so bright and colourful, good music and really friendly staff. I will be coming in again soon and feel way more confident for next time.

I called their branch in Hull today at 14:09 to ask if they were interested in buying some products that I don't need. The lady interrupted me in a sharp, rude way, saying, "We don't buy from people" and then abruptly hung up. What a rude customer service experience!

NO REFUNDS or even EXCHANGES! This was not made clear to me when I bought an expensive item and changed my mind before even taking it out of the bag.
I was told it was shop policy but Customer Services might help. CS said it was up to the shop. I just wanted an exchange.
SP should sell you items in sealed plastic as they do on line, and allow untouched returns, as they do on line. It makes it look like they deliberately break the seal so they don't have to be bothered with exchanges.
Also very dodgy receipt practice of allocating prices to non-bought items.
Pity, inflexible company policy spoiled my review of a good shop.

Ordered a few bits twice now online, service and products are fantastic.
Wife is very happy
Great quality, great price and as I said above fantastic service.
Great new website which seems to be getting better each day, easy to browse and order.
Won't be using anyone else from now on.

It was my partner's and my first time walking into an adult shop, so we naturally felt a little awkward and uncomfortable, however as soon as we stepped in, we felt quite normal. The staff were extremely friendly which helped the positive experience. We were surprised to see lots of couples in there shopping away! Great shop, lots of items and selections to pick from, so you certainly can find what you're looking for. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
