Very efficient service and support

We have owned a Sherborne lounge suite with 2 manual recliners for 16 years & have been very pleased with them both for comfort and for lasting appearance. A spring on one of the manual recliners recently broke.I contacted Sherborne by email on Thursday (mid-afternoon) asking if they could supply a replacement. I received a response almost immediately and the spring arrived (free of charge) in Friday's post. Excellent friendly service which I would recommend to anyone. Janet.

We like to complain when we get bad…
We like to complain when we get bad service but forget to highlight good service . We bought my mum a rise and recline chair after a bit of research we chose a Sherborne . Right from the start we could tell we bought quality it was so comfortable and easy to use even for my mum . Sadly my mum passed away and we had to clear her house , we donated what we could to a local charity but unfortunately as we had removed the fire labels the couldn't accept the chair . I decided as the chair was still in first class condition i would keep it for myself . The removal men delivered the chair to my house and when we put it in place discovered that a set of castors were broken . I contacted Sherbourne by phone and spoke to Donna her attitude was nothing is a problem lets get that fixed and it was . I thought that i would have had a problem getting spare parts as the chairs are so well made but suprise suprise no problem . Its great to deal with a company that still believe in good old fashioned service and produce items that are built to last , the best of British Manufacturing thank you

She said she would send one to me, free of charge. This arrived the following day complete with fitting instructions. Superb friendly service, hard to find these days. We do already own a sofa and chair in our lounge and another set in our garden room.. We are already sold on Sherborne upholstery but cannot fault their after sales service, Many thanks. Derek
Outstanding customer service
I needed a handset for my riser recliner chair. The Amazon stuff just didn’t fit at the connector, I first spoke with Donna at Sherborne who was able to identify the part and give me a part number. She informed me that they were in stock. I then spoke with Julie who took my payment and she said that she’d pop one in the post that day. After two weeks the part didn’t arrive. I spoke with Julie and she said she’d send another out, first class. Yesterday both handsets arrived by Royal Mail at the same time! The post marks on both confirm that Julie had, indeed done exactly as she said she would! The delay was entirely down to Royal Mail! I’ve spent many years in customer facing rolls and the service I’ve received is second to none!
Spring replacement in recliner chair
My aunt has enjoyed her Sherborne recliner chair for some years. Recently a spring snapped and whilst still being able to make the chair function manually, it was not ideal for her at 88 years old!
I emailed the company with an enquiry about obtaining a replacement and received a very prompt reply offering a complementary replacement.
Upon trying to fit the spring, I had underestimated the number of potential holes in the frame…… another email and within a couple of hours, a series of photos was provided which enabled me to complete the task.
I am extremely impressed by the speed and excellent level of customer service. Hopefully my aunt will continue to enjoy her recliner for many more years !

My husband's Leyburn chair arrived…
My husband's Leyburn chair arrived exactly on time as promised, was unpacked and set up quickly. It is exactly what he needs due to his declining mobility and difficulty rising from an ordinary chair. This chair lifts him from sitting to a virtual standing position, allowing him to walk forward and away easily without the danger of him struggling to get up and becoming unsteady.
It has a full recline and foot raise with a variable additional head raise adjustment facility and lumbar support which allows total flexibility and comfort for him, He is sat in the chair for long periods of time each day and can therefore adjust his position throughout the day to enable him to be comfortable.
We have chosen a soft green upholstery but were spoilt for choice with the fabric range.
We could not be more pleased, both with the service we received from Sherbourne and the chair itself.

On the second of August I sent an email to the Sherborne web site asking if they could supply me with a replacement spring for my twelve year old Keswick three seater recliner. On the fourth of August I received a reply from Julie offering me a free replacement spring with free postage. Now that's what I call service, well done Sherborne and a special thank you to Julie.
Fantastic customer service
I bought a Sherborne manual recliner 7 years ago and I have loved it. Recently the foot support function stopped working and I discovered the tension spring had broken. I thought I would be able to repair it - I emailed Sherborne to ask where I might be able to buy a new spring. They replied straight way and said they would send me one free as a gesture of good will. It arrived the next day and I fitted it easily following their instructions. It works as good as new. Quality product and fantastic customer service.

Needed a new dual handset for Sherborne recliner chair. Spoke to a lovely lady called Donna who was so helpful. She took all details/payment and I received it several days later. Brother in law fitted it but said was not working, so I phoned and spoke to a wonderful lady called Jenna, she was so helpful and said no problem in replacing but did we check on/off switch opposite side of handset. Apparently only thing brother on law didnt check was that which was so funny. Anyhow works perfect. The customer service at Sherborne upholstery is amazing and I think they are one of the best online. Just so friendly and ultra helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
