ordered a door, promised delivery date nothing arrived sent email to customer services, automated response, phoned company spoke to someone who said customer services will get back to me, still waiting. wish I had read reviews, door arrived today which I was happy about so I may have been a bit hasty with my review

The door was ordered 7 weeks ago, no delivery.
No information about delivery. When I phone the person says she is just on reception and John will call.
Lies, lies lies. Avoid this company.

This is a scam company loads of negative reviews about this company.

Email phone calls get fobbed off no one calls back after they promise to do so!
I am now having to raise this with my bank to get money back from these scammers !!

On 29th May 2023 my account was debited for the purchase of a Julian Bowen bed as part of the normal process for online shopping. However, Sethcodoorstore conveniently neglected to issue an order number. Despite chasing this order for more than 2-months (including 3 calls with their Customer Services and several emails that were not responded to, even though these were acknowledged with their "service promise") I was finally advised on email that there had been a delay at Felixstowe and the bed would be delivered by the end of the week. This never happened, so I chased again requesting a refund and advised them that I had no option other than to raise a formal claim through HM Courts and Tribunals. All I got back was an automated response. HM Courts have now served the money claim, which amazingly has been ignored and I have now raised a CCJ. However, not unsurprisingly, the Courts are struggling to get in touch with Sethcodoorstore Limited as the company addressed registered with Companies House does not appear legitimate, so HM Courts are asking if the address is correct! Therefore, if Sethcodoorstore Customer Services respond to this review can you please advise your address?

Still no refund from this so called "company"!!! They are glorified thieves, you have been warned people, do NOT deal with them, you don't get the goods or a refund.
Original order April 2023, nothing but BS excuses right from the start.
To your response- I have sent name sort code and number for refund, let's see how long this one takes to draw it out or excuses as to why it can't be payed. 3-2-1 go!

Refund still not recieving, I got an email Monday morning asking for details so they could pay me, but yet again nothing from them in my account.
John Paul Rowe is the only registered company director in this company, I also have the a address of anyone wants it. In process of getting this company and Mr Rowe investigated. 6 months fighting this, have had enough of the constant lies and excuses.

My GOD WHY DDNT I READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I STUPIDLY PLACED AN ORDER!!!!!! PAID FOR 10 DOORS MIDDLE/LATE JULY ON THE UNDERSTANDING I WOULD GET THEM THE WEEK OF 21ST AUGUST. NIT HAVING GEARD ANYTHING I PHONED TGST WERK AND WAS PROMISED DELIVERY ON THE FRIDAY. NO DELIVERY!!!! THEN IT WENT TO THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY, ALTHOUGH I HAD MY FITTER BOOKED FOR THE TUESDAY! NO DELIVERY!!!! DESPITE NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS AND PROMISES TO BE CALLED BACK. I THEN TOLD THEM ON THE THURSDAY TGAT UNLESS I RECEIVE THEM THE NEXT DAY I WANTED AN IMMEDIATE REFUND. NO DELIVERY OR REFUND!!! I DID GET AN EMAIL APOLOGISING AND TELLING ME THAT THE ORDER FIRSTLY DIDN’T COME BECAUSE IF THE MANUFACTURERS HAD TO CLOSE FOR 8 DAYS DUE TO SHELVES COLLAPSING. THE NEXT FAILED DELIVERY WAS BECAUSE THE COMPANY HAD THE WRONG PHONE NUMBER TO ADVISE ME IF THE DELIVERY! I STUPIDLY SWALLOWED EVERYTHING THEY SAID AND BECAUSE THEY OFFERED DELIVERY THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY AND BECAUSE THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN SOONER THAN IF I WENT ELSEWHERE I ACCEPTED IT. TGAT WAS TODAY AND AS I HADN’T HEARD ABOUT THE DELIVERY I PHONED ASKING FOR CONFORMATION AND EXPLAINED THST U GAD YO GET Y TO L WORK BY 3 AND WOULD HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE HERE FOR DELIVERY. NO PHONE CALLS FROM THE DELIVERY COMPANY OR SETH DESPITE SEVERAL EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS CHASING!!! I HAVE TOLD THEN NOW EITHER DELIVERY BY MID DAY TOMORROW OR REFUND BY THEN, I KNOW NOTHING WILL HAPOEN SO AN GETTING MY BANK TO DO A CHARGE BACK. UF IT WADBT GOR YHE FAVT THAT THEY WERE THE ONLY PLACE THAT I COULD GET THESE DOORS I WOULD HAVE GIVEN UP BY NOW!!! BACK TO LOOKING FOR ALTERNATIVES NOW!!!

There are no options for minus stars so given one star. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Placed an order for 17 doors at the end of April. After various chase ups delivery received on 14th June 23 but only received 9 doors not the 17 ordered.

Since then have emailed them numerous times and called them, each time I phone them can only speak to the switchboard cannot speak to the ordering department as they are busy, and they never call back.

I have emailed them about 40 times and phoned them about 10 times. Still no delivery!!!

Sethcodoorstore reply following the earlier review makes no sense..I had an email dated 17th Aug
"Your balance of order no. 50880 has been allocated. The delivery is now being planned with the carriers. You will soon receive a day of delivery and 3 hour time slot"
Now they are still waiting delivery? Lies!!

if I could give no stars I would.
Ordered a wardrobe and was given emails to say it would arrive in 14 working days.
Then received an email that said my order was confirmed with the courier and that they would be in contact with me within 5 days to arrange delivery.
Then I got an email saying it would be delivered between the 29th and 30th of August and I would be given a 3 hour time slot in 24hrs.
I got no update so contacted them via the chat to be a sent an email a while later to be told they sent me an email a couple of days ago and my time slot on the 30th was between 6am and 8am which is a bit strange and not a 3 hour time slot but anyway. The time came and and went, no delivery and waiting in all day, contacted the call centre every day and told I will get a call back. Also emailed and used live chat with no response. Told many times that someone was to contact me. Asked for trackng details and was told they don't have that information its another department which never seems to answer.
Actually the worst customer service and no one seems to have a clue what's going on. Waiting on a refund like many others who have not received their stuff

Your reply as to what happened is actually a joke and full of lies. Why would I be asking you for tracking if it was sent directly to me!?
Also you didn't send me any message or email about a 3 hr time slot untill I got in contact with you through the live chat which turned out to be a 2hr time slot at 6am and 8am.
I did wait in all day, I also phoned at 10am and left a message and was told someone would get back to me. I phoned a couple of hours later and same response.....nothing. phoned a couple of times a day with people saying I'll get a call back and keep sending emails.
You did not inform me at all that there was something wrong with delivery untill I managed to get a response through email at which I had had enough and wanted a refund as well as the other people on here that have had the exact same experience as me.
Funny how I have to block out a name on my previous review but you can just put out part of my post code.
I dont hold out much hope for any communication or refund of my money but will be contacting my bank or small claims.
Feel like there is a blatant attempt at silencing certain reviews from the trust pilot website

If I could give no stars I would. Avoid this company like the plague. Not worth the stress and hassle! Absolute waste of space, time and money. Don't bother listening to their apologies or 'I have marked this as priority/urgent, someone will get back to you today'. It's all lies and means nothing!
If you've recently purchased save your time and sanity and cancel it with your bank right away. My review reiterates everything all the other bad reviews state. Poor service from the start, abysmal communication throughout. Customer does all the leg work to no avail.
Had to request email confirming purchase despite funds having already left my bank. No delivery time frame given so emailed and told 4 weeks, we are now over 10 weeks and still no wardrobe. Into double figures with the amount of emails and phone calls I've made regarding this with no success.
When they do pick up the phone it's just 'reception' who assure you they'll pass the message over to 'John'. Why haven't they got the access to tell me where my order is? Very bizzare and frustrating way to operate a buisiness.
Multiple lies from their side. Forever chasing them with no response. Absolute jokers making a fool out of people. This business needs to be shut down. Con artists!
Will update review with time taken for full refund. Hopefully they will do the decent thing and issue immediately. We live in hope!

Left this review only a few hours ago. Stunned at the quick response time here, makes it even more disgusting that you can do it here and not for your actual orders. If you treated people correctly in the first place then you wouldn't be using up all your time here tryna argue all of these horrendously accurate reviews.

Still no refund, I asked for confirmation once processed and requested to know when I can expect in my bank account. So far I have had no answer despite calling and emailing more than once (no suprise there though!) Feels never ending with this jokers.

Fuming!! This company needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update 27/9/ STILL NO REFUND.. DESPITE BEING TOLD THIS WAS BEING CANCELLED & PROCESSED! FURTHER ACTION NOW BEING TAKEN.😡
Door still not received, despite being told we would be contacted regarding delivery.. numerous emails & phonecalls & no-one returning our calls.. now applying for a refund & will buy elsewhere as wasted far too much time on a company with zero customer service skills & zero correspondence. 👎

I advise nobody to use this company. Ordered doors 12 June 2023, have had to continually chase them with no response. Finally requested a refund which has been promised, nothing received. I am now getting my bank involved and taking out a claim in the smalls claims court. I will also be reporting them to Defenders UK.

Despite being promised my refund by close of play on 25th August, surprise, surprise still no refund. Now going to small claims court.

I ordered 4th June and was promised twice this order was with the delivery company. Requested a refund in the end and been told many times it will be dealt with and someone will get back to me. This NEVER happens. The customer service is shocking really, get fobbed off constantly. Knew ordering the door was too good to be true..... still no refund or order ????

Order not received, phone call rings twice then cuts off, emailed to ask for update of order , was told they would find out what was wrong but no response since despite follow up email to them.

Same as all the others who left reviews ordered a door paid 😕 by bank transfer but received a confirmation email confirming receipt of order. That was it then I have constantly been emailing and phoning - even though they said they would supply but again no contact so I requested a refund.

I have now taken a claim against them in the small claims court. It cost £35 online through gov.uk. Everyone should do it.

This company's a joke been waiting for my order for 5 weeks 5 times I emailed customer services to be told it'll be ready on the 4th it's now the 12th n still not heard anything. I've rang them twice and emailed them 3 times since the 4th and had no reply and get told on the phone someone will ring u back but yet u don't hear anything from them...

I am so disappointed with this company, I placed my order on the 23rd June (order number 51189) and I haven't received it or had any communication. I have been trying to contact them for three weeks via email and phone call multiple times a day. Only to be advised that someone will call me back as a matter of urgency. This still hasn't happened. I would never recommend this company to anyone, I understand people are busy and things can take time but to no hear from anyone even for an update in three weeks it's beyond disappointing and unprofessional. I am writing this to let everyone know what this company. I want to get this resolved or get a refund but I seem unable to do either.

Immediately after writting the review i received and email saying it would be delivered this week. 2 weeks after the original post still no delivered or confirmed date for deliver and no communication since the email saying it would be delivered. I have emailed asking for delivery date or refund and called and still nothing back. This company only seems to get into in touch after a review. Please deliver my order or provide a refund.. there is no excuse for the lack of communication.

I highly recommend you AVOID using this Company. I don't quite understand their business strategy and how they manage to keep trading. Like many other reviewers we placed an order in good faith paying the full amount (just under £1000) up front, and with the understanding that the lead time was 7-10 working days - so we were expecting the delivery to be in about 2 weeks which fitted into our project schedule. Needless to say we never got the doors and in the end after almost 6 weeks of stress and promises we cancelled the order but luckily for us we did actually get a full refund a couple of days later. We have since re-ordered from another company and received them in 6 working days. If you choose to use Sethcodoors expect the following:
(1) You CANNOT get to speak to anyone EVER. When you call the number on the website it is answered by a call answering service. You will get a different person each time, they will answer as Sethcodoors but they have no knowledge of the business at all and can only take your name and number saying they will pass on and someone will get back in touch with you (which they inevitably DO NOT). They will also ask you to email customer services.
(2) You will probably get a reply from John Lowe who is the owner of the company, or Liam from Accounts, I never had any correspondence from any other member of the "team".
(3) You will most likely receive a poorly worded, vague response. If you ask for specific info such as the name of the delivery company (which I did on 6 occasions) you will be ignored
(4) You can try ringing the mobile number used for WhatsApp messaging but it will not be answered. You may get a reply by message if you are lucky, but likely to be more excuses and lies
(5) Our supposed delivery date was changed 4 times with different excuses each time, apparently the last time the doors were sent to a distribution centre instead of our specified address
(6) Be prepared to put in all the work chasing and trying to get info on your delivery. I sent 15 emails, 8 whatsapp messages and put in over 10 calls to both numbers. Be prepared not to receive your order.

If you think you can cope with all of that then good luck !

Ordered a bi fold oak door in April with an expected delivery of early June . Currently in August and still nothing . Communication is terrible and completely dishonest when they do eventually make contact .
Company reported to anyone and everyone who will listen .

Absolutely shocking I've spent almost £2000 on doors for my project although initial contact from John he has now been radio silence for well over a month. Despite continuous emails from myself and asking for a full refund due to complete radio silence I have still not yet had any contact from the company. I was meant to receive my goods six weeks ago.
Do not purchased from this company it is a complete scam.
