Sent my phone to them after being quoted £294.50 and it met all their criteria to be worth their 'Grade A' offer.

When the phone was delivered, I was sent an email after nearly a week and a number of phone calls chasing advising 'the housing frame of the device has paint chipping along the top frame. There is also minor marking on the back cover and a chip on the rear camera lens. This reduces the maximum grade of the device to a Grade B' and a reduced offer of £159.65. I rejected the offer as these claims were not correct and the offer increased immediately to £211.20. I rejected this offer and had the phone returned...I have now sold the phone to Recycle Kings who received the phone today and paid the £290 quoted without hesitation.

Have emailed copies of the emails and photos of the returned phone to Trading Standards, so wait to hear their thoughts!

Was quoted £230 for my phone which was in perfect condition, no marks, no scratches. They sent me a revised offer of £100 saying my phone was cracked, they sent me pictures of a scratched, cracked phone which was not mine!! Currently waiting for my phone to be returned to me, will be taking this further, damage to phone could not have been done in transit! Please avoided this company!

Not a great company to sell your phone…
The original offer was dropped by £100s … I refused the offer, few hours later another offer comes through… not even half of the price they originally offered in their website.
So, basically don’t bother with this company, they will lie to you about the item price, then offer you a very lower price, if you reject it… they will make another offensive offer… so waste of time! I will donate my iphone to charity…

A complete shambles from start to finish. Price given online for my iphone. Phone sent to them. Unsurprisingly a revised offer sent to me which I accepted. Phone for whatever reason returned to me.
Use someone else as these people are comical.

Got a good price for my phone,it took a bit longer to get the money back but I think December was not a good time to post the phone as post was busy. But happy with the result.

I received an offer of £130 from SellMyiPhone.co.uk, which was a little higher than others I had been quoted. Keen to get the best deal, I sent them my iPhone XR for a final valuation. Expecting a little reduction (it’s always the way), I received an offer for £79.50.

A little disappointed, I went ahead to accept the offer, only to see once I’d confirmed that the offer had been dropped to £41 under my nose. Confused, I called them and was told that I had been sent a double offer and the final offer was £41.

I said that didn’t seem fair - I checked both offers which came through via email and they both gave exactly the same reasons why the price had been dropped. I asked if they could honour the £79.50 price which I was sent first and accepted, to which the answer was no.

The guy on the phone was very unhelpful, and just said ‘I’ll get it returned to you’ and put the phone down on me. Not hearing him properly, I rang him back to check what he’d said and why he’d put the phone down on me. I told him to go Eff himself, obviously, because I felt so insulted.

I’m assuming SellMyiPhone.co.uk think that most people won’t put up a fight and just accept their lowball final offers, which I don’t think is fair. The phone I sent to them had normal wear and tear (no cracks on screen, all ports working). They also said the battery needed servicing, but this was the first time I’d heard of this (no notification on phone). I was so surprised by their appraisal, I was concerned they’d valued the wrong phone!

For reference, and transparency, here are relevant excerpts from their valuation feedback:
Your initial quote for your device was based on only minor signs of use (Grade A) and fully working.
Due to the volume of deep scratches the display will need to be replaced.
The housing back glass has heavy marking and scratching across it with paint chipping on the frame.
The battery will need to be replaced as there is a battery service message on the device and the battery health is below the required 85% permitted to be considered a working grade.

In the initial quote questionnaire, there was nothing about scratches or marks or the battery, so I would suggest they build this into their initial valuation process to give customers a more realistic reflection of the price they’re actually going to achieve. I was counting on having around £100 to tide me over between now and Christmas, but no luck.

Avoid this company!!!

I always expect a slight revaluation when you send an item to companies like this but I sent an iPad that was valued at £180 and the tiniest barely noticeable pixel mark in the screen meant they revalued it at an insulting £30 despite it being perfectly fine to resell at a slightly lower grade without having to replace the entire screen because when in use the pixel mark isn’t even visible. They will literally find any reason to try and buy your item for nothing so that they can resell at a huge profit. Absolutely scandalous and a complete waste of time.

Only place to offer a price. Sent out working watch in good condition.

Offer was dramatically reduced of "deep scratches to the watch screen" no proof, no nothing no option to ask. Had to either reject or accept the offer. Nice to know that they will sell it for a much tidier profit OR maybe they should send out more damage proof packaging.

Do not use this service unless you're happy with being robbed.

I had high hopes for this website, and everything sounded too good to be true. To begin with, they claim that they'll offer you an average price for your phone (nothing too great, but I needed the cash as soon as possible). I was trying to sell my iPhone 13 Pro Max in excellent condition, with no scratches, no issues, and good battery health (above 85%). However, once I sent my device, they offered me a significantly lower amount that wasn't negotiable; in other words, it was £100 less than the initial offer. Furthermore, even if you decline, they persist in making additional offers with a slightly higher price (£25).

It seems that this company makes false promises to take advantage of you. I would not recommend it

The whole process of selling my phone went smoothly without any hitches even though they were very busy it did not stop them issuing my money (which was the stated valuation) on time. The communication was excellent also, was kept informed all then way through the process. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Sent my phone in fully working order with no cracks or marks etc. When it was checked it had a massive crack on the screen that wasn't there before. I'm not even sure the phone that was returned was even the one I sent . It came back in a case that wasn't sent in too . Not happy .

Sold my old phone and received payment the same day. The my account section kept me updated with the information I needed. Sent same price quoted. Would completely recommend.

Otherwise absolutely atrocious service with no contacts made. No emails replied. Nearly a month since my phone is sent. Jack has just replied that there is a problem with passcode and that's it.

I will never use them again!

upd: got a phone back with an explanation that there is some code that they cant crack. Looks like a different phone from the one I have sent. No box, no charger. I am waiting for their reply. If not - will look at taking legal action. One can't be such a blunt thief, can they?

Still waiting on money for my phone. Not even an email response to my emails. Service is atrocious. Wish i read reviews before sending my phone. But i do have pictures of its condition and codes etc.

Not worth the hassle, would have rather thrown my phone in landfill than deal with these fools!
