After struggling with ADHD myself and seeing my teenage son face similar challenges, I turned to SEIK Psychiatry on a friend’s recommendation, and it has been the best decision. From the very first contact, I felt reassured and supported. The team genuinely cares—they treat you like a person, not just a number or a customer.

What stands out most is their attention to detail and the personalised care they provide. It’s so easy to reach a real person when you need to, and every step of the process is explained clearly. I’ve felt informed and involved the entire way, which is such a comfort when navigating something as important as mental health care.

This experience has been the total opposite of what I faced with my last private provider, where it felt like profit was the only focus. SEIK’s ethos of putting people first shines through in everything they do, and it’s a refreshing change.

Compared to the NHS, where I understand the system is under so much pressure, SEIK offers the kind of care and compassion you wish everyone could access. It’s the reassurance, respect, and professionalism that makes you feel truly valued as a patient.

going private was the best decision I ever made and i am so grateful to SEIK,, I was so anxious and was put at ease from the very beginning, answered all my questions and many emails,, so reasonably priced aswell.. I'm grateful to all the staff at SEIK..

Had ASD and ADHD assessments completed for my son who is 15.
Initially, given how much cheaper the price was compared to other private assessments, I was concerned this could be a 'too good to be true" situation. I was also worried about the risk of our GP/the NHS not accepting the reports. I talked to Jess in the on boarding team and she confirmed that the report would contain everything our GP said they would need. So I felt more confident and we went ahead. Our GP, school and local CAMHS have accepted the reports without any issues so it wasn't "too good to be true".
The assessment process was very professional and easy to navigate. The clinicians were very thorough and clearly knowledgeable. They were great at explaining and answering our questions. They were able to explain his traits in a way that made sense to my son and dint feel stigmatising. They were also good at recognising his strengths and skills and really encouraged him to be himself/value himself and be comfortable in his own skin which was really important to us (but we hadn't primed them to say that!)
Overall a great service which I'm pleased to recommend to anyone. Seik did exactly what we needed and for a reasonable price.

I have no words to describe my experience with the team. All the way from the admin team to the psychiatrists and prescribers, I wish you would all truly understand the impact you've made on not just my life, but countless others. A few months since my diagnosis and treatment, I feel as if I am myself, the person who I've always had inside of me but was never able to express. Without a single reason of a doubt, if you are to choose who you should go with, I have no other choice but to say SEIK psychiatry. The speed at which the admin team responds to all my questions stupid or not, to the way in which the nurses and psychiatrists listened to every single problem I've had, and adjusted to it with empathy was truly astounding. Once again, thank you everyone, you've changed my outlook on life :)

I Found S E I K Psychiatry after months of searching for an autism diagnosis I could actually afford, because I didn't want to wait for months, maybe years, on an NHS waiting list. I felt cared for, heard and listened to from the first contact I had with them. They combine professional standards with a reassuring and caring approach, the two do not always go together.
The autism assessment was easy to arrange, short wait time between booking and appointment, and though I was very nervous at the start, I felt safe and able to ask questions or for clarification if I needed it, so much so I was able to open up about myself in ways I rarely do. Within an hour of the last appointment - there were two - I received an e mail, checking in to see that I was okay.
I cannot comment on the medication side of things, as I never needed any, but would defiantly recommend S E I K Psychiatry for an assesment of autism or any other condition.

From submitting our application to the final appointment everyone we dealt with were helpful, friendly and reassuring. The admin staff were alwasy so helpful. Our psychologist and our psychiatrist were super professional but so reassuring and really focused on my daughter and making sure she was ok. And the fact that they are a not-for-profit organisation means I would absolutely recommend SEIK for your ADHD or ASD assessments.

I had an autism assessment and actually think that the assessments being done online was better for me than if they had been in person. This is a highly professional service and I can't really fault it.

From the outset and throughout the team at S E I K have been brilliant. Their level of support and commitment to communication is reassuring and comforting. Their specialists are knowledgeable and listen to me.

Anyone with experience as a private psychiatry patient will know that these set ups can feel cold and sterile. But the team at S E I K are all very welcoming and make a point to get back to me quickly and with as much help as possible.

They’ve changed my view on what private health care can be like. Their fees are below standard for the industry, and you can tell that this is dictated by their genuine interest in looking after and serving people with ADHD.

Would highly recommend the service. It’s important to enter these things as open and honest as possible, and the team pass no judgement either.

I had a terrible experience with this company. The booking process was confusing and overcomplicated, the claims of a fast assessment were false, and it ended up taking months rather than the 2 weeks advertised.

The psychologist I was referred to was great, however the psychiatrist seemed absent and distracted during our assessment, and it showed in the incorrect report of his findings.

I would avoid this company if you are looking for an empathetic partner in your diagnostic journey.

I have nothing but good things to say about SEIK psychiatry and all of their wonderful staff. I booked a private ADHD assessment and the whole process was so easy.

After making payment, I had my first assessment within 2 weeks and the 2nd just a couple of weeks after that. Both assessors were fantastic and really put me at ease. They were also very helpful in suggesting books and websites I could read in the meantime to help me understand ADHD.

I had my formal diagnosis within about 6 weeks of making my first appointment. I was given all of the information needed to make an informed decision about medication, and then I started titration.

The prescribing nurse was fantastic! After completing 2 months of titration she said I was ready to set up shared care, and she sent the request to the GP. It was that easy! The office staff (jessica) checked in with me to keep me updated on the progress of the shared care, and now it is all sorted!

I honestly can't thank SEIK psychiatry enough. I was expecting the process to be much more daunting, but they made it so stress-free and seamless. They are an absolute credit! I would absolutely recommend SEIK to anyone who is considering private ADHD assessment.

SEIK Psychiatry carried out an ASD assessment for our 12 year old daughter. The process was very efficient and thorough. We felt well advised and supported throughout. We would recommend.

2. Ethical - providing a service which is care and needs focused, not driven by volume and profit.
3. Supportive - any diagnostic process is emotionally challenging, they provided support and advice throughout the process.

Extremely thorough assessment carried out by Psychologist and Psychiatrist, followed up by monthly reviews with a Nurse. All staff are knowledgeable, empathetic and reassuring and did their very best to get scripts out quickly during a time of national short-supply for ADHD meds. If you can foot the cost (one of the cheapest out there still for private care) it is well worth going with SEIK for ADHD diagnosis and care until you can get a shared care plan in place with the NHS. Even now that I'm on the NHS, I will never hesitate to contact SEIK if I have any questions or concerns about my treatment.

I had a very positive experience using SEIK Psychiatry. I had two thorough assessments to inform the end outcome and then support with medicines. The staff are kind, thorough and experienced. I have recommended to others who have also had positive experiences.

Had a very smooth experience from my first assessment to the end of titration and passing on the details to my GP. I would recommend first getting a referral from a GP if possible as this made things much smoother for me. I also had to confer with the admin team initially due to a concern with my health history but this was all sorted very quickly and I'm grateful for the trust. Private mental health care is expensive but the prices at SEIK were a lot more affordable for me than a lot of other places, with a good quality of care and highly detailed report. My diagnosis has changed my life for the better and I am very happy with my experience.

SEIK were really good at the start with the diagnosis. But all downhill from there. The titration process was terrible. 9 months on and still not medicated. Continually running out of medication due to the time it took to get a review appointment (circa 3 weeks+), time it took for a psychiatrist to respond, time it took for a psychiatrist to write a prescription.
One time the psychiatrist went on holiday for 2 weeks after promising to get my prescription sent out. The medication i was being prescribed took time to build up in system. Continually running out and going unmedicated invalidated the whole process and was actually advised against in the drug instructions.
Was told that my psychiatrist only works part time and hence the continual delays. This really shouldn't be the patients problem?!
Fairly clear to me that SEIK have taken on too many patients and are now woefully under resourced. Interestingly, new patient ADHD assessments can be booked quicker than an existing patient can get a medication review appointment.
Cannot recommend i'm afraid.
