We've been looking for months for a new suite/sofas and had visited SCS an number of times, as well as other stores. We came back after Poltronesofa moved into the store and the new range of furniture gave us some new options. Staff have been helpful along the way, but in Particular KateH has been exceptional in helping us find the suite and options that we needed. She is very knowledgeable and assisted us in many the many aspects of looking for the right sofas. Our order has been placed and are looking forward to our new suite

Delivery 3 months late, 1 settee faulty and SCS refused to change it. I would recommend that people avoid SCS if they want good customer service.

The shop workers where I went shut the shop 10 minutes early and moaned when I travelled 25 minutes to pay off my couch also the worker said he would give me a discount on the cushions told me to come in on Tuesday or Wednesday lieing to me when he did not work them days because I turned up 10 minutes from close to pay off my couch terrible service would not off me anything for my wasted time and 4 trips to the shop over cushions terrible customer service not happy

Had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We were even given a lovely gift bag on our way out, which was a nice touch. Overall a wonderful experience.

We were met by Kate, very friendly, explained everything in detail, unlike some salespeople at other stores not pushy at all, but able to answer all questions asked, nothing too much trouble and managed to get us a great price on the sofa I dont often personally recommend people but your company should be proud to have a employee like Kate.

Greeted warmly which was a good start! Asked if anything in particular I was looking for. Got taken round the whole shop and was told all information on each sofa I was interested in. Got taken to the exact sofa I had in mind. Very knowledgeable staff.

We received a warm welcome. Had time to look around and when ready we’re given assistance in the purchase details and delivery. Staff were approachable and helpful at all times.

Bought our sofas on 26 January '26. Total cost including insurance, etc,was £1991. Was assured order would be delivered mid April. On 28 Jan. went back to store to double check on the colour, no problem and again was assured delivery mid April. Again went to store mid March to confirm delivery and was assured delivery was still mid April. Based on these confirmations of delivery we then started to make arrangements for removal of old furniture in our home.
We phoned the store on 4th April just to be sure of advised delivery date (mid April) and were told that delivery was now expected mid May!!! They blamed late delivery on the USA war with Iran!!I i could not believe my ears. There were other SCS staff in the background advising the person on the phone, (I know who this person was,by the way) and it all appeared a bit of a joke to them. I was advised that to cancel the order would involve a cancellation fee of £600+ so I had to bite the bullet and am now awaiting delivery mid May. and will have to rearrange the removal of my old furniture to accommodate the new delivery mid May.
Overall this has been a disgraceful customer relation episode. Had we not kept checking on delivery date SCS had no intention of advising the new mid May date which is a disgrace. This was told to me over the phone.
