My son was very happy to receive his new laptop.

Very fast delivery, very good customer service. Would highly recommend and will order again.

Arrived early good quality and took the updates with no problems. I would recommend this company for its excellent price and speedy service when buying a new Laptop.

This will sound familiar to anyone reading recent reviews. I ordered an MSI laptop from SOL which arrived promptly although that is as good as it gets. On booting the computer, I was invited to update Windows 10 which failed after a few hours, on some security updates. Completion of MSI registration was not possible as the machine could not be recognised by their system which raises concerns over provenance.

After contacting SOL, I found that they are only contactable by email. Phone contact is limited to selling, and now I can better understand why this is the case. SOL's response, when I asked for support in resolving these issues was to confirm that I had received the laptop!! Hello!! Since I am asking for support resolving issues with the computer, of course it has been delivered. Repeated requests for support have yielded no response.

When I call the sales number, there is no way to pass the call to the "Returns" team as they only communicate by email. Having experienced their email "communication", it is clear that they have a problem in that area.

I have now attempted to re-set the laptop and am a few hours into the process and unsure of how it will play out. For 850 pounds I would have expected the courtesy of a considered response and a little assistance. Apparently, that is not a priority; assistance is reserved for sales only.

Returns with this company are a joke. Ordered a laptop for Christmas from save on laptops and it arrived pretty fast. This laptop had a dedicated graphics card for casual gaming for my gf. Sent it straight back the next day as there is an issue where graphics drivers will not work with the card and render it useless. All i asked for was a refund so i could buy a different model from them but i will now be taking my business elsewhere. It's now close to christmas 17/12/17 (was sent back on the 05/12/17) and it has only just reached their engineers which will now take another 7 days. I have emailed them to chase up on it and they told me that they would chase up the laptop as it has now been put into the engineering team which is fine until 2 days later i get an email saying that it now has only just gone into engineering so in effect i was lied to. My gf is now going to miss out on a christmas present because of how slow they operate on returns. I even asked for an exchange to make it easier for them while still giving them business yet this was still not possible apparently because it has been "in engineering" for an eternity. I expect a full refund as it was sent back within the 14 day period asap so i have enough time to get my gf a present before christmas.

Rude and unhelpful.

After recommending Save on Laptops to my mum, she bought a new laptop for my younger brother to help with his GCSE work. Ordered a week before Black Friday, to avoid the frenzy, however, SOL said that the laptop has been lost in the post, further providing no solution, and simply stating 'I don't know what to say'.

Now, after being offered a refund, we are still waiting. It has been over 7 working days, simply a joke and poor business practice.

I would not recommend Save on Laptops, as while their name suggests you will 'save', it is not worth the headache, frustration and time. Sort your front of house out.

My order has been delivered to me one day earlier even if I am living abroad (Ireland). My laptop came in perfect condition and it was exactly what I had ordered. I must admit that the price was so good that I was worrying if I will get what I ordered.

Customer service were very helpful when there was an issue with my order, the problem was sorted in one phone call. My laptop arrived in good time and worked perfectly, I would definitely recommend buying from them.

Bought my laptop it died after 2 hours off usin it. Delivery was bad, delivery guy just left a message that nobody is home, without knocking + paid for delivery.
Laptop died on a first day, and now i had to contact HP support to make a warranty service... Obviously by the website i need to contact manufacturer first for support... If i wouldn't need a laptop i would ask for full refund, but sadly i need it... And HP support is not asking any delivery costs, they will just pick it up and drop it off for free...
Not satisfied with service, tried to email Saveonlaptops.co.uk but haven't received any answers...

This is the 5th laptop my family has ordered over the years and we're always satisfied. I bought the apache pro MSI and it arrived the next day on time. Opening it up was great. Well packaged and immaculate. Lots of free goodies not offered elsewhere for the same price. Computer is amazing! So much better than the last MSI i bought 5 years ago. Graphics cards have come on! Thank you Saveonlaptops! 5 stars from me 😁

Product did not turn up on date specified, even though paid extra for delivery. When laptop finally turned up it is the wrong one. Double checked invoice and they have forgotten to add the larger HD to work with the SSD.

got a very good price on an Asus laptop and was delivered less than 24 hours later, however in their product description it states backlit keyboard and it isn't

My laptop arrived two days early was very happy with the delivery via dpd. Have thoroughly tested the computer and everything is working great!

The only reason it's 4 stars is the website's lack of after sales phone number and their email address I'm not sure if it's for after sales queries or just presales. Perhaps they could clarify that by updating the contact us page?

pretty cool laptop, does what I bought it for, only downside was it came in a bag, in a box, in a delivery bag yet had to wipe the outside down as it was dusty? it came off easily enough, just wasnt expecting that, the buying experience was smooth and delivery was swift with the £10 next day option. would use them again as the same laptop was upto £80 dearer elsewhere.

I have bought a house omen 15" i5 laptop, it arrived much quicker then I was expecting. The price was fantastic I shopped around but these guys were about £100 cheaper than everywhere else so obviously I bought it even though I had never really heard of them before, I read a load of reviews from previous buyers and all of them seemed happy with their service and I have to say so am I. The laptop is amazing, quick stylish and we'll built and the service from these guys was superb the dpd delivery was easy to track so I made sure I was home for the scheduled delivery time and it was there right on time. So easy, I would recommend this website to anybody wanting a laptop at a great price with even better service.

I just bought my fifth laptop over several years from SaveonLaptops , up until now everything has been marvellous, always cheap, always delivered on time, always no issue. Clearly reading reviews that is not always the case. This time I sent an email asking one simple question about the setup of the laptop (it has two hard drives and I asked which one the operating system was installed on). A week later, with still no response, I just got on and ordered the laptop. I nearly went elsewhere. I did also try calling your number but always sat waiting to speak to somebody, I tried several times and after 5 or 10 minutes each time I just gave up. Up until now I'd have said the service was excellent, but you have to sort your customer support out, people review you as good or bad. I have gone from very good, to concerned I don't want to be ever stuck trying to get any support. I will undoubtedly buy another laptop soon, I'll read your reviews again, and maybe go elsewhere if they continue to berate your support.

Bought laptop 1/9/17 , was switching off when battery only after a couple of minutes . Returned it and they confirmed fault but could not offer a replacement. Many calls and emails later to find a solution, I chose a similar spec model which was £8.00 dearer . I asked for this to written off as a goodwill gesture . £8.00 !!!! They refused. Every time I called ( to sales ) I was informed ( lied to ) they couldn’t forwards me onto the returns department then one lad did and said ( I don’t know why you were told that ) . Did speak to one reasonable lady in the returns department when obtaining a RMA number . A lost sale and lost recommendations for £8.00. Stay clear . Maybe cheap - but you get that service also . Avoid .

Well what can I say, when the order went through I did receive the brand new laptop very quickly but I'm afraid that's where the pleasantries stop.
After charging the laptop up I turned it on to begin the initial 1st time setup and after step 2 the laptop would restart back to step 1 over and over again.
Firstly, for a company to have a returns department solely email based is a big backwards step in my opinion.
Secondly, the whole repair process is a VERY slow and drawn out process. (almost a month for my repair on a brand new laptop I may add)
Finally, I'd like to praise the one lady (Gemma) who (via email) kept me informed as much as she could.
Although my issue has now been resolved, sadly I will not be shopping there again nor will I recommend them unless there is major improvements made.
