This went well throughout and we were very pleased with the result. The window looks great following replacement of the old sashes and we're sure it will make a big difference to keeping the house warm over the winter. It's also great to be able to leave the windows slightly open to provide ventilation without worrying about security risks. The installer was great, arriving promptly, completing the work well and to the agreed timetable, and cleaning up all the mess nicely while being very helpful and answering all our questions. Overall we are very happy with the Sash Window Workshop and would recommend them if you want to improve your old windows.

Very pleased with the new double glazed sash casements in my windows. I wanted to retain the original frames and the new sashes look and work just as I had hoped. Thoroughly reliable company in every respect. Great communication throughout and superb fitter who wanted to be sure I was completely satisfied with everything before he left.

The sash window workshop were very professional from start to finish. I had 4 very old victorian sash windows replaced with new double glazed units. They are expensive due to being custom made, but worth every penny. We had a slight glitch with sizing initially, but they sorted it out and all to my satisfaction. The finishing was to a high level and I'm looking forward to some cold weather to test them out. Here's to no more old windows that stream condensation all winter! All very good and happy with the end product.

I have no complaints about the workmanship - the windows are absolutely fine. However, the organisation has been problematic. 1. We gave them a key (as the work was being done in a holiday home); despite several promises to return the key, all prompted by us, they still have not done so and we will now have to have our locks changed. 2. We paid them as soon as the main body of work was done. Despite a commitment to come to finish it off, they have not returned some 4 months later. Our advice: don't give them a key and don't pay them until the whole job is finished.

Overall the product and service has been excellent. My visit around the factory was very worthwhile and informative. There was just one blip, where toughened glass was fitted in the wrong sash, but the problem was fixed within a few days without fuss. The technical survey and laser measuring methods ensured that the new windows fitted perfectly. The fitters were on-time, brought plenty of dust sheets, were very efficient and did an excellent job.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that my initial deposit was insurance protected. I have no hesitation in recommending TSWW to anyone.

This is the fourth time we’ve used the Sash Window Workshop, as we gradually replace a large number of old sash windows

We had four sash replacements this time. Even though the original windows date back to the 1920s, the company has been able to make the windiest better than the originals, doing an excellent refurbishment of the frames, replacing the weights, sash cords and pulleys, as well as installing new sashes and ironmongery.

We have one last sizeable number of windows to replace. We won’t be going anywhere else.

Great product and the customer service and installation is the same five star for me

3x 100 year old deteriorating draughty timber sash windows replaced with new double glazed sashes with draught seals and ironmongery. Fully decorated and very well made. Slender glazing bars replicate the originals unlike other manufacturer products I researched. Existing sash boxes retained and re-used.
Installation completed within a day by skilled operative. Old windows removed and taken away. Dust sheets used to protect at each location. Carpets and surrounds hoovered.
I am left with perfect sliding sash windows, no draughts and heating requirements already reduced.
Worth every penny.

Could not be better - first class

The project was handled very well throughout, with regular and clear communication, sensible pricing and excellent service by the fitter on the day of the works. The Sash Window company is very well organised and run. Its people know exactly what they are doing. I would strongly recommend them for any sash window replacement, installation or refurbishment.

Absolutely SUPERB service from start to finish. I highly recommend this company. I was looking for a company to fit a new wooden Victorian door and new front sash windows. Unfortunately I had already decided to go with another company for my front sash windows but when I came across Sash Windows Workshop I decided to use them for the door. My only regret is that I didn't hire Sash Window Workshop to fit my new windows as well. Sash Windows Workshop gave me confidence as soon as Stav called me. What a great guy and utter pro. Put me at ease immediately, non of the sales crap, just upfront honest good natured and friendly help to answer your questions. The follow up initial meet with Stav was also great and we had already decided to go with them on the strength of Stav's personality alone. He really is a fantastic front person for the company and worth his fee. I hope the company realise this. I'm sure they do. Then onto the survey itself and another star, Chris, who came round. A lovely chap and again just an utter pro. Answered all our questions and went over and above with his communication afterwards. The thing that this company does so well is the communication. Firms don't realise how important it is for people, we are spending literally tens of thousands on a product and the least companies such as this can do is stay in touch and support the customer. Sash Windows Workshop do that expertly, even down to the office support staff who are always on hand to answer queries big or small. Even our fitter was brilliant. He had worked with the company for decades which speaks volumes. And he just took the utmost care in everything he did that day. The window company I used to do my actual windows left a lot to be desired and they have five star reviews. I won't name them here. The product itself was good but I wasn't impressed with the care and service and communication. So all I will say is Sash Windows Workshop were superb and you will not be disappointed. Our door is beautiful. Thank you to all at the Workshop.

We’re really pleased with our new windows from the Sash Window Workshop. It was particularly good that not only could they replace the old, rotten windows in the Georgian part of our house but they were also able to refurbish the windows in the Victorian extension. The installation team was really hard working and did a great job.

Brilliant company. Beautiful windows, not cheap but amazing quality, so definitely worth the investment. The Sash Window Workshop have been good to their word and the few issues we have had they have visited and made repairs. Workmen are professional, polite, tidy and highly skilled.

We had two sash windows replaced. The Sash Window Workshop team held to their quotes, delivered on time (indeed earlier than expected) and carried out the installation cleanly and efficiently. We are delighted with the end product and are currently looking to place a further order.

Excellent service all the way through from the first meeting to the installation. Clear options were presented to me and I went with complete new window installation. Cannot be happier with the service provided. Right from the start to the end we have had a great experience. We purchased a timber door for the house and
a) the door itself is beautiful
and
b) the customer service right from the start to the end has been exceptional.
We initially interacted with Joe in the Sales team who was extremely professional and a genuinely nice guy. I was then invited to the workshop (which I would recommend to any prospective client) and was kindly shown around the whole of the workshop which was very fascinating for me. Everyone I met there was really nice, friendly and helpful which made my choice of door and placing my order very easy.
Unfortunately, we did have an issue with the door itself, however, the way it was efficiently dealt with in such a timely manner was what impressed me the most. I spoke to Joe again and had some interaction with the director Richard Dollar at this stage and they both showed genuine concern for the issue and rectified the issue promptly.
It was a very pleasant experience and good to know that there are genuine honest companies still around even in this day and age!
I am sure this company will only grow with more success.

Excellent service, from initial consultation to fitting in the end. Communications with the initial consultant, the office and the fitters themselves was fantastic. Any and all questions and changes were dealt with immediately and without hesitation. I can highly recommend The Sash Window Workshop.

We were delighted with all stages of our interactions with the Sash Window company, from their prompt initial responses, through to the final payment and warranty. Everything was completely professional, prompt and clear.
The work was done very efficiently, with 3 teams working in 3 rooms in parallel to finish patio doors and 3 windows within one day.
The one unknowable was how much difference the double-glazing would make to our 120-year-old Victorian sashes - it made the rooms significantly cosier, with no more condensation.
In fact, we realised they were a lot better even than our 15-year-old double glazed patio doors. So we've gone for replacement of those too!
We would always recommend them.

What appears to be a great looking product, has been woefully let down by poor Customer Service to obtain just price for a door that is gracefully advertised on Social Media, (with that said: nobody I spoke with were current with their own advertising promo’s).
Moreover, I have made several attempts to contact their appointed surveyor team whom has ignored to follow up my sales lead and return courteously a customer phone call or even email. In fact it is only sheer ignorance.

In the world of retail, ‘Customer Service’ is the first impression, and therefore a key component to the cohesion of happy customers - abundantly so when dealing with premium brands (so-called on this occasion in my opinion). Their branding does not match the expectation for the initial customer journey and this should be reviewed, and this does not fulfil my confidence any further sadly based on my experience on this dull occasion.

On time, remarkably clean during and after the work which, for the 4th time I've used the Sash Window Workshop, was done to perfection. A great and enjoyable company to work with.
