Ordered a 3-star key. Input the code and paid a reasonable price and it arrived next day. What's not to like?

Made an order and stock wasn't available when it went through as frustrating as it was the team went above and beyond to ensure I received a similar product that I was happy with and kept the original delivery date requested. Good clear communication. Despite a stock hiccup I can't complain with the service received

I had a safe and shelf delivered which seemed like it had already been sent out to a customer, it’s was lacking the included 9V battery and had cosmetic damage to the rear and to hinges. I contacted the customer services who offered money if I kept the safe with the damage. I thought this was fair so I ordered a 9v battery at my own expense. However when this arrived and I could open the safe the shelf they had sent me would not go into the safe despite it being a selectable option upon purchase.
Back to customer services who now tell me that no shelf can go into that specific safe and their details on the website were wrong. I have to send the safe back and pick an alternative but to do that I have to phone the sales team, I’ll need to organise a day to get the old safe picked up and a new one delivered.
So in between busy periods as a doctor and now 10 days down the line (when for my insurance renewal on the 19th April, my insurance company has mandated a properly installed safe- so I’m currently not technically covered) I call to find alternatives. At this point I don’t feel like I’ve not had the best experience and I asked for a discount. I was offered an additional 5.9% above the discount they are offering site wide. When I requested they matched the price I paid for my original safe (£249.66 ex vat) they said no because the “margin is not that high.” Currently the safe is £280.25 ex vat using the code on their website so I was asking for a £30.59 discount ex vat for the bother, disruption and purchase of a now superfluous battery that should have been included anyway. I would also need to pay for the new safe before they would deliver and I’d only get my refund when the other safe was back with them, all the time I’m not insured on my high value items.

They get two stars over 1 because an offer was made for a reduction and the sales agent was nice but after a customer experience like this- to be told about margins is a bit galling.

A no cost swap, with collection and drop off on the same date isn’t too much to ask

Good information and good product delivered on time

The Chubb Homestar safe arrived promptly and installation was fairly straightforward. Decided not to use the included sleeve anchors as they looked a bit flimsy. Would not like to risk applying the required torque of 50Nm on these, used Rawlbolts instead.

Great service at a decent price.

We recently upgraded our house locks. Everything came quickly and as expected. A keyed alike item was out of stock at the time of order and it had an expected date to come in. The item got dispatched same day and arrived in the morning the next to me!
