Do not be fooled Runkd claims to be a .co.uk website however it is infact Italian and hence be prepared to pay 70 quid more than advertised priced as there will be VAT and an import charge raised b... Mehr ansehen

Estimados señores

Estimados señores, en un mes que llevo reclamando mi pedido, siempre me han contestado lo mismo echándole la culpa al transportista. La responsabilidad hacia el cliente es de ustedes, no vale estar escudándose en el transporte, porque en mi caso, y como tenían las mismas zapatillas en stock, les he solicitado que me enviaran otras, y que reclamasen al transportista las anteriores, a lo que se han negado. La responsabilidad de los pedidos es de ustedes, así que déjense de escudar en el transportista, busquen soluciones y cumplan con los clientes, que son los que pagan. Un saludo.

volvemos a pedirle disculpas por lo que ha ocurrido. Lamentablemente, a veces los problemas de entrega de paquetes pueden tardar varias semanas en resolverse, ya que necesitamos tener confirmación de la pérdida real antes de proceder al reembolso. De hecho, a menudo puede ocurrir que, tras unas semanas en las que se realizan las comprobaciones necesarias, el envío se desbloquee y se entregue al cliente.
Tal y como le anticipamos por correo electrónico, se ha realizado el debido reembolso en la misma forma de pago con la cual se realizó el pedido. Por lo tanto, el problema ha sido solucionado.
Gracias por su comprensión, quedamos a su disposición para cualquier aclaración.

Good value and no issues

Despite my initial nervousness, all worked well. Paid for FedEx delivery. Still WAY cheaper in total than elsewhere for a pair of shoes that were hard to find. Easy to track and arrived when stated.

No problems for me!

I took a chance after reading the bad reviews and ordered some expensive shoes. Yes my order came from Italy, no I didn't have any issues. Order was despatched the day after my order. They provided tracking info all the way from Italy to UK. It took two weeks and two of those days were postal strikes. No I don't work for for Runkd. I can't fault them!

Completely positive experience

After reading the reviews for this site, I very nervously placed an order for a pair of On trainers I couldn’t get in my size anywhere in the UK.

Perhaps they’ve updated the website after feedback but personally, I found the whole experience very transparent and efficient. This is why I wanted to post a review in case anyone else is concerned.

I think it’s very obvious that shipping is from Italy and therefore subject to UK customs post Brexit (but only for orders over £135, which mine wasn’t)

Also very clear standard shipping can take up to 25 days. So I paid another £2 for FedEx and the order came within a week as promised with full tracking.

Would definitely use again. So happy to have been able to get hold of these trainers and a good experience all round.

fantastic service

I ordered a pair of on trainers on a Sunday and they were delivered to Liverpool on Tuesday morning despite coming from Italy.Fantastic service and price which was 30 pound cheaper than everybody else's

Misleading Italian company pretending to be UK

Despite the UK website address, all orders come from Italy (according to their customer service rep). THIS IS NOT CLEARLY STATED. When selecting a courier option, it doesn't show that the standard option of Parcel Force will be 25 days+ (optimistic) and it does NOT say that you will then likely have a customs charge when it arrives. I've had great experiences with Parcel Force where I live with deliveries usually within 2-3 days max, so I thought I was paying extra shipping charges for a great courier service. Runkd have my money and my order is still sat in an a depot in Italy as it has done for 2 weeks. I thought I found a good deal on their website but I had no idea about any of this and the customer service rep only replied to send me a screenshot of how this information is even hidden in a popup window! To get to the popup window you need to click a link that doesn't even suggest it is about this important information. It doesn't get more misleading than that. DO NOT USE (unless you are in Italy, or don't like money or time). I have probably thrown away £91.08 and now need to shell out more to get my item elsewhere because I needed it within a week.

Kindly note that we ship worldwide and therefore offer different language versions of our website.
Additionally we do not hide in any case that we are a company based in Italy which is clearly visible in the contact area of our homepage and on several other pages of the website.
Further we do advise in the cart that this is a shipment from the EU and that for UK clients the following applies:

“The prices shown includes UK VAT. The shipment is sent from the EU and, in accordance with UK rules after brexit, VAT will be collected at checkout only for orders under 135 GBP (total value of products, excluding shipping and other costs). Orders over 135 GBP may be subject to customs control at your destination with VAT and possible handling charges.”

We also show the following information when choosing the delivery option for the order.
"Shipping is from the EU."

Additionally we would like to point out that the list of courier options clearly states the estimated delivery time and the same applies to the courier you have chosen:
Parcel Force Standard (6-25 working days)

There not a scam

Ordered a pair of trail shoes and not knowing they where coming from Italy. Thinking oh no what have I done seeing a lot of people saying there are scam. Im afraid my trainer came in 6 days had a postage reminder where they were and when they arrived in England Trainers came in normal box just perfect super happy its a AAAA+++ for RUNKD.

Scam

Ordered product in October. Its now approaching March and still not received product. After constant requests of a refund, they arrogantly continue to say ‘we are waiting to here from parcel service’. Do not order from this website. Im not the only one.

We are deeply sorry for this delivery delay and any inconvenience caused.
During the current Covid-19 pandemic delivery services may experience extreme delays due to increases in shipping volumes and restrictions limiting the capacity of the service.
As advised to the customer, we are forced to wait for a written confirmation that the parcel is indeed lost in order to proceed with a refund.
The postal service has a technical time period needed for postal anomalies to be resolved. A full refund has been placed on our behalf since no response from the postal service has been received within said time period.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

Wish I had read these reviews before…

Wish I had read these reviews before buying my trainers. Purchased on 20th December 2020 and still no notification that they have been shipped.

Follow up:

After waiting for 30 days for trainers to arrive, they turned up yesterday.

Unfortunately they dont fit and now have to be returned. Checked return policy and you have pay the postage fee. Checked with different couriers and to post back to Italy, it costs the same price as the trainers! Now stuck with the trainers!

UK buyers beware!!

Parcel Force Standard (6-25 working days)
Unfortunately we cannot foresee any delays or issues with the delivery services and the stated delivery times when choosing the delivery service are an estimate time which are provided by the delivery services.
Our terms and conditions clearly state that the return costs are to be paid by the client.

Just avoid

Just avoid - 25 days to deliver trainers!!!! In 2020? Save yourself the weeks of tracking a package crawling from somewhere in Europe on a Donkey.
Putting the letters “6/25” at the end of a sentence does not clearly indicate that “standard delivery” of an item may take between 6 and 25 days - it looks like maths or some of supplier code - bad comms, misleading and just accept and apologies please.

Still waiting for trainers

Still waiting for trainers. Cost over £100 and I’m worried I’m not going to see them or my money...
Edit. I’m still waiting. The trainers appear to be sat in an Italian sorting office.
I’d rather pay for shipping and the company use a reliable courier. This is ridiculous!
I can’t even get a response from the company now so I doubt I’ll get a refund anytime soon!

Worst after sales service ever.

Bought a pair of running shoes from Runkd that wore a hole in the heel after less than 3 weeks use. Contacted Runkd and was told they had been in touch with the manufacturer who said the warranty was void because the shoes had been worn. Runkd offered me a 50% discount that they are now refusing to honour and and also ignoring my emails. The shoes cost £160 and should not have worn like they did. I have over 20 pairs of the same make of shoe that have never failed like this. Runkd are the worst company I have ever dealt with and their after sales service is diabolical. I will never use them again.

Firstly we would like to apologise for the inconvenience experienced.
Regrettably, our suppliers' warranty department does not accept the warranty replacement as the item does not show any manufacturing defect but rather due to wear and tear from the photos provided.
The warranty case was re-looked into with our Hoka supplier in Italy hence the slight response delays, therefore our team is unfortunately not able to accept the warranty replacement nor a discount voucher.

Awful Customer Service

Awful experience. Purchased On Running shoes from Runkd which developed a fault and were apparently covered under the warranty. Emailed the customer service department twice and haven't received a response. As a last ditched attempt I emailed On Running who informed me that RUNKD.co.uk are not an official reseller of their product and so the warranty is void. Woudn't buy from Runkd.co.uk again

UPDATE
Disappointed that I had to receive an update on my case through a review site! With no specifics on why On Running rejected my warranty claim. To respond to the other points...

Runkd.co.uk received none of my emails through their contact us form because apparently their contact us form on their website was broken. I was informed by their customer service department "Once again please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience caused. We will indeed get our IT department to have a look at our messaging system as it does indeed seem to not be working correctly.". Not a great service further have a screenshot showing the date and proof of submission.

In response to the authenticity of RUNKD as an official seller of On’s…the email I got from On Running customer service team stated "Thank you for your message. I am sorry but Runkd is not an official retailer from us. Therefore we are not allowed to take care of this warranty claim.”

By further checking on our database we have not received any email requests from the client prior to lodging the warranty claim, by contacting the client directly after reviewing the feedback we were able to assist.
We also confirm that we are an authorised dealer for On-Running shoes purchased directly from our official Italian distributor.

Regrettably, the warranty case was not accepted by our suppliers' warranty department.
