In January I had integral blinds fitted to my patio doors and rear windows. I was really pleased with them, as was my neighbour who also decided to have them. I then opted to have them in the windows at the front of the house. Some days later one of the rear windows was completely misted up inside the glass panes. I contacted Ruk, sent photos and it was agreed that they would replace it when the front windows were done in February. That did not happen as the fitter did not know anything about the replacement. Also at the front the blinds could not be fitted to the upper windows as they were a different thickness, something their surveyor had not picked up on I was not particularlybothered about the upper windows, but they insisted on replacing the entire window frame as the blinds had already been made. Twice I have been given a date only for no-one to turn up, numerous emails, phone calls and messages all unanswered. On July 9th the new frame was delivered minus the replacement for the faulty on and were due to be fitted that weekend, again nothing. I have sent a formal complaint via email and have still not received anything from them. This is totally unacceptable.

To add to this , I have just seen a response to an earlier post from Joshua Lee of Ruk, stating that he does know Nadim, I find this very strange as when my replacement window frame was delivered 0n July 9th the delivery person said she only dealt with Nadim and didn't know of Joshua, she was trying to call and locate the missing panel , guess what Nadim and Joshua appear to share the same mobile number!!,

I had been in communication with Joshua for quite some time re the installation of blinds. He had requested a heavy deposit for the order to be placed with his Supplier. The 9th June had been agreed as the installation date, however, this was not to be, as the Supplier had let him down with delivery. Joshua was very apologetic, and I was very understanding, and a date of 19th June at ‘around 10 am’ was agreed as the date of installation. 10 am on the 19th came and went, I started phoning and messaging Joshua, wanting to know why nobody had arrived to do the installation. He did not answer the phone, nor did he reply to any of my messages. I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or explanation. I can only assume that I have been scammed, they have my hefty deposit, and I have no blinds or explanation ! Don’t use them !

Avoid, apparently these guys do garden clearances for shedforremoval.co.uk. refused to take certain things as "I cant take that". They left the back garden a mess which ive finished the job...and they price at a rate you'd expect a top job....this was anything but.

Top job! Joshua Lee was first class all the way through my purchase. The surveyor came out really quickly to do all the measuring and suitability assessment. The fitter Alex was an absolute joy, really professional, high standard of work and attention to detail. The blinds look amazing and I’m really pleased with them.

Placed my order direct with Joshua, and all our communications were very satisfactory. Joshua arranged for a surveyor to come within a week. Surveyor was very professional and measured each pane four times! Six weeks later, Alix, another friendly chap, came and professionally installed six new panes. They look beautiful, smart and offer me the privacy I required without compromising on the daylight coming through them. Talk about 'window dressing'.

I echo the sentiments of others who have shared their experiences. I strongly advise against hiring him and his team. Initially, he seemed friendly, but his installer, Lee, was unprofessional and left my kitchen in ruins while attempting to change the door. I paid 95% upfront, yet Lee abandoned the job half-finished for weeks, leading to an ant infestation due to lack of proper sealing. The wall was damaged and required someone else to replaster it. The doors remained unfinished for an extended period, and it took Nadim over four hours to rectify the issues after I repeatedly followed up. Now, I’m facing an additional £300+ expense to have the kitchen wall painted. Although he promised to send someone to complete the work, he has not responded to my messages. To make matters worse, Lee was dishonest and advised me not to inform Nadim about the poor job done, claiming he would replace my window for free. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this team.

Initially, I felt sorry for Nadim for a let down by his fitter, but now I will be starting the CC payment dispute.

My advise is pay a bit extra but go with a well established company. I wish I could share the photos to show the state of my kitchen

After the first few emails (January 2024) he came across as full of himself, his blinds are the best as they don't fail as the rest of the them..
I decided to trust him.. mistake!
I got the blinds fitted in May/June 2024 and for the first 4 months I was extremely happy with them!
Then in August 2024 I spotted the first bit of condensation in one pane.. and from there it went downhill as out of 19 panes, 12 failed (the only ones that haven't failed yet, are not exposed to as much sun as the other ones).
I contacted him straight away and for a little bit he played ball promising to replace them in the new year (2025), once again I trusted him.
Needles to say I am still waiting for him and have been chasing him by phone, email.. of course no answer!
IMPORTANT: he sold me the products through Leading Integral blinds, which by that point had already been dissolved (I wasn't aware of it unfortunately)

Fantastic service and the blinds were fitted professionally and well. Just what I wanted and can't fault anything. Communication was excellent too. Nothing too much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. Thank you again.

Very happy with our installation of the integral blinds. Professionally fitted by friendly fitters who was efficient as well as had respect for our property. I have read the negatives on here, but we had no issues whatsoever with RUK or Nadim.
